Did I forget to mention... Cardboard Tube?

But seriously, we've got a revolver somewhere. We also have a couple rifles in storage, but they are old and worth money and not to be used.

Appart from that... I've got some plastic nunchaku from a trip to Disney World (they came with big foam padding on them, but that slid right off and have long since been misplaced)... A couple bats (T-Ball, Softball, nothing we intended as weapons when we purchased them, but nobody plays said sports anymore, and we do have them laying in places where they'd be easily grabbed in case of intruder)... And though not a weapon, I've got a large wooden shield from a trip to a medieval fair.

I've looked into the Majora's Mask references. Basically, they are as follows:

Said by the King of Red Lions outside the Tower of the Gods, preparing for the Earth and Wind Temples
Link, do you know the legend of the Hero of Time? Once long ago, he defeated Ganon and brought peace to the Kingdom of Hyrule... A piece of the Triforce was given to the Hero of Time and he kept it safe, much as Zelda kept hers. That sacred piece is known as the Triforce of Courage. When the Hero of Time was called to embark on another journey and left the land of Hyrule, he was separated from the elements that made him a hero. It is said that at that time, the Triforce of Courage was split into eight shards and hidden throughout the land. Even I do not know where they rest, but this much I do know: they lie hidden somewhere in this Great Sea. The Triforce of Courage is the only key that will once again open the doorway to Hyrule. You must search for it.
I've underlined the important part.

Text from the Legend pages found in the Tower of the Gods using the Tingle Tuner
Part One
It is said that long ago, a boy garbed in green known as the Hero of Time saved this land. However, on a certain island, there is also the story of the fairy who saved that hero...

Part Two
It is said that the Hero of Time met the fairy in the midst of his travels. The fairy appeared before the Hero, who had found himself lost in darkness. With a mystic power, it would float in midair, dancing above his head like a burst balloon.

Part Three
After the fairy handed the lost Hero a map, it flew off as quickly as it had appeared. Better able to foresee places of danger than the Hero, the fairy marked them on a map. The Legend goes on to say the quest of the Hero of Time was saved by this plump figure...

Part Four
Fairies live for thousands of years... but this odd fairy was a bit different. This mystical fairy was born near a lake, and when he met the Hero, he was but 35. Beyond that, there is little known about that fairy...

Part Five
The little-known Legend of the Fairy's 35th Birthday
On one island they celebrate one's 35th birthday with a green coat and red pants. They do this in the hopes of becoming like the legendary fairy, Tingle.
All of this refers to Majora's Masks's Tingle.

Apart from that, there are some less direct references that don't really confirm anything:

The Legend at the beginning of the game shows Link riding away from Hyrule on a horse.

Carlov (the Nintendo Gallery guy) has the All-night Mask on his wall (he also has the Bunny Hood, Goron Mask, and Keaton Mask, but they appear in OoT, where-as the All-night Mask didn't).

The Rito Postman that stands behind the counter sorting letters (you talk to him to play the letter-sorting mini-game is identical (ignoring that he's a Rito) to the postman in Majora's Mask (also, thus, the Running Man in OoT, but the reason for him being identical is the postman, not his running man counter-part, so it's a MM reference (the postman also appear in Minish Cap, so he's now just one of the many recurring characters)).

And one of the least-obvious ones, the Hylian text on the Phantom Ganons' swords translates to "Zubora Gabora", which are the names of the Mountain Smithies in Majora's Mask.

I've got a 32. Haven't taken the writing portion, and I think you've got to be crazy for doing so. The only real reason to take the writing section is if the college you want to go to asks for it. Other than that, it's a waist of time and money.

Yes, the writing portion of the ACT is new, optional, and costs additional money. I don't know if it factors into the composite score or not currently (if you take it). Presumably, they're going to eventually make it mandatory.

You, sir, fail at making this poll.

It's awesome. The picture isn't really too blurry to me, just looks like it's three and a half or more feet away from me and I don't have my glasses on

I haven't been able to connect for some time now. The connection just times out. I'm using mIRC, with port 6667. I have no trouble connecting to other networks, with the same port, just this one.

Nothing postive to say about it. I mean, all you did was use an animated gif of Dr. Mario from the title screen of Dr. Mario on the NES.

On the negative side, though, it's too big for a minipic. Minipics should be 11x11. All this is going to show up as is a tiny white and brown blob.

Popodey was lounging sideways in a chair, and he looked around at the Slytherin common room. Most of the furniture, like the chair he was in, was very dark stained wood and black leather. There were a number of trophies resting on some of the cabinets. The walls were all stone, with an overlapping arch pattern carved into them and some dark green plants hanging relatively high up, and the large windows, through which one could see only water, affirmed Popodey's suspicion that they were currently under the lake. As he bit into an apple he had just grabbed from a nearby bowl, he was thinking that he could get used to this place.

He had no sooner thought this than a most annoying voice came unwanted from behind him.

Pansy Parkinson: Ugh! Remove yourself from my chair, you pest.

Popodey looked around the room again, confirming to himself that there were a number of identical chairs that were quite empty. However, he was already quite comfortable, and he wasn't going to let this obnoxious girl change that. As he turned around to face her, his dark eyes seemed to glow purple.

Popodey: Go sit in one of the other ones, pig face!

Without any argument, or even a single word, the girl went to the closest empty chair and sat down. She seemed as surprised as anyone by her actions, and a large number of Slytherins were looking back and forth between her and Popodey, quite confused. Finally Malfoy decided he was impressed enough to go over and talk to Popodey (probably much to Janus' relief).

