Hm, what should I answer?

I use a resolution of 2048 x 768 (2 monitors)... But my IE windows are in only 1 screen, so I could answer 1024 x 768, but I could also answer 1600 x 1200 or higher

Hell!

This is my fault?

I changed my password now, I hope it won't happen again. I must admit it was really hard to find, but guess what It's Acmlm who settled it the day the board went back operational

Anyway, I changed it now, and I'm currently still thinking about another one that I could remember and that is hard enough to find

Hehe, funny that AOL-speak is even in the FAQ

"Use proper grammar and avoid l33t speak and AOL-speak (u, ur, y, in place of words such as you, you're, why). It's a good way to gain respect. "

Okay, I start hating CSS. So much trouble. Here it goes:

I have a .css file, let me copy the part that doesn't work:

Table
.Normal
{
border-collapse:collapse;
background:url(../img/Title2.png);
border:1px solid blue;
}
.Invisible
{
border:0;
border-spacing:0;
}

Okay, now one of my php / html pages:

...
(Style type="text/css")@import "css/manasky.css";(/Style)
...
(Table Class=Normal)
...
(/Table)
...
(Table Class=Invisible)
(Tr)(Td)
(Table Class=Normal)
...
(/Table)(/Table)

( = <
) = >

Now, can someone explain me why the blue border of the "Normal" tables only appears when the table is in another "Invisible" table ?

EDIT:

I added "Table" right before ".Invisible" or I removed the first "Table" and it now works.

Damn CSS.

*closes*

Posted on 06-16-04 06:51 PM, in Flash :S Link
Well, I have to make a short flash movie for a job, but I NEVER did flash before, and I'm really wondering how to make it...

I have six maps, and six buttons. The six maps are the same, but at different years (evolution of a territory). My six buttons are for the six years.

When I click on a button, I want the actual map displayed to fade out, and then the desired map fade in (the one matching with the button I clicked). So if you understand well, it makes a fun transition between the 2 images.

It's really easy to do with 2 images, but with 6? And I'm still not familiar with the layers system, and I did not have any tutorial on Flash, so I don't know if there is an easy way to do it, or if I should, for example, make 36 layers (for the 36 images transitions) and then when you click on a button, look at which image is currently shown and depending of that, play the right layers. Or Maybe I should put the 36 possibilities on the same layer? Bahh I don't know!

So if anyone has some good knowledge with flash, I really could use some help. If you need more informations, just ask.

Thanks
Malow

Heh, I'll be original, but it's also what I think: I'll say Super Smash Bros. Melee!

Bowser can be really hard there, and it's a real battle, a real fight!

I'm looking for a software that can record in like... a .avi whats' being done at my screen. For example, I would like to record myself playing to a game.

I think a TV Tuner can do that, but I don't want to buy hardware, I want to have a software that does that.

Anyone knows if that kind of program exists?

Thx! it works... but very slow :| What is your computer guys? Is it lagging when you start the program? cause for me it is :|

It records at like 4 frames per second. Maybe it is because the game I want to record drains too much juice?

Hi!

I need to put in a web page a list. You know, the kind of list where you can, while holding shift or ctrl, select multiple choices? Well I want to do that. But I looked for it and it looks like it does not exist in html. Or am I wrong? I woudl like to know

And also, I'm stuck to work with ASP, but is it possible to make that list in ASP ?

Late answer, sorry, I was in vacation lol

Well I found how to do that kind of list, it really wasn't hard...

But the main problem is what neotransotaku said: How to use that in a form

If anyone has any idea, please help me! I'll continue my researches on the web...

Woohoo! I found it...

It's god damn easy :/

lets say that you have your multiple list and that you sleect many choices. It will, like XXXkeeper said, do something like

/webpage.asp?name=opt1&name=opt3&name=opt8

Then, to use it with asp and an Access Database (that's what I wanted to do) you SIMPLY hav eto do that for the SQL query:

SQLStatement = "SELECT " & Request.QueryString("name") & " FROM Table"

I hate when it's so easy that nobody knows how to use it

Thank you very much! Now I $_GET it completely

For those who say it is not secure, well, it some cases it can be a lot more secure, like in frantik's example.

Thanks again!

I'm working with Visual Basic.NET and I'd like to know how to put forms in other forms.

Example: Open Access, you can have forms in the main form.

I don't know how to explain that better But it would really help me out if anybody could tell me how you can do that...

Thx!
