((Our fight must be one of the most unorthodox of all... It's like a hunt type of situation... But I'm having fun ))

Inside the sewers, squeaking rodents and running could be heard everywhere. However, there was once sound that was a bit different. It was a rusty grinding sound. A metalic creaking then followed the creaking.

"COWABUNGA!"

The startling yell caught the Jester's attention. Unfortunately, it was something that wasn't meant to be seen. A huge wave of sewer water came rushing towards the young super hero. And atop the wave, was Supa Dreamlander, balancing on a broken door.

I believe Sephiroth is the most overused name. My reasons?

  • "Badass"-type.
  • Bishounen/Pretty Boy-type
  • Final Fantasy/Mainstream Character-type.
  • "Mature" Character-type.

    I think I might've covered them all..

And as a side note, I've only seen lots of Kirby names in Kirby related boards. And even then, there's not as much Kirby names as I would expect.

I've had this name for most of my internet life.. Probably like.. six years or more.. I remember I flipped out when I saw people waltzing around with "Kirby" in their name.. I thought they were trying to steal my originality

Supa Dreamlander was having fun riding the wave, despite how toxic the water could be. The putrid surroundings didn't even ruin the fun, either. Unfortunately, the Jester's disc certainly poured rain on the parade.

The shade sporting hero was instantly encased in a block of ice, and knocked off his surfing door. Luckily for Supa, and to the Jester's dismay, the frozen hero-cicle was swept up in the murky current and washed down the rest of the watery tunnel.

Kirbynite: Hoy! I can't believe you guys all found me! Well.. I don't feel as bad anymore...

The Deku Dreamlander tried to make a happy gesture... Unfortunately, his face was still stuck with a melancholy look. The tiny dragon besides bounced on Kirby's head.

Kirbynite: What do you want? Weren't you the one that caused this mess?

    Ka'ae: I... um... I'm sorry...

    Kirbynite: Wha?

Ka'ae: Nevermind! Look, we have to follow them.

Kirbynite: "We"? I remember a certain familar's master changing my shape. I can't even puff up in this form!

Ka'ae: She changed you.. she could probably change you back, right? And besides... My brother's with her... and I can't open this door!!

The camera panned over to the big, stone door.

    Kirbynite: Alright.. fine...

    Kirbynite turns to the others.

Kirbynite: Um.. a-heh.. Yeah... It's really me, Kirby.. If you don't mind, I'm gonna go.. pursuing and such. *nod nod*

The opened door revealed a path through a hollowed out, underground tree. At the end of the path was a bigger area, with huge, dark void on the bottom. It was safe to assume this is one of those bottomless pit-types. There were gnarled roots in every direction, some going into the void, others jutting out of walls. There was a path on the other side of the pit.

Kirbynite: Anyone wanna tell me how to solve this problem?

Kirbynite stepped a bit forward, wanting to look over the edge. He walked ontop of the flower, and was immediately sucked in.

    Kirbynite: AH! GUYS!!

The Deku Dreamlander's voice was muffled as the leaves covered him up.

Kirbynite tried to figure out where his enemy was, but it was useless. All he heard was a bunch of riled up birds flying nearby. Grunting in anger, the Dreamlander got up to his feet.

Kirbynite: If he won't show, I'll have to flush him out...

The pink creature clad in Navarre Thieves' garb walked about, and then picked up a rock. His hand began to glow red. The rock was soon blessed with a firery aura. Kirbynite tossed the rock up into the air. The rock began to float in the air.

He continued to pick up random objects from the forest floor and have them float in a sphere around him.

Kirbynite: There.. I think that'd be enough to flush someone out. Hey! Mr. Opponent, dude! You better come out before something bad happens to you!

    Sheesh, so many questions

Basically, it's up to the fighters to make up those kind of rules. By default, it's more of an "anything goes" type of thing. Like.. if it's not a mentioned rule, then it could be done.

Summons and special abilites can be done as much as you like. Special abilities are things that allows people to do stuff.

The strength of the attack should be determined by how well it's described.

It's your choice if an elemental power is applicable.

You can keep challenging each other, but you had better finish your fight with that person before starting a new one. Don't start cluttering up forum with a bunch of rematches of fights that never finished.

If a thread is idle, it'll stay there until someone posts in it. However, it can be closed.

You can use existing characters if you like. And you can use original characters. Most of the people around here use original characters, or characters based off of existing characters.

It's up to you and your opponent if you want to have NPC allies, as well as summoning.

The icey spikes did a great job of cutting through the air. However, getting through the field of fire blessed objects was another story.

It's not too hard to get through the sphere, especially when the rocks were spaced pretty far from each other. It allowed the javalins to get through with little trouble, except for one. The jagged point of a slab of ice had connected with one of the blessed objects, causing a slight explosion, taking several of the other hot rocks with it. Kirbynite's attention quickly shifted in the direction of the icey attacks.

