Draco: You know what would be a great catagory? "Most awesomely kick-ass Draco"

Jack: You do realise that, with the Hogwarts thread being around, you're not the only Draco.

Draco: Pssh. Like that Malfoy brat can hold a finger to my awesomely kick-ass-ness.

Popodey: I'd actually have to agree on that point.

I don't really see how you'd come by that conclusion. There was nothing even resembling the undead in the first trailer, and in this new one, there's only a couple scenes of Stalfos and bone-like animals (all set in a graveyard) and one shot of some ghosts in something of a sewer (which could very well be inside one of the graves, all considered).

Popodey bonks UGrey on the head

Popodey: The archive of the old events is over at acmlm.overclocked.org! It's only missing a couple months' worth of events. Which were slow months for the most part anyway.

Popodey then turned toward Schwa for a moment, as his eyes glowed purple and he sent his thoughts at the so-called Psi Warrior.

Popodey: ~And keep you psychic "voice" down!~

Draco: Dude, chill out, Popodey. Have some Little Smokies or some Cheese Nuggets or something.

Popodey: *grabs a w00t b33r* Meh.

I say the howling "wolf" is a wolfos.

In any case, the stalfos scenes are in a graveyard that happes to have trees around it. You can see the gravestones clearly in each stalfos scene.

And Gohma looks 10x more awesome than he ever has before.

No way, NP's best April Fools joke was the "announcement" of Super Luigi 64.

Anyway, I'm sure Nintendo will do something for preoders of this new Zelda... They could always give us Zelda 1 with the BS Zelda graphics (only with a better sprite for Link than the one hackers have put it) or do a totally new graphical overhaul of it. Or they could give Zelda 2 a graphical upgrade... Or throw Link's Awakening and the two Oracle games on a Gamecube disc.

I think I'd be a candidate. People'd be like "Hey, who's that guy with the kick-ass post layout?" and the response would be "Oh, it must be JDavis. His layouts is so awesome."

(At least it used to be that way )

Or it could be Melvin. You'd just have to look for the post that throws an SF thread's story into complete chaos and has to be deleted or edited to set things right.

(I'm just kidding, he hasn't done that in a good while )

Long ago there was Reinfors... All you'd have to do is look for the

Well, I haven't really been changing monthly for a while now (stopped after July)... And it'll probably be a good while before I change the layout again because this one is so bad-ass.

Dude, what have the giant boars got to do with the undead?

There are three scenes with the undead, but even in WW you could find that. The ghost ship, Stalfos, ReDeads and more. MM had a whole section full of ghosts and the undead, the Ikana region.

I'm counting four scenes with undead.

Yes, there were undead in TWW, but tell me, please, how many undead were in the TWW trailer, hm?

There are, infact, four undead scenes. One skeletal quadraped scene, two Stalfos scenes, one "ghosts" scene.

On my "to read" list

Harry Potter and something... something... (Prisoner of Azkaban) ?

Yes, PoA is the one after Chamber.

I, like, just finished reading all five currently-released HP books. Started reading them because of the Hogwarts story in the SF, and I must say I'm looking forward to Half-Blood Prince's release this July...

Other than that, I just got the colorized version of Bone: Out from Boneville. Pretty awesome.

Quint grabs a remote of sorts out of Wily's pocket, then slowly stand, not looking at anybody.

Quint: Let's go.

He presses a button on the remote, and the bars of Megaman and co.'s cage slowly lower into the floor, and the met-alloy cuffs fell off. Protoman grabbed Kalinka, and the three robots jumped out of the cage to join everybody else eight feet below. Suddenly, a female voice could be heard coming from Gutsman's systems...

Fem: Gutsman, can you hear me?

Gutsman: *places a hand to the side of his head* Loud and clear, Doc.

Fem: Finally, that dampening field is down! So, what's happened? Did you defeat Dr. Wily?

Gutsman: Erm... Now's... Not a good time to talk about it. Let's just say we rescued the hostages and leave it at that.

Fem: ... Okay... Tell everyone to stand in a group, I'm beaming you out.

And so, everyone stood together in roughly the center of the room. Next thing they knew, their bodies seemed to be both weightless and shapeless. They soared straight up, going right through the glass ceiling as if it wasn't there. They were outside now... It had stopped raining, and though the wind was blowing, it had no effect on them. They found themselves falling back toward the ground, but instead of Wily's fortress, the hovercraft was now below them. As they hit the ground, they returned to their normal form, as if nothing had happened.

JDavis: That... was... different.

Umm... No?

Legend of Zelda: No claws. Sorry.

Ocarina of Time: Claws, at least in the official art. But they're tiny. A little hard to tell in the game if they're there becaus it's rather dark during that fight. And all things considered, despite her classification as Parasitic Armored Arachnid... she's only got two legs. Not a spider.

Oracle of Season: Yep, claws. Big ones.

Wind Waker: It's got claws... But it's not really a crab or spider. More like a scorpion-like thing.

Four Swords Adventures: No claws. Larger versions of the original, basically.

All I meant to say is that it's pretty weird to see Gohma without claws, at least in a 3D game.

In Wind Waker, she's actually a cross between the old crab Gohma and a Moldorm (she's a giant Magtail, and 'Tail' is the Japanese name for Moldorms, Magtails are basically lava-based Moldorms).

Is the technical definiton of 'arachnid' having eight legs? Not sure about that.

1) I wouldn't know about Gohma attacking om OoT, since I can't remember a time that she got close enough to do so

2) I've already covered her lack of claws in LoZ and FSA.
