| ok, in order of how i thought of them, i know most are to beyond but i might as well say them and you can say no... ok how about mini zelda worlds in other words miniature sneario based self contained zelda 'worlds' when i say worlds i mean 3/3 4/4 maps with 2-3 dungeons and unusual situations each unlocked by having diff weapon combos idn t the actual game or doing special events think zelda four swords gc. i know i know extreme asm hacking but its a suggestions so. uhm how about making it almost impossible to findto get all the items at once. like making you go through a long trading weapons prooceess to get em all. remember in la to get the boomerang? more than eight dungeons? or have all the dungeons connected in a sort of underground single contiuous labyrinth. how about have it so you have to get items in both the light world and dark world, so you cant carry items over... or another idea make it so you have to leave items somewhere, then claim them in the other world. like leave hammer in a chest and go and pick it up in a dungeon in the other world. make it so things in the dark world effect things more directly int he light world etc like pound a stake in in the light world, and that stake stays down but in that spot in the dark world a raised stake appears and vicea versa. uhm maybe have the cuccoos get attacked by enemies so that the cuccoos will attack you. and make the enemie suse bees. hehe thatt would be cool how about you can set bushes and grass on fire and it catches nearby burnable objects on fire. be able to dig up caves and such |

| wow u mean u like my ideas ahem... angelic voices* band playing* when i gave ideas before i was laughed at, my name was cursed CURSED. i swore i would get even... sorry not used to anything but loathing i thought of a few other things. how about can u change the hidden race room thing?i mean when u went from the chapel to the castle i think in a certain time? if so you could put a gountle all boss battle in there... maybe even multiple bosses at the same time?? that would be hard but sweet.... uhm how about have blocks the can break the hook shot? like if you hit this block you have to take it to get fixed for a pricey fee. maybe eliminate fairy in bottles or make the fairies a lot harder to get. make agnihim fire his shots faster and dissapear more quickly. when you fight 3, make all of the aganihms look the same so its hard to tell the diff. add some new bosses with osme asm hacking, nothing fancy but u know something origional and new. |

| ziratha the only midgit giant, at a measly 5 feet tall appears (i assume i just post to be added? if not ignore this) ziratha 5 foot is weird for a giant, but ahem* wears a cape-like clothing he once found but looks rediculous cause its actually a pair of really old pants that are ripped down the back wields whatever he can find, axes, electric razor you name it. please please please gime a electric razor!!!! likes romantic walks down beaches and eating things other people would not eat. dislikes efilumps and woosals( he has never seen ony but hears they are scary! despite my jokes im not 7 im just realllyyyy tired at the moment* ;( |

| hi , i intend to learn asm, ive gotten some faqs, and readmes from various websites but it all means zilch if i cant get to the asm, so i need a dissasembler, preferable a fairly good one at preferably compatible with snes level stuff. I then need to be able to get to the asm code. so if i need a program for that, ill need to know, aka if its a .xxx extension i need to know what opens .xxx . finally and less immediatly i need a assembler, only if the disaseembler doesn't assemble. oh, and any learning guides you all happen to know about i would appreciate. if you could even tell me the utilities you all use, that would be a start. thanks for anything you post, also if this has been covered in a post i missed, please point me to the said post. but ive only seena few passing mentions of nesdev and another site. |

ok heres some updates/ questions please dont hate me due to my obvious stupidity ![]() oi. ok update i dled a whole bunch of stuff. but so far i cant find much useful maybe due to the fact that i most of them either dont accept .nes input or dont have texts that tell how to get the dissasembler to do what i want to do, maybe i need to find the home site for the programs? i found an actual nes dissassmbler, and decided on a rom to disassemble, i dissasemmbled it and then went over to an assembler and it wouldn't assemble, i figured it would have some errors but 3000????? wow anyway i tried a snes assembler and it only got 1000 errors so...? new questions: about assembly/deassembly can i use a snes dissasmbler on a nes type file? if so, will it be able to be assembled back to the .nes format? im not entirely sure on this one. when i dissassemble something like a .nes file shouldn't it the asm file be the same size as the .nes file? cause my asm file ended up smaller... ![]() i got the snes starter kit, but am having problems with it, it wants a .obj file with my asm to compile, where/how do i get a . obj file? about asm itself if i change the asm to make it assemble thereby changing the code, and then make a asm fix/addon will this work on other copies of the rom? Because if the asm was changed due to my fixes, wouldn't that make my roms slightly differant from the origional copy? and possible cause problems patching? what the heck is the comand dc.b, i found a large number of this command in my asm code, (i think its asm, it looks like it and its .asm) but i could find no mention of this code in any of my multitude of faqs/walkthrughs so thats whats happened so far, im getting a very basic understanding of some of the commands and such . thanks again for any responses and please feal free to ridicule me for my fKitten Yiffers so far, so long as you also post somthing usefull. :-p |

| Lol sorry, if it helps, It took me almost 2 hours, it wouldn't have been so long but i havent worked with absolute values much. so it tooke me some time to see how i could manipulate them. I was able to get a vague idea of the values based on the equations, which helped a lot. my origional estimate was +/-10,2/7 but that wasn't quite right. well, hope another riddle comes soon. good luck to us both... |

| sorry if this is an old post but i know how the triangle thing works. Ignore the triangles, they are there to delude you. if you look in the first image the two sides of thetriangles define the outer edges of a rectangle. in the first picture the red triangles side touching the rectangle is 3 and the greens is 5 while in the second pic the green is 2 and the red is 8. 5*3=15 squares 6*2=16 squares. let me show you pic one %83=15 open squares * * * * * * 1 2 3 4 5 * 5 7 8 9 10 * 11 12 13 14 15 pic two 8*2=16 * * * * * * * * * 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 * 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 see the two filler blocks only take up 15 squares so an extra space is blank. |
