I believe he's trying to say that often a killer's motivations come from outside, and that the killer is not responsible for actions influenced by his environment.

On a totally different note, one has to take into account a killer's psyche when they are apprehended. I say we find out his motivations for the killing, his history, his environment, and every possible factor that contributed to his hatred of life (including things that may seem irrelevant, such as who his third grade math teacher was or something like that, psychoanalysis can take the smallest details and work them toward the largest consequences), and based on that, give him the choice of living a life in prison or dying a death that he may or may not want. This goes both for and against the proposition that financial status has to do with murder.

The view that someone should die because they killed is an eye-for-eye view of the world. I believe everyone's life has a different worth, and that losing one's life does not justify losing another person's. It's just primitive to assign a set value to everyone's life.

Grey: "Blitz Beat."

Birdon, at this command, flew towards the wyvern at a blinding speed! Taking a straight course upward just before meeting the wyvern, he turned sharply downward, and began strafing at an incredible rate, back and forth across the area the wyvern was flying around in!

Grey, meanwhile, used the effects of Improve Concentration well. His reflexes increased, he drew out a crossbow from his backpack, and raised it in front of him, catching the spear within the bow's limbs. he dropped to the bround, slid beneath Dracoon's legs, and tried to flip Dracoon over his head with the grappling effect of his bow and her spear locked together!

Was the jewelery a set of pearls that were forming inside of some oysters kept inside of a fish tank that was unable to circulate and self clean itself because the electricity powering the self cleaning device attached to the tank had lost its power?

EDIT: This would mean that the oysters died.

Back when I thought Naruto was good, I'd take Sharingan any day of the week, mainly because I had a better idea as to what Kakashi could do with it. Rather than just copy a technique, why not improve upon it?

Well, yeah. It's kinda like a cartoon Shakespeare play, with more mecha.

But god DAMN, it's depressing. Really, really, really depressing, like watching your girlfriend cheat on you while getting reports that your primary investment stock just failed horribly, contracting a case of gonnorhea, discovering the sheer impossibility of world peace, and hearing the death cries of 1000 kittens AT THE SAME TIME.

I was sad. That's why I think it was good.

*raises hand* I've seen it.

Nudity, gore, bad language, and it's hard to understand. But it's not too bad.

Also, it has caused my life to give meaning to the word "nyu."

Negative 1.8C.

Velocity is a vector quantity, which means it needs a direction, though... In the case of Y, X would be traveling negatively. And since the rules of Point of reference dictate that an object's speed doubles when it travels in the opposite direction of a moving object, it's ok for the object's speed to go over the speed of light, since point of reference doesn't dictate actual velocity, just percieved velocity.

I'm the colorblind killer.

EE's the foreigner.

Smallhacker and Kario are stupid.

KATW and Karadur are unopinionated.

Jagori is the marshmallow.

Rejoice, for there shall be cookies for all.

Feel free to switch Smallhacker and EE around. I don't actually think they're stupid, but you might.

Also, you gave NSNick two points in that last one.

But frame of reference would dictate that the speed of an object in one object's frame of reference is based on the speed of the object being referred to...

I'm not sure if I'm thinking in the right terms, anyway. I was thinking about stuff like when two cars are going toward each other at 60 MPH the speed of one car from the point of view of the other car is actually 120 miles per hour... That kind of stuff... It's not relevant here, I guess.

Grey (between bites): "What, this?"

In his hands, among the fruit and vegetables, is a single half-eaten piece of fungi. He looks quizzically at it, throws it to Teddylot, and resumes his spectating.

Grey: "Wind Walk."

In a burst of green light, Birdon was back on Grey's shoulder, and the two moved like the namesake element of the evasive technique! He rolled off the ground, out of the way of the thrusts and onto his feet, catching the bird on his shoulder as arcs of lightning raced over its head! Dashing hurriedly over the massive (and rather peacefully sleeping) body of Charles Schwabb, and taking cover behind his equally massive pushcart, Grey wordlessly loaded his crossbow with a rather oversized flabtraption of silver-tipped arrows. He waited until the wyvern's lightning finished trying to turn his feathered friend into a chicken sandwich, and stood out from behind the cart!

"Arrow Shower."

About 9 or 10 arrows were sent flying at the same time at the wyvern!

"Bush has warned Iran in recent weeks against meddling in Iraqi elections."

Asshole. Hypocrite No, Asshole.

I hope they don't reinstate the draft for this one, for a few reasons:

1) I don't want my aging stepfather called in, despite his being able bodied, he has a family to support.

2) I don't want my girlfriend called in, because the Bush administration will draft women alongside men, no matter how much chauvanism is in their personal accords, when war is involved they'll get anyone to fight for them.

3) I don't want my friends called in, they're some of the greatest intellectual minds I've ever seen and they don't deserve to die and possibly set American technological development back a few decades.

4) I don't want to be called in to fight for a country I have little, if any, faith in the leadership of.
