((Sorry sorry sorry  ))Several minutes later, after the Jester's long trek, he came to a splitting path. Obviously, a forked path was going to cause problems. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on the way one would look at it, there was a loud crunching noise coming from the left path. The sound kept on crunching and crunching, until it just suddenly stopped. A moment later, there was a loud "Hiya!", echoing through the murky sewers. This should've definitely caught Jest's attention. Especially since a very large sewer gator was speeding through the water, with Supa Dreamlander riding on top of it. The carnivorous reptile leapt out of the water, and lunged towards the Jester, with its mouth wide open. |

I thought that masked child was helping me, and I grew careless. I am ever grateful to you all." Kirbynite slowly steps towards the Great Fairy. He shrugs for a moment. Kirbynite: .. Um... Well.. you think you can tell us where the girl is? "The man who lives in the observatory outside of town may know of the masked child's whereabouts. But be careful! I shall give you more help. Kirbynite: *turns around a bit* Hm? Oh.. Um... Alright.. I guess. Once again, thanks for telling us where to look! Something goes across Kirby's mind. Something is slightly troubling him. He once again turns around to face Melvin. Kirbynite: Err... Melvin.. I've seen the Masked Girl. She seemed kinda developed. Most adults consider teenagers to be children, y'know. |

| Finally. After two months I managed to finish this thing. You may take a look at the layout, and say something like "This is two months? I would've expected better!" You won't believe the amount of distractions I've had. Work, trips, IMs, games, etc. Now, I just kinda.. "spat" out a layout. I had already lost the Wind Waker taste in my mouth, but I didn't want to let all this sprite work go to waste.. Anyway.. Onto explaining stuff. Aside from the characters and text box, everything was made from scratch. Yes, even the boat  The text box was from Four Swords, and all of the sprites were edited from the Secret of Mana heros (even the creampuff and bear at the top were edited from a SoM sprite )The characters all around the layout are from a Wind Waker parody, the Zephyr Rouser. At the top, we have Hikari (my character) and Teddy (Teddylot's character). At the bottom, from left to right, we have Jargon/King of Red Lions (Moble Sprout's character), Brer (SomerZ's character), Mint (Adamant's character), JDavis (JDavis' character ), Farid (Nakase's character), and Ed (Melvin's character)Ed wasn't in the actual story, but I thought it'd be a silly cameo.  ;Oh yeah, that's Hikari and Farid on my user picture, and Tingle's invading my little computer. Edit: Argh.. I'm too tired and sleepy. I just realized that I forgot to put in the speech bubbles and text. Mint was supposed to be complaining about how the salt water is messing with her hair, and Farid was supposed to be yelling at Ed for stealing their bait. | A smile ran across Kirbynite's face. There was still some silliness left around in such a serious time. As soon as everyone was done shifting into the next room (Luigi: Mama mia! Couldn't you have waited for us to get-a ready, Smithy?), Kirbynite began scanning the surroundings. There were a lot of ladders, as well as beds of spikes scattered across the floor. Kirbynite: I'm curious.. *looks at Quint* Is this meant to be a dangerous shortcut, or does your dad have a twisted idea of a path to his own room? |

((Sorry about not posting here   I had kinda forgotten about it, and at the same time, I just never got around to posting here. And I also had a dilemma... post here, or revive the Wind Waker parody... So.. I thought I should do something productive first ))Kirbynite's instinct kicked in at the sight of small projectiles flying towards him. His mouth opened up, and began to inhale. Clumps of dirt, leaves from bushes, and the shuriken themselves were being sucked into the void of Kirbynite's gut. He then stopped inhaling when he thought the barage was over. In the next second, the Dreamlander was flung into the air by the flurry of shadow duplicated shurikens. One of his wristbands were torn off, and a shuriken was lodged on his shoulder. Kirby kept his mouth shut as he hit the ground. Instead of laying on the ground, he rolled backwards, right into a tree. The pink creature closed his eyes, and started to think. He decided to use a move he had recently seen, and in a slight way, mimicking Jarukoth's attack. Before he did anything, Kirby quickly reached into his pouch, and clicked a button on object inside. Kirbynite: Can't believe I forgot about the Star Charge Blast. Anyway... After finally pulling out the shuriken on his shoulder, Kirbynite launched himself off of the tree's trunk. He put his stubby arms together, and blurted out a phrase. Kirbynite: Kage Bushin no Jutsu! At that moment, Kirbynite became a Dreamlander times five. All at once, the quintople fighters opened their eyes. In an unusual display of timing, the Kirbynites tossed their bloody shurikens at Jarukoth at the same time. However, their barage didn't end there. Each of them still had the shurikens that was inhaled by the original Dreamlander. And each of them shot out all of the ninja stars at once. The previous wave of shurikens were knocked off course by the fired projectiles. In a blink of an eye, all of the Kirbynite shadow clones disappeared. Kirbynite: *lands on the ground* ... Aw man, that was almost a waste... Despite that, the shurikens continued slicing through the air, seeking out its target.. |

