| Rick: .... Hey.. um.. dorks. They're in Rogueport. It's known to be a town full of outlaws, pirates, mob bosses, and other no-good-doers. Though, I'm sure that's not gonna turn you away. -------------------- Lord Crump: Do you think you can just brush us aside like that? X-NAUTS! ASSEMBLEEEE! Kirby: ... Um.. what? Everything went quiet. The nearby pirates just stared at the tall reploid. All of a sudden, the ground began to shake. Gims crawled out of every nook and cranny; underneath crates, out of the water, even out of a nearby red Koopa's shell. (Don't ask) All of the Gims surrounded Kirby, Jack, and Fem (some Gims even ignored the fact that they're standing ontop of a teddybear). All of the Gims had their eyes locked on the trio. Lord Crump: Now! All at once, the X-Nauts began to dogpile the center. Kirby immediately freaked out and lunged through some of the X-Nauts, hoping he'd sneak away without the Gims or Lord Crump noticing. |

| Kirby: ... such a show off... Kirby spots a brick staircase that leads to the town center. Schala would most likely be there. And the Gims would be too busy to notice him running off. Unfortunately, a giant, green rat blocked his way. Kirby: Erm... hey... can you.. move, please? Rat: Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bother you with my troubles? Kirby: Huh? Um... Troubles? You're standing in my way... Rat: It's just that.... I have a dream to strike it rich. Yeah, I know it sounds like one of those get rich quick schemes, but I'm gonna do it, I tell you, I'm gonna do it. Kirby: *looks behind* Yeah... that's great. Try to reach for your goal, and such. Could you.. um.. Rat: It's very hard, though.. But I will prevail! But... As pathetic as it may be... I'm broke. Dry Dry Desert is-- Kirby: *hands the rat a handful of Dreamlander Star Points* Here, now, please let me through, toll man. Rat: Really? Is this for me?! Oh, why thank you, stranger. What is your name? Kirby: It's Kirby. Kirby Neo Nite. Now, please.. The rat starts dancing around. Kirby takes the opportunity to dash past the rat and runs up the flight of stairs. Kirby: Man, I thought I'd never get past him.... |

The spikey headed lad felt naucious. Kirby: ... Not only did I lose the Gims, but I lost Fem and Jack... Great.... What's this? Kirby looked ahead and watched the Gemini Twins and what seemed like an anthromorphic Raichu squaring off. All of a sudden, the Raichu fell to the ground. Going against common sense, the adventurer approached them. Kirby: Hey.. um.... Have any of you seen a blue haired woman wearing a blue dress? ((I feel like I'm playing Shenmue  )) |

| Kirby: W-whoa! The red haired lad approached Siryx during the pleas for help. He was thoroughly freaked out at the sight of blood. The locals didn't seem to care at all, however. Fortunately for the entire populous, Kirby had gotten a little too close when Siryx released a rush of evil energy. Held up his arms, attempting to block off the energy. Kirby's blue cap was immediately burned up, while his clothes slowly followed suit. The adventurer fell backwards, while raising both of his legs. The entire mass of evil energy was shot off into the air. Kirby: *pant pant* Holy cucco.... This place ain't safe for Schala... He slowly got back onto his feet, dusting himself off. He was a bit sad because his cap was completely gone. Atleast he still had his blue bandana. He still had all of his clothes, the blue jacket, the white t-shirt, the blue jeans and the black boots, but they were given bad tears and scorch marks. Kirby: Hey! *shaking fist* Knock it off! You could hurt someone!! ---------------------------- Meanwhile.... On Neo Grape Gardens Rick: ... Are you two just gonna sit in there and-- WHOA! The form a crowd around the lanky reploid. Lord Crump: You! Gim Johnson! Did you see where they went? Random X-Naut 2: ... Um... Lord Crump: Idiots! What a waste.... With blue, flowing hair, and wearing a beautifully blue dress? Kirby's smile slowly waned as Troy didn't seem to give him an answer. Something was wrong. | Kirby's jaws locked into place. His only lead to Schala had just ran across the street and down a rusty pipe. Kirby: Hey! What's the big idea!? The spikey headed adventurer grabbed his map off of the desk. Kirby then ran out the exit, nearly running over Grey. He skidded to a halt before reaching the pipe. Kirby: ... *peers over* Pinooochiooooooooo! .... Ahem... Well, I've never really done the whole pipe warping thing... Kirby leapt inside the tubingd, not caring about leaving everyone behind nor what was waiting for him on the other side. In a few seconds, Kirby slid out the other end of the pipe. Kirby: It's a sewer.... Geeze, how typical... |

The sewers seemed a bit cleaner than the world above. Infact, the floor seems to consist of concrete and marble. There was still disgusting water rushing about, but it seemed a bit odd to him. | The dark red haired lad continued to examine the area. He hopped down the flight of stairs, still looking for Professor Gyromite. In his search, however, Kirby finds a trio of Goombas. One of the Goombas had a spiked hat, and another was actually a Paragoomba. Kirby: Hey, shorty. *looking at the spiked Goomba* Have you seen an old man run by here? Spiked Goomba: Shorty?! Think you can trip in our pad like that? Goomba: What you gettin' worked up for? Your name is Shorty. Shorty: Yeah, well, I don't like how this punk be coming in here thinking he be king of the Undaworld Kirby: As much as I don't mind you guys filling up my post with your useless banter, could you just tell me where to find the old man? Shorty: Punk! Who you think you are? Kirby: Um.. I think I'm Kirby Neo Nite.. Would you like my resume? Shorty: .... Grrrr! The spike topped Goomba lunged towards Kirby, spike first, of course. However, Kirby anticipated the attack and performed his own counter. The adventurer twisted his upper body to the left. He then spun around as he hopped into the air. Kirby's Hurricane Kick knocked Shorty into a nearby pit, easily putting him to shame. Goomba: ... Um... He went over to that pipe, the one behind the rusty fences. Kirby: Thank you. |

| Kirby made his way over to the pipe, the only pipe that seems to be in his range, at the moment. He looked inside of the green plumbing, cringing at what could possibly lie inside. Kirby: The things I do.... And with that, Kirby dove into the pipe, feet first, of course. The spikey headed lad gave out a shout as he slid down the pipe. There was a bit of a horizontal slant as he rolled out the end of the pipe. He continued to roll and roll until he hit a wall. Kirby: Ow! Argh... I don't know how Mario can travel through pipes... It's very painful... Hm.. Now where the heck am I? I feel like I stepped into some kinda lost civilization. There's some more marble and concrete... Guess there's some wallpaper... What's this now? A strange grey crature, about a foot high, stared at Kirby. It had tiny stick-like legs, two large eyes, and a glowing ball at the end of its antennae. Kirby took a step forward, and the creature dashed off into a nearby hole in the wall. Kirby: Ugh... well.. whatever... Hm.. Where could that old man run off to? |
