Though I don't use one for writing, I like using a conventional pencil for drawing. Other than that, I'll use a pen, or I'll type everything.

Except when I'm in math class, then I break out the pencils again. Way too many mistakes to keep a pen with.

Ah................... Bad, bad, bad idea. Don't forget to tell people to actually look for the correct movie... You might want to link to it directly, or we might get some readers offended because of their own mistakes.

EDIT: OK, you did, but it still brings up the front page, which kinda has what I'm talking about on it...

Red, Green, Blue, and Grey are all up to something different...

Red: "Odd, I can't find Janus anywhere, he disappeared, it seems."

Blue: "Perhaps his disappearance is further reinforcement of his refusal to do battle?"

Grey: "I don't think he'd do that. I know Janus, he won't turn down a good fi--"

Suddenly, a few hundred feet above them, a loud crash is heard! The four of them all turn their eyes upward, and Blue instantly figures out what it is!

Blue: "Judging by the size of this building, that crash had to have come from the roof!"

Red: "Is it him?"

Grey: "Everyone's down here, even the judges! Except..."

Green raised an eyebrow. Callean was nowhere to be found.

From the stands!

A loud explosion rocks the game show floor, as User Grey suddenly appears!

Grey: "Somebody say "gone"...?"

OOC: I'd like to get in line to take Ziratha's spot if he gets booted. If this does happen, I'd also like to let him have it back if he ends up coming back (like, if this is just a fluke).

EDIT: It just hit me, he said he would be gone for a few days. He'll be coming back, if you check a few pages back he said he was leaving.

Thwarted again...

What I was getting at was that there was one hot water heater for the building, and in order for it to be working, it'd need to be turned on enough to heat the whole building. In any case, it still wasn't on for long enough after the power or gas was on to cause the steam to come out of the shower...

Scene: ________ International Airport, Norway. Baggage check.

Janus precariously took Satchel from the conveyor belt line, hoping he wasn't injured from his stay in cargo...

Satchel: "I swear, You idiot, if I ever have to go through something like that aga--"

Janus hugged the bag closely to him, whispering to it frantically.

Janus: "Shh, shut up... This is a public place. You can't speak here, people will freak out..."

Grey: "Janus, why did we fly, anyway? You can open portals across dimensions, and yet we have to fly the distance between England and Norway?"

Janus: "It's not that... I just wanted to be incognito. Chances are, if this Odin guy was trained by Dracoon and Origin, he'll probably be able to sense me opening portals. I don't want him to get alarmed by our presence."

Grey: "So, what next, then?"

Janus: "Well, firstoff, we've got to get out of this airport. They seem pretty uptight. Judging by the fact that they wouldn't let me keep Satchel as a carry-on, I'm willing to bet we're going to eventually attract some suspicion if we stay here any longer."

Grey: "Then how will we get around? Use Satchel to fly?"

Satchel: "Hell no! I ain't hauling his fat arse around AND yours!"

Janus: "Sh! Shut up! .........No, we're going to have to rent a car."

Grey: "Alright, but when's the last time you had to drive?"

Janus: "Ah, about 450000 years ago..."

Grey sighed, his head drooped, his shoulders slumped, and he took out a wallet from within his coat. Fortunately, an identification in the form of a driver's license happened to be inside. He turned toward the airport exit and made for the car rental garage.

Grey: "Grand. I'm driving."

OOC: Ouch, Dracoon. Very ouch. Janus is just a name, but I like your Norse references.

IC:
What seems to be a banjo plays in the background as the camera pans in a dome fashion around a black Sedan, making its way through the Norse countryside roads. A little detective work by Grey managed to show the pair that people named Odin were naturally afraid of being swallowed by giant wolves that happened to be the sons of evil gods. This didn't really seem to have anything to do with their search, but when they heard some crazy fellow was running around slaying wolves (an animal that was already severely endangered), they decided to track the carcasses to their target...

OOC: From here it's up to you when they meet...

A voice suddenly crackled over the loudspeaker in the SBA&C. The source? A young man wearing a green sweater and navy-blue cargo pants, broadcasting from a small office just outside the area. The same nameless NPCs turned their heads to listen to the announcement...

UGrey: "Attention ladies and gentlemen, this is your Local Moderator, Grey, speaking. Just a quick reminder that if you see me, the reason behind it is just a crack in the fourth wall, which I will not willingly break unless a situation turns harsh. Be forewarned, I am totally capable of breaking said wall and bringing down any battles I feel are getting out of hand. As such, I would encourage you all to keep the rules and regulations of the arena and of your individual battles in mind at all times to ensure stability of battles and my personal sanity. Unless you're Schwa, in which case, I'm watching you. LIKE. A. HAWK. That is all, please return to your normal, everyday cycles of blasting the crap out of each other and above all else, have a nice day."

