| Well, our last winter was a combination of lots of snow and periods of nothing. On the one hand, we got buried around January (I think, can't remmember), but in late November and most of December we were pretty much snowless. It's that kind of winter I can't stand, when it's cold for no reason. When it's cold and there's snow, at least then you know you get to see a pretty white horizon, but when you're outside in the bitter cold, and there's no snow to be seen, sometimes you just have to wonder why. | |||

| This does indeed intrigue me. I loved the Turks in VII, I always felt they were just like Team Rocket, except cooler and much better dressed. But it seems kind of strange that Square would make it for cell phones. The Turks were fan favorites, having them in their own game would own. Heh, they could always make an appearance in Kingdom Hearts, that'd be neat. | |||

| I like the art style in One Piece, myself. It's simple, it's not overly detailed, and the character style (tall, thin, "lanky" characters) really seems to fit, especially in the fighting. I thought it got repetitive after awhile, but it's not nearly as bad as some animes I've seen. | |||

But I will gladly pluck your figs until the fig plucker comes. YES I do know how bad that last one sounds. It was an old enunciation exercise that my drama teacher made us do. Obviously, if we messed up, we knew it.  |

| The staff successfully takes the sword hits, and is left with a pair of small scratches, being made of metal. Janus, however, crumples beneath the blows and falls to the ground under the force of the hit. Janus: "I'm not nearly as strong as you... dammit..." From the ground, Janus makes a slice at Shadow's feet again, following it up with a quick upward strike as he rises to his feet! "But I'm just as fast!" |

| ....Except the staff's not broken. Instead, Janus is knocked backwards, having absorbed most of the shock of Shadow's attack. Janus: "You're not gonna break this weapon. It's made of the same stuff the bag is lined with, meaning it can loosen and strengthen at will. You saw it when the bag became hammer-like, it's almost insubstantial. As I control it, I can transfer its physical state to my liking, in this case, to a non solid form. Unfortunately, as you can see, all of that force has to go somewhere, and I'm not too keen on deflection techniques." Janus puts the staff back in his bag pouch. It collapses neatly into the pocket from whence it came. "I really can't stand this anymore, I'm growing tired of fighting with a handicap." A look of annoyance on his face, Janus reaches into his satchel and pulls out a disc, and begins looking at it very closely. |

| I gotta go with the rest and say it's not worth it to get rid of your PS2 here. Unless you're playing Four Swords or Crystal Chronicles, a GBA SP can't do anything your computer and a controller adaptor can. Use the money for your father's birthday instead, if you must sell the PS2. | |||

| I managed to 96 SMW, but that's not all that impressive, just the star by the levels. Thought that Special level where you go through a mock-up of the demo stage was neat though. I also managed to make Luigi almost twice as strong as Mario in Superstar Saga, if that's worth commendation. |

| Ha, I have no preference to items or no items, really. Oftentimes nowadays I'm not the one setting the rules, so things tend to go crazy really fast. On occasion though, I'll set up a classic duel on Final Destination with no items, just to test my skills. I definitely need to get more aggressive with my fighting style though, too often I just sit and wait for my opponent to hit me, and although I like that, it makes battles rather long. I'm also not a fan of the so called "special moves" like that skid slide that Luigi can do, I don't see how they're good for anything but show. | |||

| "Wrong Move!" Janus says as his eyes glow a strange blue color. The disc breaks before Shadow can reach it, and the results are immediately apparent. Janus leaps out of Shadow's way, but before he does Shadow can see that Janus now holds in his hand a small green stone: Another Materia. Janus: "Perfect, it's just what I wanted. The abilities I recall may be random most of the time, but give me a few seconds and I can recall nearly anything! Fortunately, this type of attack is rather common in FFVII, so I don't need to search too long to get it!" Janus hooks the green stone onto his satchel, and takes out another disc... |

| Hoping Shadow'd try to lunge for the disc again, the bullet hole in Janus's latest disc reveals its true identity; That of a blank CD. Janus is dismayed at the return of projectile weaponry, and is beginning to show a slight bit of fear in his eyes, which have stopped glowing. Janus: "Damn! I was hoping you'd fall for that. Nice shot, Shadow. I didn't expect that from you. Guess this means I'll have to up the ante!" Janus takes a step towards Shadow and immediately stumbles, a strange pain lancing through his left leg. He has been hit in the leg by one of Shadow's stray bullets. It's not looking good for Janus, who pulls another disc out of his bag and immediately breaks it open, leaving his latest acquisition entirely up to chance. "I hope this works..." Janus closes his eyes for a moment, then instantly opens them again, his eyes flaring that strange blue color for an instant, and dying down just as quickly. He has a look of surprise and anxiety in his face. "Magic Missile? Over 150 documented D&D spells and I have to get the one single crappy offensive one? Grrr... Oh well, at least it gives me a projectile attack, even if it is a small one." Janus points his finger at Shadow, chants something, and instantly a small ball of magical energy flies out of his finger! (It's a small, low damage magic spell that homes in on its target, but can be blocked or evaded if done so correctly.) |
