In a cliche anime-type maneuver, the soot-covered Red disappears in a burst of motion as the Needler shots fly at him, reappearing in front of Shino and swiping at him with a punch covered in fire!

Red: "This is for that exploding fake! Burning Fist!!!"

Green, on the other hand, sets up a shield of electromagnetic interference around himself as the Covenant's energy weapons are fired at him. The defense probably would have worked, were it not for the small problem of the Needlers exploding in his face as they collided with his shield. He says absolutely nothing as he is blown into the water, rendered out-of-commission for the time being.

Janus: "Hey, ho...."

Whipping his rapier back from his belt, Janus uses his remaining arm to hold the flailing Jarukoth at arm's length from him in an attempt to stop the drunken strikes, succeeding only in getting a very badly bruised arm. Regardless, he holds Jarukoth as tightly as he can, and tosses him into the water!

".....and up 'e raises, early in the morning!"

..........The water that just happens to be very highly conductive to electricity, as Green knows.

OOC: Eeek, didn't notice this... Or that.

The problem with jerking a weapon out of someone's hands is that the thing you want to jerk it out with has to be attached to the weapon. Since Tuxydon broke the chain, there wasn't anything for him to jerk.

Nevertheless, Kalar was stumped. His weapon currently had been reduced to a stick with a bit of chain on it, and now he had to go through the trouble of finding the pointy end of it. He wiggled the broken part a few times, and watched the chain rattle in an almost infantile way. Then, shrugging, he turned toward Tuxydon, raised the stick above his head, and ran toward him, ready to whack him in the head with it!

Kalar: "Gyaaaaaaaa!!!!"

Janus: "Gayayayayayayyayak!"

He's quite heavily electrocuted, and his pirate suit is singed heavily as well. As he falls to the ground, a Naruto-esque puff of smoke envelops him, turning him back into regular Janus.

The strength of Red's suit was enough to save him, and he turned the attack around by catching the falling hobbit and hurling him at his teammates!

Red: "Jason! Defibrillator! Now!"

There's a splash of water as Green jumps out of the sea and onto Janus' island. He kneels down beside him, places his hands on Janus' chest, and shifts his currents around to act as a biological set of jumper-cables for Janus.

The current goes through Janus' vitals, reviving him and causing him to spring to his feet, no longer dressed in pirate garb, with Satchel in hammer form once again.

Janus: "Ah, thanks, Jason. That scottish accent was getting to me. I felt like Tim Curry for a second, there."

Green nodded as Red leaped from his island to theirs, and the three of them stood together, ready for the next assault by Team Jarukoth.

OOC: School = fun. I've also been planning.

Kalar's swipe is directed straight between the kicking fiend's legs...

Needless to say, if all goes well, he won't have to worry about dodging. If not, consider him floored. For at least a few moments, anyway.

UGrey: "I looked into it, from what I know most of the records of it have been lost or destroyed. If they could revive them, somehow... But until then, they've got to come here of their own accord, we can't judge what we can't read. But as far as your lifetime achievement award goes, the Crystaltania saga was one of the longest single stories in the community, right? They'd definitely be a candidate in my eyes, if they're not going to be revived any time soon."

He closed his eyes, remembering his feeble attempt to comprehend all of Anya's tales... There was just too much for him to read!

"Oh, another idea came into my head, what about "Most Descriptive"?"

Ashton Kutcher studied biochemical engineering before dropping out to become a model.

And I believe Lindsay Lohan is an extremely overrated young woman. She's quickly becoming the modern stereotype of the teen nation, and while she has some acting talent, it's being wasted by movies like Mean Girls and Freaky Friday. While both of them were not necessarily BAD, it seems like she could do more, and instead she's being idolized.

And Kalar suffers a rather large whack to the face, but is knocked conveniently to the ground, where he rolls to the side before the black-ethered fist can hit him.

He gets to his feet, wipes a spot of blood from his lip, and runs over to his detached chain blade, picking it up and holding the broken ends of the chain together. They magically bind back together, and Kalar is equipped with a weapon once again! He celebrates his victory by ditching it immediately, causing the weapon to change into a basket-hilted rapier, which he whips back and forth several times...

Hmm, I'm moving up the ranks pretty fast...

If I keep going at this rate (and if my usual hangouts stay active...) I might stay in the top ten all month.

In addition to what Hiryuu said, everyone, whether they realize it or not, makes a subliminal judgement about someone based on their societal schemas. If you see something you've been brought up to believe is deviant, you WILL believe, in some small, unmentionable way, that it is deviant and should be treated as such. You don't have to do it, you could always just say "No, I won't do that, it's wrong", but the thought will have popped into your head nevertheless.

That said, I agree in some way with the whole "People who think they're better than everyone else" thing, but I have two view on it. On the one hand, people who genuinely think they are better than everyone else have something that needs to be worked out in their heads, and they need to realize that everyone has skills and strengths and weaknesses.

On the other hand, the people who accuse other people (sometimes falsely) of thinking they're better than everyone else need to wake up and realize that by giving themselves the power to make judgement calls like that (as Dogan did say, I'll give him that credit), they are not practicing what they preach.

I remember a small group of people would say I thought I was better than everyone else (and I nearly lost my girlfriend because of these people), and that I was an ass for it. Ironically, these people were actually trying to separate me from my girlfriend by influencing her that way, and saying that I was a creepy piece of crap and they shouldn't associate with me because I wasn't good enough for her. You can see the hypocrisy there.

Bottom line, I think people should just stay out of other people's thoughts, because when it comes right down to it, the pope and I both go to the bathroom, and when we do, both of our wastes stink, no matter what happens.

Feet and hands, Ace, are two completely different things.

That said, I'm getting a little more stable in heavy now... Does anyone know how I could build my stamina? I can usually do like one heavy song and then I just fail the next one about halfway through because I start almost hyperventilating.

Janus: "I'll handle this one..."

He slams his hammer into the ground, and several feet in front of him, the spiked meat-tank gets a rift of earth pushed out from beneath it like a piston!

"Earth Spike!!!"

Red and Green look to each other, nod once, and split off in different directions. The battle quickly begins to liken itself to a round of Unreal Tournament, as each warrior reaches a weapon Ada threw out, and picks it up!

And now, a quick broadcast from the mind of Agent Green...

Green (thinking): 'Wow, this is pretty crazy stuff. I wonder if it's a good idea to pick up these guns? That Ada lady is pretty clever. Chances are, they're probably wired with explosives. I guess I'll just have to save myself. I hope Evan doesn't get hurt, either...'

As he picks up his gun, a silver Mac 10, Green sends a quick wave of EMP through it, stopping any remote-control recievers in it from activating. He makes a hydraulic-powered leap to an adjacent island, and lays his other hand on a black Desert Eagle, sending another wave of EMP through it.

Armed and dangerous, Red and Green are at opposite ends of the arena, on either side of Jarukoth and Ada, as Janus and Shino's conflict comes to an end...
