I have another announcement about the SF awards.. Since the SF community is quite smaller than.. the rest of the board.. I'll be willing to draw up the award scenes. Yes, that's right. If you win an award, you get your mug drawn and holding up a Dani. That should make the Danis more interesting... |

Kirbynite: Not really. She told me that it'll help me look for them. I think it's supposed to make a sound, or something... Ka'ae: ... Mask... She uses the power of that mask to do such terrible things.. Kirbynite: Huh? Ka'ae: I was just remembering what my brother said. The swamp, mountains, ocean, and canyon.... I bet he was telling us about the four areas on the outside of this town. But what did he mean about "Them"? I swear.. that little brat likes to skip on details.. Kirbynite was calming down a bit as he tried to figure out what to do. This all seemed very familar to him, but he still doesn't know why. Kirbynite: Maybe we should.. go look for who your brother was talking about. It's quite apparent that we're gonna be stuck in this land, and we're not gonna have enough time to prepare a real attack on the girl normally. Ka'ae: How about we go to the swamp? Kirbynite let out a little sigh as he walked towards the town center. He knew something was familar about this town he was in. But was it only familar because it was built in similar fashion to-- Kirbynite: Wait! I got it! They've got to have people shipping in stuff, right? We walked all over this town before, and it was obvious that they can't supply themselves with stuff like vegetables and milk. Maybe we could bum a ride with one of the shippers? Continuing with his flow of thinking, the Dreamlander walked up to one of the nearby carpenters. Kirbynite: Excuse me.. Mister? Carpenter: Sorry, kid. I'm a bit busy. Kirbynite: Er.. sorry... Not ready to give up, Kirby decides to ask the head carpenter. Kirbynite: Excuse me, Mister.. Carpenter Boss: Kaaaaaaah! Kirbynite: .. Carpenter Boss: I bet you're thinking I'm not busy. Well, you're wrong! I'm supervising the construction, here. Kirbynite: .... But.. yeah, as I was saying.. Carpenter Boss: ... Kirbynite: Do you know of anyone with a ride that leaves and comes to this town soon? Carpenter Boss: Hm.. *scratches head* You know, I know that Romani Ranch should be delivering some milk to the Milk Bar.. That'll be tomorrow evening. Kirbynite: Argh.. that's not gonna do it. Thanks anyway. The pink creature slouches forward as he walked back to the others. Kirbynite: Alright.. I've got one last plan. Someone wears the Deku Mask, and I can carry him on my back. *dull look* I don't have a lot of energy to use, so I can't pull that same stunt I did back in the SF Survivor, but I'm still the fastest. Me and the one with the Deku mask can move on ahead. Or we can steal some wood from the carpenters and make a cheap wagon.

Hikari slowly stopped her glaring after a minute or so. She began to look at the slowly diminishing Windfall Island. There wasn't a lot to look around in the vast ocean but a few seagulls and random fishes jumping about. Hikari: So... how long 'till we get there? Farid: I fergot. S'been ages since I've been there....

Hikari reached into her green cap, and pulled out some pellets. She chucked the tiny bits of food at the head of the boat, which just bounced off into the water. Hikari: OH NO! WHAT DID I JUST DO?! Almost as quick as lightning, Hikari pounced at the mast base. She slammed her stubby arm onto a button, which closed retracted the sails. The boat began to slow down. Hikari: No no no no! I can't believe I just tossed out the only food we had! A dark spot slowly took form underneath the floating pellets. Hikari's hair stood on end as she watched all of the food disappear under the water's surface. The round girl planted her forehead on the side of the boat. Hikari: ... I'm hungry.

Hikari: .. This is Jargon's friend? An ugly fish that can paint? Farid: I've heard about these things.. Very useful ta sailors who often become lost at sea. Hikari: Whatever. It ate my food. And that thing doesn't look so appetizing... Farid made his way through the crowded boat and sat beside Hikari. He pulled on his shirt and began rummaging inside of the material. He pulled out what seemed to be an aged, rolled up parchment. He pulls off a ribbon and opens it up. Hikari: What's with all those random scribbles? Farid: S'posed ta be a map.. Never any good with locations.... *holds out the map*

Ka'ae: We are dragons! Dragons! Kirbynite: *sweatdrop* Uh.. well.. What about we just split up, then? You guys can go talking with the townsfolk, looking for information, while I go on ahead. I can look for Romani Ranch. If it's got ranch in the name, they're bound to have some animals we can ride. Maybe I can cut a deal with them. If not.. I'll go snooping around in the swamp. I mean.. I really think one of us should be atleast looking for information over there.

The Dreamlander looks at the southern exit. The soldier standing guard stares back at Kirby. Kirbynite: Guys.. I think I want to head to Romani Ranch first. Maybe the answer to why everything seems so familar to me might be there.

--------------------- Kirby stared at the man, who didn't seem to move any closer to the center of the arena. The blue scaled dragon lowered his head as he watched a cane being raised, followed by some muttering. A spell must be coming his way, but what kind? Just then, a translucent ball shot out of the cane. Defying what most people believe a slow beast, Kirby shifted his weight to the left and hopped. Kirby: ~Come! We must give the audience a show!~ With his red mane trailing behind, Kirby leaned forward and began to gallop his way to Colonel Wellington. His throat swelled briefly before he spewed out a mess of fire.
