Janus: "Well, nothing, really. Ex isn't a bad being, just not a good one, either. In any case, she saved us. That's got her in my good light for now." He walks closer to the deformed being, a slight scowl on his face... "But I'm warning you, Ex. This energy is completely pure. Even you'll have some trouble assimilating it all into yourself, hence the half-transmutation you've become. Dracoon's right, you'll need dark power. In the very least, this should be enough to give you some real consciousness..." Janus reached into his bag and pulled out, with a slight look of disgust on his face, a black sphere about the size of his head. Dark energy oozed from it, and Sensae, Schwa, and probably even Origin and Dracoon would be apalled to look at it. It was a piece of Pure Dark Matter, the kind that would make O2 himself smile with delight. "Never thought I'd have to use this, but you'd be surprised at how handy it is to have devices from all corners of the alignment spectrum. Frankly, I don't even know how it exists in a place like this, but it should be enough to at least get Ex talking straight. And get some skin on her." He hurled the sphere of Dark Matter at Ex and wiped his hand on his suit's pants, leaving behind a steaming-hot black spot. Grey was, of course, incapacitated... Grey (thinking): 'What are you? What're you doing in my head? Get out! Get out get out get out get out!!!! Or if you're gonna stay, at least tell me what you're doing here!' The detective's mind was a jumble of insane, mixed-up thoughts that made little to no sense at this point. He probably needed to calm down.

I'm so sick of this board and how incredibly stupid everyone on it is! God dammit, all you people need to do is just post like you're talking to your mothers or something and this place would be in the very least a little bit better! Instead, I have to enter every single forum and be subjected to the infinite idiocy that knows no bounds in the minds of some of the rather amazingly STUPID members that seem to love to lurk in the halls of this place! I swear, you admins don't even bother to think about what's going on, you just sit there and you're like "oh, we'll solve it later..." You people wanna know what goes on in the staff forums? JACK. FUCKING. SHIT. Wanna know why? Because our staff is lazy. There are no discussions. There are no mandates. There are no votes. You know who controls everything? Colleen and Hiryuu. And that's about it. None of the local mods have any real power, every time they take action or make some kind of report or close, those two just gum up and say "OH MAN U CANT DU TAHT LOLZ". I can't stand it! You can ban the hell out of me for all I care, I don't care! The IQ of this board can be compared in quantitative prowess to the number of evergreen trees in the Sahara Desert! A series of explosions thundered around Team Grey as the butterflies landed on and around them, kicking up incredible amounts of dust, dirt, and sand. When the debris cleared, there stood only one member of the squad out of the original three. Red and Green had been taken completely out of the fight, sprawled on the ground and unconscious due to the incredible power of Ada's attack. Only Janus stood, and it seemed as though he had either evaded every single butterfly that came near him, or simply was unaffected by the explosions. Instead, his eyes narrowed, and he reached up to his face and took his sunglasses off, closing his eyes. He had a gigantic store of power within him, and if Ada was going to use her trump card, he decided to use one of his... |
Janus: "That amount of force was completely unnecessary. But then, this will be, too. Even if this is a fighting tournament and they both made the mistake to enter this fight of their own accord, I can't allow anyone to just hurt them with impunity!" He placed the sunglasses into the soot-covered breast pocket of his suit, and opened his eyes as they glowed brightly with his trademark blue light. This time he wasn't restricted by the plot of a story, or anything like that... "God is power. To gain power, one must gain knowledge. Knowledge is power. To gain knowledge, one must live. Life is power. To live, one must not be afraid of death. Therefore, to live eternally is to be among gods!" Janus crossed his arms in an X shape, closed his eyes, and then whipped his arms straight out to his sides, throwing his head back and making himself into a humanoid crucifix. He then rose several inches off the ground, and the blue light that lay in his eyes rushed outward, blinding the crowd in the stands with glistening radiance! "Messiah!!!" The light faded in several seconds, and the man that stood in place of Janus... ....looked exactly the same. In fact, it seemed that nothing at all had changed about Janus in the physical sense. Internally, however, Janus was a completely different person. He was filled with a sense of strength and ability that he had only felt once before, when he was with Odin. Even then, he could have gone further if he wasn't afraid of what he could do. But here, there was no story, no plot, no twists and turns for him to be led down. Here, he could exercise his potential with impunity. So long as the Nameless NPCs in the crowd decided to get out of the way in time... "The Grey Dawn hasn't come just yet. But when it comes, I'm going to be ready to defend my friends, just like I'm about to now. The amount of power we share shouldn't exist in a world like ours, but when it comes to defending the people you care about, there's no way you can say it's not important to have. There's nothing stronger in this world than friendship." Janus bent his knees ever so slightly and passed Satchel to his left hand, gathering energy in his right... "You'd better not pull another move like that, and you'd better not have hurt Evan and Jason. Otherwise, this is going to be a lot more painful than I'm about to make it now." His hand glowed with a white light, and blue bolts of energy began to circulate around him... "Tell Shino and Jarukoth to stay out of this one, or else THEY'LL get hurt. You wouldn't want your friends to be hurt, would you? Come, we'll settle this between the two of us..." Janus squatted down, and sprang forward, running with insane resolve toward the angelic being that stood before him! "Fist of the Grey Dawn!!!" Janus reached Ada and punched forward, releasing along with all of his passion and fury a tidal wave of pure white energy that sent nameless NPCs in the stands scattering for their robotic lives! Janus knew this would be it, the final attack. He couldn't stand any more beyond what he had already shown. He was satisfied. Red and Green had fought well, Jarukoth, Ada, and Shino were amazing opponents. Now all that was left was to see if they could stand up to a taste of his potential. Whatever Ada would counter with, the light from Janus' attack blew outward, blinding all who watched the fight. There would be only one person standing when it cleared...