| The Story Forum is meant to be a role playing forum. The Modern Art Forum is where you put in these kinda stories. Personally, I think its best if you actually come up with a story, work out the words and such, and then post it, instead of just typing random ideas. Then again, that's just me. *shrugs* Oh, and that's improper usage of a dwagon *summons Bahamut, and scares the thread into the Modern Art Forum* |

| The sound of a galloping horse can be heard echoing throughout the area. A loud "Whoa!" causes the galloping to cease. The camera pans over to a mighty warrior, who was scanning the area while sitting upon his mighty steed. The warrior leaps off the horse, and falls flat on his face. Kirbynite: Geeze, this sword's a lot heavier than I realized it. Kirbynite decided to ditch his weapon and just take part in the Squares Game. He stepped forward to see.. Kirbynite: I'll pick numbah thre-- What?!? No more squares? Argh.. Oh well.. I'll just wait until the next level.. ((OoC: I was told that I could join like this. If I can't.. I'm going after Teddylot with that sword )) |

| Kirbynite jumps for joy at his prize, but then he hears a growling in the distance. A monster is lurking in the midst. He shakes his arms, preparing himself for combat. The mighty warrior lunges towards the nearby monster. He then speeds past the monster and lands on square 12 Kirbynite: What? You thought I was gonna take him on? | A ferocious beast lunges at the red capped warrior. Kirbynite was unable to stop himself, and was caught in the monster's vicious attack. Kirbynite: Ack! Get that slime off of me!!! Deciding that being a coward is worth the ridicule, Kirbynite quickly pulls out a cloak from his backpack. He kicks himself away from the monster and gains some distance. He pulls the cloak over himself, causing his entire body to disappear. The warrior remains motionless. Kirbynite: Argh.. I can't believe I've gotta sit this turn out... |

