UGrey: "Fourth Wall Breaker!!!" As the inspiring interlude reaches its musical climax, a gigantic explosion sends pieces of tile and thinset flying outward, and when the dust clears, there stands User Grey on a completely repaired floor! "It sounds like someone needs to reorganize things! And, of course, if Dracoon is going to drop out to become a judge...." With that, User Grey produces from his pocket a piece of paper, which he slams on the sign-up sheet desk! And what's on it...? Round 3 Pairings: Master M vs. Darkslaya Grey vs. Jarukoth Kirbynite vs. Toxic Melvin vs. Cappa MetalMan88 vs. Sion Nicolaie vs. Seph2k4 Grey: "Hah, lucky for me Dracoon let me know about his matchup system a while back. This is how it extrapolates! If you all must know, I'll take the liberty of making the threads, as well. Until Dracoon's able to get a grip on things again, I'll run the tournament."

And didn't China and India, which already house over 1/4 the world's population, fight legislation that would in the very least help to fight pollution on the grounds that it was America's mess and they shouldn't have to clean it up, no matter how much they'd contribute to it in the future? Nice logic, there. Yeah, even though America got caught with its pants down, let's unzip and let it rip! China and India are going to end up producing more pollution than America ever has once they develop... the least they could do is make sure global warming really is just America's fault by not contributing to it.

Janus: "Grey, stop." Grey was cracking his knuckles... Red, Green, Blue, and he had already decided which of them was going to die at Jarukoth's hands... Grey drew the short straw. Grey: "What, Janus? Don't tell me..." Janus: "I want to fight Jarukoth. I've been waiting for it for a long time." Grey: "I thought you weren't fighting?" Janus: "Can't say I didn't say that. But at the same time, I was really only waiting until I could get my hands on someone I've never fought before. Please, Grey. I'd like to take this opportunity." Grey stepped aside to let the black-suited warrior past him and into the stadium. Grey: "Heh, don't let me stop you... Evan told me about that little thousand bird attack of his." Janus: "Grey, thanks. You're a true friend." Janus walked into the arena, Satchel in his arms, ready to battle Jarukoth. But Red, Green, and Blue were going through a rather different battle at the time... ------------------------ Red: "Scheduling error? What the hell are you talking about?" Nameless NPC #322: "Yes, Mr. Williams. I'm afraid there's been a small problem with the spectator regulations. Apparently, so many people wanted to see this fight that we weren't able to give you a private booth to watch it from." Red: "You've got to be kidding me!" NNPC322: "I'm sorry, I wish I could help, but I can't. Why don't you go to the booth we have requisitioned for you now? I'm sure there's some nice people in there..." Red: "Fuck that, give us a booth!" NNPC322: "I'm sorry, I wish I could help, but I can't. Why don't you go to the booth we have requisitioned for you now? I'm sure there's some nice people in there..." Red: "Ah, dammit!" NNPC322: "I'm sorry, I wish I could help, but I can't. Why don't you go to the booth we have requisitioned for you now? I'm sure there's some nice people in there..." Red: "Argh, fine...." With that, the Agents walked away from the front desk of the arena, and headed to their booth. Strange day, indeed. Meanwhile, several hundred yards away, in his office near the Sim Battle Auditorium and Cafeteria, User Grey leans back in his chair and chuckles a bit, his finger just having left a button clearly labeled "Plot Device Activator". ---------------------- Of course, Red, Green, and Blue saunter off to their booth, which happens to be a rather tall tower overlooking the arena. An excellent view, for sure. Waiting for them, at the top of the tower outside the room in which they will be watching the fight is none other than Detective Grey. Grey: "Heya. Janus preempted me at the last minute." Blue: "How surprising, he is actually going to be fighting now? This SHOULD be interesting..." Red: "Doesn't really matter... Have you seen who's in there?" Grey: "No... the door won't open." Red: "Bah, let me take a whack at it." Using his incredible strength, Red manages to open the rather large door, and the four men shuffle in. Red closes the door behind him, and turns around to see who they'll be watching the fight with. Red (thinking): 'Probably some old couple or something... Figures.' Red's look changed from one of apathetic disaffection to extreme surprise. Ada and Shino stood in front of them. Turning back, Red discovered the door was locked, and the only way out of the room was into the Arena. A few hundred yards away, User Grey chuckled a second time...

With his trademark fourth-wall-breaking explosive entrance, User Grey appears right next to Kirbynite... UGrey: "Ah, it figures. You always come up with the better ideas." He looks around. Craziness really did a number on this place; there were cardboard hats, tons of spoons and forks, and even a few buckets of grey paint scattered here and there. "Why is it that we're always the ones getting the crappy locations? First the cafeteria, then the backyard? Hell, I had to convert the janitor's closet just to get my office..." He looked around at the haggard group of characters. It was good to see them, truth be told. "Fortunately, we have a very dedicated roleplaying community here, for sure. And Kirb? I insist." The teenager begins assisting Kirbynite by gathering up all of the plastic spoons and forks on the ground, and tossing them into a rather large, empty beer keg. Everything's going rather nicely, until he slips on a conveniently located piece of cake, falling and scattering the plasticware in a large, localized pile of eating utensils. "........Yeah." And Dracoon, no matter what anyone says about this anime, it's pretty awesome. Everything you've heard in this thread so far is true. I especially like the Sakaki/cat scenes.