The voice faded, and the camera panned over to a table in the corner of the arena, where Detective Grey and Janus were grabbing a quick lunch before continuing their search for Odin. Grey is slightly miffed as he stares into a glass of orange juice, a mushroom omelet sizzling before him.

Grey: "I hate that guy."

Janus: "What guy?"

Grey: "Exactly."

Artdink!

Nobody Can Stop Mr. Domino was a strange-arse game made by them that involved, in the most basic sense, domino patterns. In the least basic sense, you had to set up a Rube-Goldberg device to help Mr. Domino acheive X goal.

I THINK that was the premise. Someone care to elaborate if I'm wrong?

OOC: Ironically enough, he's the god of gates and portals...

Janus: "Grey, are you alright?"

Janus looked around. That explosion had rocked the car pretty hard. It was definitely totaled. He had no clue how they were gonna pay that rental place. His attention however, turned almost immediately from the destroyed rental car to the body of the injured Detective, sprawled across the road. Janus rushed over to it, and checked for a pulse.

Still alive. Good, he thought. Upon closer inspection, Janus discovered a shard of glass stuck in Grey's side. Amazingly enough, it failed to hit a single vital organ. He was unconscious, but he'd survive. Grey really did have the best luck in the world, and it amazed Janus to see it in action at times.

The issue, however, was not whether or not Grey would survive, but what caused his life to be endangered in the first place. Janus could think of only one thing. He got to his feet, scanned around using Blue's sunglasses, and locked onto a single target in the countryside grass...

Janus: "Odin..."

OOC: I can hardly wait. Sorry it took so long to reply, I've never used Kalar outside the SF...

Kalar removed the scythe from his back and held it aloft in his mechanical hand. It was heavy, but his steel arm could easily support the weight as opposed to his real one. Prosthetics, though horrible reminders of a terrifying past, can come in handy.

Kalar: "Well, it's not really a spear... It's pretty much whatever I need it to be. It's called a Multiweapon, customized for use by yours truly. It's mainly defensive, though. I'm not a fan of hurting people, hence the strangeness. Still, a spear..."

The Multiweapon's scythe blade straightened, and slided upward, growing a little wider and rounder until it formed a parrying spear that rested in both of Kalar's hands. He windmilled it rapidly several times, and held it in front of him before Tuxydon's face.

"Heh, I'm not sure I'll be able to do something like that again, though. You're welcome to try, but I don't really want to get hurt, and you seem like a pretty good shot."

[00:03] Rale9891: Think, Ziff. He's describing the setting of a science fiction novel or something.
[00:03] Dark Lord Ziff: Then elaborate on that in the first post.
[00:03] Dark Lord Ziff: Rather than going "OMG I DON" T WANT TO READ THE FOUNDING LITERATURE OF WHAT I'M ASKING"
[00:03] Rale9891: He's calling what is really just post apocalypse anarchy.
[00:04] Rale9891: He didn't go OMG I DON"T WANT TO READ THE FOUNDING LITERATURE OF WHAT I"M ASKING" he just thought it was too long for him to read and quickly respond to
[00:04] Dark Lord Ziff:
[00:04] Rale9891: I never said it wasn't a bad move, man
[00:06] Rale9891: it's just that he's thinking fantasy, you're thinking extremely involved political debate on the inner workings of the human mind and society in general
[00:06] Rale9891: you study these things
[00:06] Rale9891: he does not
[00:07] Rale9891: he's approaching "anarchy" with the mind of someone who watches Mad Max and The Butterfly Effect and thinks he can travel through time in an aluminum Delorean so long as he uses some plutonium and a thing that looks like a magnifying glass

To clarify, Neb, I'm not insulting you, in fact I appreciate the way you think and I like the possibility you present with your novel idea, but you and Ziff about totally different things, and his idea of anarchy can't possibly be the same as what you present.

Neb, I was exaggerating. Obviously nobody's that stupid, and certainly not you.

I like the possibility of a world without government, because of all the difficulties we would lose. But at the same time, I can't help but think of the chaos that would erupt without any kind of law in the world. I'd definitely be dead, that's for sure.

No diplomacy, but no regulation. No taxes, but no funding, either. Money would probably be abolished, but then nobody could pay for anything, barter and trade would break down because of a lack of work ethic and useless skills, our technology would probably regress, but that's not a bad thing either.

Humanity has based itself around organizing itself and acting in large groups, government is a necessary evil to our survival.