| ((Well.. finally decided to revive this thing... I hope there'll be some activity.. and maybe some new people. As a sidenote to new people.. this is a Wind Waker parody. You don't really need knowledge of the game.. You just need to know that this story is set in a split alternate universe, several centuries in the future. Next Generation SF and such. Important - We've had enough people joining in by implying he/she was with us the entire time. I'm sure that Captain Tetra would've drawn the line to having that many people board her ship ; Just please try to come up with something else ))Incase some of you missed out on the great intro.. *pulls out a record player, and puts in a record labeled "The Legendary Hero"*       A lot has happened since the beginning of the tale of the Zephyr Rouser. The celebration of children coming of age on Outset Island, where some children were obligated to wear the clothes of the heros of the past, even though some had birthdays in another month. OoC Hikari : I'm blaming Grandma for that. And JD's mom, too. Yep yep. The celebration was interupted by canonfire. A pirateship was chasing down something in the air. A while later, a girl with blonde hair was dropped into a nearby forest by what seemed to be an extinct beast. OoC Hikari : "Holy cucco" indeed. *nod nod* Twas a blue, flying chicken. And I'll calls him "Cojiro". Hikari, a small, round creature, with red hair and purple skin, went off to seek the girl. She was accompanied by her friends, Mint, Brer, JDavis, and others, as well as an old man that lives by the forest. The group discovered Bokoblins lurking inside of the forest, and quickly dispatched them, with the aid of Hikari's teddybear and the teddybear's hungry goat. The blonde girl was found out to be a pirate captain by the name of Tetra. Everyone left the forest, only to see Hikari's sister, Marin, being whisked away by Tetra's kidnapper. Quickly afterwards, Jack, a Rito postal worker, told Tetra to give the islanders a ride to the bird's nest at Forsaken Fortress. Tetra tried to resist, but guilt of the kidnapping being her fault overcame her. After Hikari received the Hero Bow, her family's hierloom, the islanders boarded the pirate ship. While everyone was getting used to their sea legs, old man Jargon was stirring up trouble with some troublesome sailors. Jargon proved to be an excellent fighter, unfortunately, no one really saw him in action. Later, Tetra ordered Hikari and JDavis to go below deck to be toughened up. They met Niko, a swabbie that seems to be stuck cleaning underwear and scrubbing the deck for the rest of his pirate life. Niko attempted to show the two some swashbuckling, but Hikari didn't seem amused. Meanwhile, a stowaway on the ship finally emerged out of barrel by the allure of a shiny dagger. The boy, Farid, heard voices nearby, and decided to check it out. OoC Hikari : And the sad truth is that he seems more swashbuckling than all of the mounds of muscle on this ship has. *quick sigh* Jargon was below deck, and was once again facing off with the same troublesome pirates. After giving them a good scare, Jargon decided to go back above deck. The angry sailors decided to pull a prank on the old man. They all rushed towards him and pushed him off board. One of the sailors tripped over the stowaway, and became slightly distracted. A few moments later, the entire ship realized something. The old man was nowhere to be seen on the sea's surface. Tetra was quite infuriated, and the islanders' hopes seemed to have decreased. Farid was discovered, but he was left alone. A man, who seemed to have pumped his ego into his multi-gallon hat, boarded the pirateship. The pirates found his attempts to arrest them to be funny. Unfortunately for the man, he was quickly tied up, and loaded onto a catapult. The first mate, Gonzo, brought up an interesting topic. How would the islanders reach Forsaken Fortress without having the pirateship being shot down by the massive cannons? Being the cunning pirate captain that she is, Tetra decided to load up all of the islanders, as well as the stowaway, onto the catapult. OoC Hikari : I wasn't really thrilled about that. *nod nod* ----------- The catapult was launched before anymore objections were heard. The entire group soon found themselves kissing the fortress walls. All of their weaponry was knocked out of their grasps, thanks to the impact. Gravity finally set in, afterwards. Everyone fell into a moat in the fortress's innerwalls. It was safe to say that they were inside. Getting out would be a story left for another time. Hikari: *spits out water as she breaks through the surface* Gah.. What a bunch of psycho pirates! Hikari looked around her. The fortress was just huge, and seemed to be a mixture of high technology, and low technology. There were spotlights moving about in a pattern, making sure no one would try to break in or out. A spotlight was mounted on each corner of the castle. And on each corner, a tower was situated. One of the towers seemed like the perfect spot to be a jail, with the barred holes. On the north side of the Forsaken Fortress, loomed a great tower. Hikari assumed this was where the base of operations were. Attached to the great tower was a nest. "That's were Marin should be..", thought Hikari. Kirbynite: Zex.. The pink creature gripped onto the nearest ladder, and began climbing it. He leapt onto another ladder, and continued on with the insane pathway. |

| Kirbynite: ... I'm tired of just sitting here doing nothing, hiding from a little slime. I need to take the initiative. I need to... I need to force people to help me out.. Kirbynite takes out a Gameboy Advanced SP, and turns it on. The glow of the screen is still invisible to Kirbynite's attacker. The red capped warrior examine's the screen, searching for the location of the other treasure hunters. Kirbynite: Aha... Perfect, there's two people there already. Kirbynite removes his cloak, and proceeds to taunt the slime. Kirbynite: Hey, freak! Come an' get me! After gaining the ferocious beast's attention, Kirbynite makes a beeline for Square 2. He runs past APH Striker and Emptyeye, and lunges at a log. |
