I'm pretty sure that this question has been asked a thousand times.. I tried searching the forum but I can't find any sort of search function here.

Anyway, I've played a few hacks and I'm currently int he process of creating my own.. My question is... How do you edit the title screen to change the name of the game?

Thanks in advance.

To edit the movements, close LM, open it again, load the ROM, WAIT! Don't do anything. Type Chelsea (it's case sensitive) and the status bar should show "Chelsea is *really* cute" and the icon would change. Open the OV editor and click on "File" You'll see a new menu. Install the recording ASM.

I tried that but.. the Chelsea is cute thing comes up.. I go to the OW editor, click file and there is no new menu.

Nope, nothing.

Don't forget you have to hit F11 when you open the OW editor.

That brings up the SMW title editor..

I's still not getting this new option under file thing though

Maybe I'll try downloading the program again.

I have a level in my hack where half way through there is an exit enabled pipe which takes you to a small underground section.

Apon exiting this underground area area the player should be returned to the 1st level a couple of screens from where they left the area..

The problem is they dont. They end up at the very beginning of the level..

I've think I've set up the secondary exit correctly.. it's on the appropriate screen.. any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Thats the tutorial I used to learn about the OverWorld Editor.

It's fantastic, the screenshots are a great deal of help!

I want to play Demo Word: TLC, but whenever I patch the IPS patch to a SMW rom the emulator won't play it!

Could someone be a darling and send me a patched version of the rom to my inbox?

Question:

I'm following the steps on the first page perfectly.

I go to insert the EXGFX and I get some message about.. The EXGFX are stored as 3bp or something simmilar. I apparently have to extract the GFX or something.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!?

Got it.

I've been calling the ExGFX file... ExGFX**.bin instead of just ExGFX**

sorted! Thanks!

Posted on 07-08-04 04:09 PM, in Line Guided Platform Problems Link
I have a level in my hack which consists mainly of line guided platforms.

When mario enters part of a level with a line guided platform on, the platform has allready began following the line.

I remember playing the orginal SMW and at some points the platform wouldn't start following the line untill mario jumped onto the platform.

I think it has something to do with the positioning of the platform but i'm not sure.

Can anybody help me out?