The Dreamlander performed a twisting backflip, in attempt to evade the ice. The action slows down as the camera rotated around the scene. Kirbynite grabbed one of the javalins with both his arms. Unfortunately, by doing so, his arm was slightly caught by the other frozen projectile.

Kirby fell onto the ground with a soft thud, which knocked off his concentration on the fire blessed field around him. The hot rocks were dispearsed, and sent into random directions. However, there weren't as many explosions as one would think there should've been.

    Kirbynite: Gah.. My arm...

He slides his armband a bit so that it's cover some of the bleeding.

Kirbynite: So much for that... But hey.. I've got me a nice shooting thingy.. and an idea on where he is...

Using another ability he learned from his "Hyrulian" adventures in another land, Kirbynite blessed the ice javalin with light. Light Arrows or Light anything was never really useful, but at this moment, the idea seem to be quite useful to flush someone out with an explosion of light.

Remembering where the javalins came from, Kirbynite reared his arm and launched the frozen spike, in hopes it'd land somewhere Jarukoth was.

((I bet you're kinda confused as to what's going on with my fighting ))

Melvin was knocked back as Kirbynite was shot into the air. The Deku Dreamlander was holding on to a pair of flowers, which allowed him to stay afloat in the air.

Kirbynite: Hey, look, guys! I found these inside that flower. I can float through the air again! Whee!

((*strokes beard* Nice job on paying attention to the rocks..))

    Kirbynite: You really ARE there!

The Dreamlander didn't expect to hit the original owner of the ice spikes, but it was a decent bonus. A burst of light exploded out of Jarukoth's leg, ratting out his location.

Kirbynite didn't care about the rest of his fire blessed objects being taken out by water. He just concentrated his energy into a Shadow Dive. The pink creature melted into the ground, and quickly "swam" towards Jarukoth.

Paying no attention to any possible threat, the Dreamlander leapt out of the ground. He was now infront of Jarukoth, and attempted to perform a combo on the opponent that involved several quick dagger slashes with a shoving-kick at the end.

Gooey: *still watching tv* Booo! Cheap stuff! Gooey making can better robot stuff on can!

    --------------------

After everyone made it across, Kirbynite finally stopped diving in and out of flowers and landed safely on the exit platform.

Ka'ae: I feel like I just went to a circus...

Kirbynite: Hehe.. Without a scratch! *looks to one of the corners of the platform* Eh? What's this?

There was a strange formation sticking out of the ground. It seemed to be a petrified sapling of a tree, with a very sad face carved on it.

Kirbynite: ... I feel.. very sad looking at it... I.. I want to cry..

Ka'ae: Hey! Hey! No time for crying! We're almost on the other side! Come on!

Feeling like he was dragged, Kirbynite pryed himself away from looking at the sad tree and continued onward. He stopped only to pull JDavis up onto the platform.

The next room was a twisting corridor with purple waves radiating from every direction. It didn't seem logically possible for such a sight, but it was there. Kirbynite closed his eyes and ran through. He ran along with the corkscrew path, without falling down. If down really was down, that is.

((I hope that made sense... That corkscrew thing was legit, but I threw in that purple wave stuff just to.. keep it consistant with my theories on certain things... ))

At the end of the twisted hallway, the group finally managed to reach the end. The party was greeted with sounds of gears whirring, and metallic cranking. Every footstep produced a wooden clunk.

Kirbynite: What... is this? A mill or somethin'?

A strange man instantly appears before Kirbynite, badly startling the Deku Dreamlander. The man's appearance was quite plan, except for the fact that his ears were pointy, and he had a huge backpack with masks hanging off of every nook and cranny.

    Man: Hello. How are you?

    Ka'ae: ... *quickly hides inside Kirbynite's cap*

Man: Not feeling like quite yourself? Didn't think so. Perhaps we can help each other.

    Kirbynite: Uh...

The man's expressions seem to change in an instant, as does his positions. He is now standing on Kirby's right side, with his hands in a "thinking man" position.

    Man: There was something stolen...

Kirbynite: Aha! Say no more! I'll return it, and no more worries from both of us, right?

The man quickly appears infront of Kirbynite, slightly bent over. A big smile is fixed on the unusual person's face. His hands are now cupped together, hanging infront of him.

Man: Oh! I knew you would do it!

Ka'ae: *pokes her head out of the cap*

Kirbynite: That guy seemed to have known that the ocarina that you lent me was stolen by a girl in a mask. Oh yeah.. You didn't get to see what happened, huh? There was this long, brown haired girl with some tattered clothes... And she stole everything I had in this ability..

Kirbynite points to his cap. The tiny dragon inside the cap gave Melvin a dull look.

Kirbynite: ... But I don't remember ever getting those items... So, I got stuck with this thing that's hiding in my cap and this... woody form that I can't seem to drop.
