| As the barrier of Kyrie Elison absorbed all of Dracoon's hits, Garro brought his staff to bear with her foot, levering it away and stepping back a few feet. Garro: "Simple! I'm a priest. I use the power of God to make myself and my friends stronger. Everything I cast on my allies I can cast on myself, after all..." He uses his increased speed to zoom at Dracoon again, swatting at him with several quick whips of his wand! "And yes, yes I do think my faith will save me." |

The signature White Mage move, the blood coming from his mouth was quickly staunched in a flow of green light that emitted from Garro's feet upward. However, Dracoon's attempt to handstand off of him was thwarted by Garro's own horrible physical strength, as his legs gave out at the slightest possibility of weight and he tumbled to the ground. Scrambling to his feet and out of the way of Dracoon's downward kick, Garro placed his hands together and began praying... "O lord, we ask thee to impart thy might upon this sinner, and in thy providence guide him to the side of righteousness! Holy Light!!!" From the heavens, a cross-shaped beam of light fired downward at Dracoon! Grey: *raises an eyebrow*

As the crowd continued its mantra, Grey pointed the pistol at Dracoon, and Satchel continued his screaming... Satchel: "Seriously Grey! I know what that thing does! You fire it, you're BOTH gonna die! You're both gonna die and there won't be anything I can do to save either of you!" Crowd: "Fi-re, fi-re, fi-re!" Satchel: "Think about this: Have you ever watched a building get demolished? How about a few buildings? How they all collapse to the ground and dust kicks up everywhere and you have to run like hell? THAT'S WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN IF YOU FIRE! And I don't even want to think about what'll happen if you miss!" Crowd: "Fi-re, fi-re, fi-re!" Satchel: "Janus created that gun because he was a fool! He did it to show off his strength, and he showed off too much! Grey, that gun is a combination of one of the strongest handguns in the world and the power of EINSTEIN HIMSELF!" Crowd: "Fi-re, fi-re, fi-re!" Satchel: "The bullets in that gun travel at the speed of light, Grey! The speed of light! That's three million meters per second, because they're charged with a pure lightning propulsion system! Anything, even if it's as small as a bullet, traveling at that speed will cause an amount of force comparable to a ton of dynamite going off wherever it hits!" The crowd goes silent for a moment and considers this.... Several people shout "ooh" and "oh.." and "what..?" Eventually, they come up with their final verdict... Crowd: "Fi-re, fi-re, fi-re!" Grey: "Well, let's see what happens when I pull the trigger..." He points the gun and fires a bullet directly at Dracoon! At that moment, three things happen: 1: Grey gets thrown back about 200 feet, past trees and shrubs, by the sheer recoil from such a weapon and is slammed into the arena wall. Fortunately, Satchel was there to ensure his back didn't break, but it still hurt A LOT. Picture the worst case of whiplash you'll ever get. 2: If it hit Dracoon, Dracoon would have to make sure he could stand up to what Satchel was talking about. The bullet wasn't THAT powerful, only about half as much as Satchel estimated, but it sure as hell wasn't a normal Deagle shot. If it hits Dracoon, everything in a 20 foot radius of the discharge of force (that's where it hit Dracoon) would be bent toward the ground. Not necessarily destroyed, but it'd make a neat flower pattern of trees and bushes. 3: If it missed, you can forget about the wall of the arena behind Dracoon being there. End result, Grey got badly injured, and thank god there's only seven bullets in a single clip.

Grey: "Well then, Satchel, shall we give the crowd what they want?" Crowd: "Fi-re, fi-re!" Satchel: "You fool! Absolute power corrupts absolutely! You're gonna do that, you're not gonna have me there to save you next time!" Grey: "Satchel, think about it: If you act as a brace for me, I can fire this thing without causing myself any serious damage!" Grey stepped away from the wall in which he was slammed. He pointed the gun at Dracoon again, and started walking toward him, Satchel still strapped to his back. "There's still six bullets left!" (telepathy) Janus: 'Satchel, much as I hate to admit it, I think he's on to something here. In the very least, it'll make the fight interesting. I wasn't able to master using that weapon, maybe he can. Guns really aren't my thing, you know? Let's see if they're really his.' Satchel: 'As long as he's not opening the front pocket, I'm fine... Stupid people, thinking they can just wield weapons like that.' Janus: 'Do what he says, Satchel. I think Dracoon could use a challenge, he seems to be lusting for one.' Satchel: 'You're going to hell, Janus. You know that, right?' Janus: 'That's if I ever die, Satchel.' Satchel's seams quivered in faithful resolve as he complied with Grey's plan... Satchel: "Alright, Grey. Do what you want, I'll try to keep you safe." Grey: "Excelsior! Now watch this!" The detective whipped a grappling hook out from within his coat, fired it at a nearby tree, latched onto a branch, and swung towards Dracoon, firing the gun downward at him! The recoil launched him into the air and gave him enough centrifugal force to come back down around his grapple to hit Dracoon, assuming he missed with the shot. Satchel: "Not bad..."

I thought DKC was great. It was the only one in the series I ever got everything on, and I did it all myself, no cheatcodes or anything. That was big for me, I was a little kid back then. As a matter of fact, Donkey Kong Country was the first video game I ever actually beat by myself as a child. |
It's extremely far from "blah", that's for sure. And DKC2 kinda irritated me, the music was amazing, but it wasn't my kind of music. If anything it creeped me out. And no matter what, in every DKC game, swimming levels were NOT done right. I hated them.

Rather than use the Eagle Cannon again, Grey reaches into his coat, and pulls out his normal gun... "Let's see... Reploid armor, right? This should help a little bit..." He takes a cartridge of Armor Piercing ammo, and totally forgets about the power shot heading right at him... Satchel: "Grey, you dumbass!" Floating between Grey and the shot, Satchel takes the blast full on, and is blown clear of the arena! Noticing this, Grey suddenly feels his heart sink a bit. Grey: "Well, shit."

A small pink hat, which he placed atop his head. A pair of old, withered gloves, which he slid over his hands. A ruff, which he tied around his neck, and a pair of shoes, which he replaced his current pair with. Grey: "........" The silent warrior closed his eyes, though behind his sunglasses this was hardly discernable. He placed his hands together, and suddenly uttered two words, and just two words. Birdon screeched upon his shoulder, and beat his wings impatiently. "Improve Concentration." A strange orange light surrounded his feet, grew upward, and enveloped him in its rays!

I read up on the situation, I understand the circumstances, and I know what has happened before his permaban. Yes, he has antagonized repeatedly. But many of us have, with impunity, I might add. Perhaps if the fire was not so heavily fed, then it would not have caused so many flames. Other people were banned alongside him, but he was the only permanent ban, despite the fact that several of the people who participated in the argument with him have argued before. This is not discrimination, but at the same time, it is, in my opinion, unjust. I know many people will complain about his ban, as Legion was, and probably still is, a rather important part of the board. I propose we let the people decide, rather than just the staff. Should Legion remain permabanned?

I like the staff here. They have never given me any problems, and if I break any rules, I apologize, make a note not to break them again, and don't break them again. However, at the same time, some people I've never seen online once in my entire time here. I believe the staff should be cut and dried, because of inactivity. I don't see anyone whom I could classify as "corrupt" or "evil" or "DUBMASSLOLZ" or anything like that. Just cut down the staff to people who are active, maybe add members who are active and deserve a part in discussions, whatever it takes. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