Malfoy: I don't believe we've been properly introduced. I'm Draco Malfoy, and you are...?

Popodey: Not in the mood.

Malfoy: What was that!?

Popodey: You heard me.

Malfoy: You'd best watch what you say to me or-

Popodey: Or what? You'll complain to "Daddy"? Pfft. *stand up* If you'll excuse me, I have class in the mourning and I'd rather get some sleep before then.

And with that, Popodey headed toward the dorms, leaving Malfoy fuming with anger where he stood.

Two other Slytherin first-years ran up to either side of Popodey. One, a boy, had bright blue hair that was parted in the middle and fell loosely about halfway down his head. The other, a girl, had bright pink hair which had been placed in two pigtails, and strands of it came down in front of her ears in sort of curly swirls.

Boy: That was amazing! Talking to Malfoy like that!

Girl: From what I've gathered, most people let him get his way because of how much influence his father has...

Popodey: I'm not afraid of that pompous weasel or his father.

Girl: We gathered that much.

Boy: Er... My name's Billy.

Girl: And I'm Kidd.

Popodey: My name's Popodey Hand.

Popodey glanced at the two, expecting the usual chortle or laugh that accompanied his name. However, neither of the two seemed to find his name amusing. They reached the door to the Slytherin first-years dorm, and all three stopped. Billy and Kidd stared at Popodey for a moment, clearly uncertain as to whether or not they had gained his friendship. Finally he said...

Popodey: So, we'll see you tomorrow then, Kidd.

Kidd: Er.. yeah. Good night.

Popodey: Good night.

And with that, Popodey and Billy entered their dorm, and Kidd headed off towards her own.

You "win" when you figure out the pattern, yes. The thing about this game is that, proportedly, the longer it takes you to figure out, the more intellegent you are. (That is, stupid people realise it right away, but smart people try to think it out too much and it takes them longer). Someone posted this on my forums a number of months ago... I don't remember how long it took me to figure it out, but it was a good while (a couple days, I think).

Even if you're going for a style where you don't have the white visible, the iris+pupil shouldn't take up the entire area of the eye.

Now that the light had faded, the Dark Devil seemed sufficiently blinded, stumbling about for a moment.

Quint: Now, Gutsman!

Gutsman started firing star-shaped blasts at the Dark Devil, the same as he had fired at Forte. Each one sliced cleanly through it, leaving gaping holes. Quint, meanwhile, ran at a nearby wall and jumped at it, kicked off, and tackled Wily. Gutsman, catching on, fired several star-blasts at the part of the Dark Devil where Wily's legs were. As Quint and Wily fell towards the ground, the black 'goop' that made up the Dark Devil tried to cling to Wily, stretching from the top of the Dark Devil like mozzarella. However, one last star-blast from Gutsman disconnected the strand of Dark Matter. Without Wily to feed on, the Dark Devil blinked its eyes for a couple seconds, before dissolving. It wasn't exactly like it was melting.. tiny pieces of the Dark Matter were flying in every direction, making popping sounds as they did, but not making it any further than a foot from the main mass of the Dark Devil before dissipating. Finally, there was only a small mass, about a foot in diameter, of the Dark Devil left, which still had the large yellow eyes looking around fearfully. The eye blinked once before this one pieces exploded with a loud "POP!"

JDavis: Well that was easy.

Quint: Dad? Dad!?

Everyone looked over at Wily, who was not moving. His eyes were still solid white, and his mouth remained gaping open. The met hat had fallen off of his head, and lay on the ground a few feet away.

Quint: Duo! Do something!

Duo walks over and kneels next to Wily. He turns his hand into energy again, and places it in Wily's chest. After a moment, he removes it and looks at Quint.

Duo: There... is nothing I can do.

Quint: What!?

Duo: There is no life left in him. He was old, and the stress from having that much Evil Energy feeding off him was too much. I'm sorry.

Quint: *looking down at Wily* Father...

Before Bel could carry through with his motion, a tall man with white hair and large feathery wings was behind him, grabbing the right leg.

Jack: Don't even think about it.

A second person, this one with untamed black hair and large bat-like wings landed to the side.

Draco: *looking around* Man, did I miss the party?

"Did somebody say... awards?"

Everyonr turned in the direction of the voice, and found a second Dreamlander, this one having fiery red/orange hair, yellowed horns, an odd tail with a lump on the end, and a surgically attatched Bunny Hood.

Jack: Popodey! You've got a lot of nerve coming here?

Popodey: What? I thought this was a friendly gathering of SF characters? I've got as much right as anybody.

Jack: Funny, I didn't remember Kirbynite saying that people who want to kill him and kidnappers were allowed.

Popodey: First off, I don't care about killing Kirbynite anymore. Secondly, Draco's here, and I know full well that he ruled over an evil empire that slaughtered innocents and such.

Jack: Yeah, but he's, like, reformed.

----------

Over at the food table.

Draco: Ooo! Little Smokies and barbeque sauce!

----------

Popodey: In any case, as long as I'm doing nothing wrong at the moment, you can't kick me out. So

A short distance away, a blonde woman with a stroller and a diaper bag appear in a beam of blue light.

Haruko: Hey, honey, sorry it took so long... we really need to keep a diaper bag pre-packed for these sort of things.

Draco: *walking back over with a plate full of Little Smokies and a bowl of barbeque sauce* We offered to help.

Jack: I offered to help.

Haruko: Yeah, but I didn't want you guys to miss out on any of the.... What is Popodey doing here!?

Popodey: Whatever I feel like I wanna do! Gaw'!

Jack: Being an ass.
