| ((Holy cucco... So many characters... I need to make sure I keep this thing active...)) Kirby's attention was obtained even more when a black key bounced off of his head. Kirby: *scratches his head* Man, this day is just full of weirdoes. The adventurer tilted his head and raised an eyebrow as he fixed his sights on the middle-aged man. He was sure that wasn't Gyromite. However, the man might know of the where-abouts of the Professor. Kirby: Hey... Have you seen.. Wait a minute... There's a path around this wall behind me... *picks up the black key* I guess that could mean he's there.... Er.. pardon me *looks at the man again* Have you seen an old man go by here? Or better yet.. have you seen a beautiful, blue haired girl in a blue dress? ((I said it once and I'll say it again.. Deciding not to think too much of it, Kirby decided to go through the path that led around the wall. Carefully avoiding some unusual spinning monsters with teeth that'd make Goofy feel at home, the adventurer found his way to another flight of stairs. | ((I'm sorry, JDavis.... )) After what seemed like ages, the group finally materialized after stepping on the teleportation device. The circular room everyone appears in is completely closed off except for some windows scattered here and there. In the center of the room lies an unusual piece of architecture. An orb is glowing in the center of the it. Marina: So.. this must be the altar room? Haruko: Yes. Kirbynite: That shining thing over there must be the Cruxis Crystal, right? Haruko: That's right. They say I was born with that in my hand! Jack: Look at that light! A beam of light pierces through the ceiling, and shines down the center of the room. A bright orb floats down the light tube. Abusing the special effects budget, the orb of light explodes with a near blinding flash. A figure slowly appears as the flash fades away. Kirbynite: Wh...what is that? The figure's details soon begin to appear; a blonde haired man, garbed in a green, clerical design. However, the most notable feature about this person is that he has feather wings flapping behind him. |

| Kirbynite quickly rushes around, finishing up the the designs for the brand new opening. He didn't really build anything, he just kinda reserved the Acmlm Board Building's cafeteria. It wasn't much, but it was something. Kirbynite: Alright... all done. *steps near an intercom and presses a button* According all fighters. The Sim-Battle Auditorium and Cafeteria is now open. This is a place where members come to discuss events and exchange ideas. Credit is given to Dracoon, for the idea. |

| Kirby fell down every single step, bouncing off of his butt until he reached the bottom. It was quite safe to say that his own bottom wasn't too thrilled. Kirby: Owwwww.... That.. wasn't fun... Kirby was, once again, stuck with a dilemma. His chance to finally be with Schala again was close. He could feel it. Unfortunately, he couldn't detect how close. It was almost similar to the same feeling he had for months. Except, for the fact that it was just completely gone at that time. Something else had filled the void, something obviously better. Something... What the heck? Why are my thoughts spitting out random stuff like this?" Kirby: Darnit! I'm going insane. My mind's sloshing around with the narration. I.. need to make it go away.. I need to drive the insanity away.. And I'm not gonna let an earthquake get in my way.. or even some kinda drilling machine that reminds me of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Kirby forced himself to ignore the noise back over at the giant yellow block, and started walking up the stairs. ((Ooooh.. I had a strong urge to throw in a cameo from Paper Mario 1 with my last comment, but I resisted... Too many characters, too much chaos. Gotta wait after the prologue *nods*)) |

I'd... like to give a formal apology and confession to everyone... About the last tournament... The pink dreamlander fidgeted as he stood in the center of the cafeteria. He thought his voice would be drowned out by all the chattering and munching. He still prefered to say something. Kirbynite: My mind and I was kinda lost during the fights and judging periods of the second round.... I had gotten word that my home, the floating island Neo Grape Gardens, was being hit by some strong twisters and hurricanes. My crops were, once again, destroyed before they could even produce anything. Some other stuff, like school and work, which I have to do thanks to the Men in Black, bombarded me with surprises.. I didn't have any energy or motivation to keep up in the fights and judging period... Kirby looked at the ground and sighed. Kirbynite: So.. yeah.. I'm sorry... I know I could've.. but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I wouldn't mind judging again, if you guys forgive me.. Then again, I very much prefer to fight... |

| Kirby: Wha-wha? I thought you heard this chest talking! Black Chest: You already have the key? Oh! Please! Kirby: Ok ok.. Kirby steps closer to the black chest and puts the key inside the keyhole. The chest explodes as the entire room goes black. Horror-fying organ music begins to play as a pair of glowing eyes and sharp teeth emerge from the center of the darkness. "Thank you. MWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! You fools!!!! I tricked you into letting me out. Suffer the rage that has been built up inside this tiny box. I'm gonna inflict a scary, frightening curse upon you!" Thee blinding flashes strike Kirby. The spikey headed lad begins to take several steps backwards, completely confused at what was going on. "You are now cursed. Since I feel a slight bit sorry for you, I'll tell you what I did. When you have paper on you, the curse will let you turn that piece of paper into a... PAPER AIRPLANE! Do you understand the scariness of this curse?!" Right now, Kirby has just about the most dullest look ever. Kirby: .. Um.. yeah? The darkness vanishes, leaving only the black chest. Kirby looks around the room. The dark spirit was gone. Kirby turns his head and looks at his companions for some kind of grip on sanity. |
