It seemed like a wooden warp pipe. Kirby: ... I wonder... Kirby approached the structure. He looked inside and crawled in. Nakase was still flushed from the bouquet toss, but she was still in good enough condition to get back at Kirby. Nakase: Kirby, dear.. Kirby: Ok ok ok. I'll go. Oi.. | Kirbynite: Pretty sure it's just about. But, I wouldn't know, since that moon's too darned close to be giving us a proper reflective light source. It was true. There wasn't much sources of light aside from the fire and the stars in the sky. Kirbynite looked around. He heard a very faint sound. He finally caught the source. Romani crept out of her house, and cautiously walked towards the barn. Her head wandered about, almost as if she was searching for something. She held onto her little bow tightly. | Kirbynite gave Teddylot a glare from the corner of his eye. He got up to his feet and tried to wipe the grass off of him. Kirbynite: I'll pass. He walked towards the barn. Romani finally noticed Kirbynite and waved her bowless arm. Romani: Grasshopper! So you did stay. Kirbynite: Of course. And so did everyone else. You've got plenty of bodyguards. *nod* Romani: Romani is relieved! It's about time. Romani will stay with the cows. Good luck. Kirbynite: Thanks. Romani opened a barn door and entered. Kirbynite sneered. Kirbynite: Against Grays? Tch. They're gonna need luck for not being hurt too badly. |

The Dreamlander squinted his eyes to see what the source was, but the light was sucking up any possible reflections. Kirbynite: No way.... It can't possible be... one of those phatasmic ships I've heard from in those childhood stories.. |

However, he didn't realize how damaged it was, and lifted the device with too much strength. The Dreamlander was thrown off balance and fell onto his back, with the possessed Mitra zooming over him. |

| Kirbynite spun around as JDavis sped past him. Kirby stumbled around before he managed to regain himself. He looked around and noticed there were pillars of light spawning out of random places in the ranch. Kirbynite unsheathed his sword and squinted his eyes. Kirbynite: They.. don't look like Grays... | More and more balloon shaped aliens poured out of the spawning lights. There didn't seem to be a pattern to how they appeared; "They" just continued to pour out. Kirbynite gripped his sword and charged forward. He had a great deal to run since the aliens strangely were not spawning next to the barn. The figure of the intruders became more and more visible. Yellow eyes, dark bodies, poe-like figures and wardobe, and a strange, glowing, red symbol hidden under the head ornament. With a mighty swing from the pink pugilist's sword, Kirbynite lunged at one of the shadowy creatures. He landed with one hand on the ground while the arm with the sword stuck out behind him, attempting to raise his cool factor. Kirbynite: Heh...... .... wait a minute. *turns head* It didn't die? He noticed the alien continued to move. Perhaps his strike wasn't strong enough? Kirbynite: That's it. Slash N' Dash! The pink Dreamlander held out his weaponless arm and began to concentrate. A white, elemental aura started to flow out from beneath Kirbynite. He then gripped his blade with both hands and leaned forward. The aura dissipiated as his feet flew from the ground. In what seemed to be a heartbeat's moment, Kirbynite struck down the ghost-like creature while landing with another cool pose. The creature erupted in flames and quickly disintegrated. | Kirbynite: Holy cucco! Kalar! Kirbynite pulled out a star shaped object. Assuming he wouldn't be able to call down a Warp Star, he resorted to using a disposable one manufactured by his genius pal, Gooey. He tossed the object into the ground, causing a yellow puff of smoke to pour out. A star shaped object, slightly wider than Kirbynite himself, appeared. The Dreamlander hopped onto the Warp Star and pulled on one of the starry tips. Kirbynite zoomed towards Kalar, and grabbed the scythe wielder's arm. Kalar was pulled out of the tractor beam, and was released in front of the barn. Kirbynite: Looks like we can't go spawn camping. We're gonna have to avoid approaching those lights those guys are coming out of... So.. I guess we're gonna have to wait for them to get close so we can take care of them.... As he said that, he blessed his sword with fire, and swung at a nearby alien. The alien dissipitated into nothingness Kirbynite: They're not attacking us, yet they keep coming... | Kirbynite looked off to the side as he grabbed the neckershief from Teddylot. The silence was broken by Jack attempting to apologize. Jack: Kirb.. The ranch.. Kirbynite: Nah nah. It's alright, man. It's best this way. A bit more silence. Kirbynite: Um.. Jack. The present's upstairs. Jack: Guess I'll go and pick it up. Haruko: I'll come too.  Kirbynite: Oh! Bring Gutsman with you when you go inside. I'm sure that'll cheer Lucca up. Kirbynite looked around as the shuffling around occured. Kirbynite: Suppose this would be a decent time for us to just talk while the Chosen's sitll here. Kirbynite continued to look around. He saw Fem, Janus, Mr. Gun... And he noticed Marina was standing next to his father's grave. Kirbynite: *snorts* I can't believe they hired both of the mercenaries. Kirby's eyes then moved onto Teddylot and Zap. | Kirbynite: ... Whoa! Wait! What?! The little pink creature zoned out for most of the story. He snapped out of it when he heard his name mentioned. Kirbynite stared at his unusual looking weapon. Kirbynite: So... Um... I have to seal it up with this? And it should prevent any bad stuff and probably those weird dark things from appearing, right? Now.. how.. do I seal it.. He approached the fountain with caution. It looked quite similar to the one he saw back in his home world... All of a sudden, the Star Rod began to shake violently. Kirbynite used both of his hands to control the rod, but it started to drag him around. Even after falling into the fountain, he continued to hold on tightly. A beam of light shot out and pierced the center stone. The stone began to hum and its color started to change. The hue of the reflected water shifted to a more warmer tone. A spout of water spewed out of the star shaped stone. Kirbynite stared at the stone as he stumbled out of the fountain. Kirbynite: If that's how its gonna be everytime we run into one of these things, I'm gonna have to remember to remove any water damagable goods... Can... we continue searching for our friends now..? |

| "Oh la la... And what iz zis we have here, hm?" As Kirby got up to his feet, he noticed the femme figure lurking in the shadows. It appeared to be a female jester; she wore a red jester's hat that seemed to be modified to be a hood with white puffy balls over where the ears should be; her upperbody was garbed with a blue-and-red, skintight material; her lower body consisted of a blue, translucent, parachute-like pants; her hands and feet were both wearing red gloves and red jester boots, respectively. Kirby: Um... Harle: Bonjour! Je m'appelle Harle. I am ze right hand harlequin of... Oh, non non non. I cannot tell you such a t'ing! *steps up closely to Kirby* Oh, you are such a magnificent specimen. Kirby: Um.... L-lady.. Harle: You can have ze rest of ze goodiez. I have what I wanted. Harle bows as she waves a shiney badge before her. She stands upright, and then jumps up to the nearby hole in the wall. Harle: Au revoir! Kirby: ... Harle: Oh! I have forgotten! Kirby: Is that... a script in your-- Harle lunged at Kirby, quickly giving him a peck on his cheek. Before Kirby had any way of retaliating with his sharpened paper, Harle leapt out the hole in the wall. Kirby: ... Can someone tell me what had just happened? |
