Nice to see his bro ratted me out..  Anyway, from what I can see, the thing was broken already, or already loose enough. The thing didn't want to come out at all, and wiggling it didn't seem to do much. I started to freak out when I saw the part that actually connects to the 'Cube was still in, and that purple casing was coming out. I managed to pull it out through that thing that was stuck in the port, but I was still freaked.... *shrugs* And if it was my fault, kharma kicked my butt. I've gone through lots of Gamecube controllers.. Three of them are official controllers, and those still seem to work the best... The third party controllers (I think I've gone through four) just.. suck. One caused the Gamecube to shut off, another kept on pressing right on the analog for any kinda movement you do, and the other one.. Keeps on disconnecting itself from the Gamecube. *sighs* I believe Smash Bros. is the cause for the analog sticks to start going bad. Hopefully, someone will find the solution to Smashing.  |

It has been brought to my attention that Zerodius is really short handed now. He has the option.. to.. uh... *looks amongst his OT'd judge team* .. Eh.. Well, for now, Zerodius can post every other turn. The order is still the same, but Zerodius can do a little more. We're just trying to make more action here, heh. That is all. |

OoC Kirbynite: As I always say, there's always a weakness, especially when role playing is involved. I don't know much about Ziff's character, but I do know that JDavis and Melvin can easily deal with the problem. Good luck in being "strong", Zerodius. Boss types aren't usually ones to stand long when those guys, especially Melvin, is around |

Kirbynite rubbed his head, and looked dully at Melvin. A few seconds later, the sky was painted with a beautifully yellow, scattered explosion. Kirbynite: ... Why did you hit that firecracker with a guitar? He shook his head. The Deku Dreamlander didn't know if he wanted to hear the reason. With an unusual looking fairy in his hand and a tiny dragon in his green cap, Kirbynite took off towards the northern part of the town. The most of the locals gave the little wooden creature some horrible looks. Kirby took the hint that Deku Shrubs aren't exactly well liked in the city. Eventually, Kirbynite reached North Clock Town. There was a playground, with swings and slides. There was a strange man wearing a green, skintight suit floating on a red balloon. Some little children were trying to use a pea shooter to pop a balloon with a weird mask painted on it. Kirbynite: So.. where? Ka'ae: 'Tis before your eyes. Kirbynite: ... Oh! That cave over there... but.. it looks creepy looking...

This game took me a bit. I've been playing it ever since it came out, and I finally finished it with the plus worlds. (Thanks to my job and online stuffs |
)I admit that I wasn't too fond of the art style. It looked both nice and not so nice at the same time. I dunno how that would work, but eh.. I guess it's meant to be seen on GBA's screen. I think is the first game that I've heard Mario speak so much.. and such varied amount of voice samples! I really liked that.. I was kinda saddened at the fact that there weren't any classic levels.. And the controls felt a bit.. eh-like... But I still enjoyed it. I played DK94 again for a bit to remind myself of how it was back then.. And I realized how much I loved the controls. And the triple handstand jump was actually useful back then! In the new game, it's useful, but not if you're trying to quickly reach something while being stuck in a perilous position. After playing some more of DK94, I find out that I felt some of the puzzles felt like a chore to me. Meanwhile, the puzzles in MvsDK felt very fun... Spoiler: I enjoyed the expert levels and plus worlds a lot more than the normal six worlds. I was amazed to see that they jammed all those levels... I think there's more than 114 levels.. excluding the boss ones, and the expert levels. I completely loved the puzzles in the expert and plus levels. It felt very refreshing...

But yeah.. I don't know where you're hearing this stuff, but it's not really that bad. Then again, with most platforming games, you're already gonna have it beat rather quickly. Just download the game if it's troubling you.

Kirbynite had finally recovered. He peeled himself off of the situation he was stuck onto, and staggered towards the heart of the battle. |
Kirbynite: We're... getting pretty beaten here... We're just a bunch of teens though.. That black robot's a real robot... Not like the one that Melvin built from bits and pieces.. And even though we've got real robots with us.. And a cybernetic psycho pichu.. We still can't beat it.. Kirbynite looked down. He was still a bit far from the fray. He was lost in his thoughts. Kirbynite: But... I want to see Big Sis again..... And Nakase! The pink creature held up his Star Rod. Sparkles of hope sprinkles out of the glowing star. Kirbynite gritted his teeth, and lunged forward. Rushing forward with recklessness, Kirbynite weaved in between his allies. His comrades quickly realized that the little red capped creature had ran past them from the amount of colorful sparkles fluttering by them. With a slight grunt, Kirby slashed at Forte. The attack was enpowered with a strong glow, followed by random glittering, enough to give weak children seizures.

Kirbynite found himself kissing the cold flooring. With an unnatural amount of energy going through his little body, Kirby got up to his feet. He was panting pretty hard. |
Hope had flashed before his eyes moments ago, and he didn't want to let it go. Seeing the black robot being affected in such a manner seemed to have brought some life, as well as adrenaline, into the little pink creature. Kirbynite drew the Star Rod once more. The sphere of Dark Matter was heading towards him. With a firm grasp on the radiant weapon, Kirby leapt into the air. He pulled the rod up, performing an upward slice. SPLOOEY! In another bright flash, the ball of Dark Matter exploded into nothingness. The dark droplets that were found all over the room slowly melted until there was nothing to be seen. After landing back on the ground, Kirbynite panted a couple of times. He then toppled over onto the ground.

The next thing Melvin realized was a pink blur going past his visual sensors. |
Kirbynite: Aiiee! Kirbynite crashed nearby the Masaki resident. He slowly got up, rubbing his head. Before he knew it, Yosho was ontop of him. The glowing saber hummed above Kirby's face. However, the troubling moment ended when Kirbynite just inhaled the sword and Yosho. With a few crunches, Kirbynite spat the old man back out. Yosho was now unconcious. Kirbynite: Heh... *looks at the screen* Yeah yeah.. I know it was cheap, but I wasn't up for having an epic battle with the old man ;;

The odd man in the skintight suit landed next to Kirbynite. Kirby was highly startled, and almost tripped. He looked to the side, and saw the man. Kirbynite: Hey... are.. you ok? The odd man got up to his feet. His skintight suit squeaked with every movement. Kirbynite was a bit frightened. Tingle: *squints at Kirby* What's this? Green clothes? *looks at Kirby's hand* A glowing fairy? Sir, could you, by chance, be a forest fairy? Oh my! *does a little dance, squeaking some more* Kirbynite: Um... actually.. Tingle: My name is Tingle! I think I am the same as you, sir. A forest fairy! Kirbynite: But... Tingle: Alas, though I am already age 35, no fairy has come to me yet... Kirbynite, with a dull look in his eyes, just stared at Tingle. The Deku Dreamlander would've had his jaw hanging if it weren't for his unusually shaped mouth. Tingle: My father tells me to grow up and act my age, but why? I tell you...Tingle is the very reincarnation of a fairy! Now while I stand here waiting for a fairy of my own, I sell maps to help out my father. Tingle stares at the glowing fairy in Kirby's hand. The stray fairy has a very big sweatdrop. Tingle: *hops* Lucky! Lucky! You're so lucky to have a fairy! I know! I know! We should be friends! Yes! Yes! In exchange, I will sell you a map for cheap as a sign of my friendship.
