((Ah.. and does that clarify the reason why you didn't progress the story  ))Kirby: Alrighty.. *cracks knuckles* If we gotta go through a gauntlet, let it be. Kirby charges forward, lunging at the closest koopa. Kirby: Gack, sorry, Troy. With a little sweatdrop, Kirby puts down the Offline Trance stricken koopa. He turns his head and glares at a nearby, shade wearing koopa. The koopa runs at Kirby, and hides in his shell. Kirby jumps into the air, and stomps on the koopa shell. The koopa inside gets forced out. Shell-less Koopa: Hey! It's cold! Kirby: Wow.. Um.. Nice peach printed boxers. Kirby returns the shell back to the owner, with a forceful kick. The koopa gets knocked off the walkway. A roaring applause greets Kirby''s attack. Kirby: What the... 'ey.. since when did we get an audience? The spikey headed man turns his head and notices that there are a few toads and goombas sitting on fold-up chairs. Some toads are eating popcorn. |

Kirby notices the rest of the koopas have taken noticed and started marching towards the group. The spikey headed lad proceeds to roll up his sleeves. Kirby: Well.. since there's a dragon here.. and dragons have been known to capture princesses or damsels and such.. And Schala fits both. *holds out his right arm and points at the koopas* Meaning none of you are going to stop me from saving Schala! He leans forward, and begins to charge towards the koopa troop. He hops a bit into the air and lands on the ground, attempting to slide through the koopas. Unfortunately, Kirby didn't realize how much it'd hurt to hop into a slide on a stone floor. Kirby: Owie... I wasn't prepared for that... Gack! Kirby was sitting on the floor, cringing from the pain his butt suffered. The koopas immediately took advantage and dogpiled Kirby Kirby: Hey! Get your hands off me your darn, dirty turtles!

Alrighty, here we go. I've had that problem before, and in different variations. This one black controller I got was constantly being registered as "tilted" when the 'Cube starts up. The way I fixed that was just hold down X+Y+Start for three seconds. |
The other variation I had was the 'Cube thinking I'm still holding a certain direction when I'm not really. Me and Sion found out how to fix it.. you just constantly rotate the stick quickly, and blow into it, hard. I'm guessing there was dust that got in there. As soon as we did that, all of our controllers were magically working like brand new, even the controller I had gotten with the Gamecube. Our true gaming experience was resurrected. .... Unless when you mean that the control stick is literally stuck in the position inside the game pad. If that's the case, I'd say there's some sticky gunk stuck inside, or something's broken inside of it.

The spikey headed lad coughs out a puff of smoke. He performs a windmill kick, spinning his lower body with flailing legs. A bunch of "2"'s appear from the remaining koopas. He then plants his hands firmly on the stone floor and launches himself into the air. He performs one somersault and lands closer to the tall tower. Some Toads and Goombas join Teddylot in the seats nearby. Kirby: *pant pant* .. Well, that atleast knocked them unconcious.. Alright, I'm gonna go inside the tower. Nothing's stopping me!

Just then, a very large beam of light shot through the roof and straight through the floor. Kirbynite barely managed to avoid being hit by the light. Supa Dreamlander: Whoa! Hey, Tux Mel.. is one of your laser satelites going haywire again? A very strong laughter echoed from way above the Channel Six building. It sounded a bit deeper than the familar laughter some of the people in the area knew. "Kyaaa hahahaha!"

A slightly melancholy Dreamlander decends onto the center of the arena on his Warp Star. The glowing vehicle's luminance is drowned out by the flood lights set up in the arena. Night time was always a fun time to have an event. Kirbynite hopped off the Warp Star. He took out his Star Rod from the yellow backpack on his back, and twirled it around. He jammed the star tipped weapon into the ground, and proceeded to fix his red cap. "Well.. I hope this place still has that random field generator.. I already don't like this cement.."

Kirby climbed over the random pieces of junk laid across the dhingy sized "ship". He aimed the cannon at the ferocious beast and pulled hard on the cord attatched to the cannon. Fwoom. Kirby: Fwoom? This is an air cannon? Argh. Maybe I can toss this thing on its head. ------------ "Hey, let me see! What's going on?" "Stop moving like that! You're going to make me lose my balance!" Ka'nae struggled to poke his head out from under Nakase's cloak. The girl was trying very hard to keep the little dragon hidden, while keeping an eye on what should have been a creature from the sea. One good smack from one of the tentacles, and the boat will go down. She must stay on her toes. SPLASH! The hard splashing sound next to the edgy Nakase was enough to make her jump off the boat. She frantically flailed her arms, trying her best to stay above the water. Unfortunately, her large robes were giving her a hard time, as they were already weighing her down as she tried to get out of the murky drink. -------------- Kirby: Ugh... that thing was so heavy.. I couldn't toss it far enough... Ahoy! Lass over-- Holy cucco, what am I doing? Teddylot! Quick! Do you have anything to hit that squid with?! There's someone in the water! Hurry before it's too late! Coo: I say! The bugger has already spotted her! --------------- The kraken already locked its eyes on the unfortunate girl. It shot out one of its long appendages over to Nakase. Unable to control herself, she began to sink into the water. She soon felt pressure wrapped around her wasit. Ka'nae was caught within the grasp, underneath all the robes. Nakase dug her nails into the tentacle, but the squid didn't even flinch. She was pulled out of the water and hoisted into the air. All of the children around were too shocked to even scream. Wasn't there someone who could save her? A hero among the annoying brats? The next thing brunette knew, she was sitting back on her boat. She opened her eyes, wiping away the water on her face. Ka'nae managed to poke his head out through the neck opening, and began wheezing for air. "Nakase! Are we alright?" The girl turned her head to look at the squid. The same tentacle that grabbed her was now patting her head. The squid retracted its tentacle and began to sink back into the depths. -------------------------- Kirby's jaw was left hanging. Kirby: ..... Welcome to Hogwarts
