I'm reasonably impressed. Concise, clear, and true.

Now that he's bitched, can he please tell us what he plans to do about it?

So I'm told about this right before I watch The Talented Mr. Ripley. Talk about a bad combination of creepiness.

Anyway, she admitted to killing a woman and stealing her baby, did she not? The most obvious thing to do would be to punish her and make sure the baby is safe, rather than run tests on it and keep everyone's heads in their arses about the fate of the woman who killed. Once everything involving the law is squared away, we can worry about the baby's DNA, and if the baby turns out to be the real deal, well, we increase the sentence laid on the killer.

As a side note, people sicken me.

I've got issues with the accusations following him, but I don't think his trial should be made into a public spectacle.

Celebrities are humans, too. I think the press should stay away from this, because when it all boils down to it, it's a crass invasion of privacy sheerly for shock value. Let Jackson rot in jail. Don't let him rot in jail while still getting lavish amounts of attention from the press. It's counterproductive.

Was he cleaning the pool, placed a towel around his head to protect himself from the fumes of the pool cleaning chemicals, and ended up hurting himself with the equipment because he couldn't see?

As the bullets ricocheted off the ground around Grey, he panicked, looking left and right and screaming like the chicken he is.

Grey: "Gaaaaaa! No! No bullets! No! Bad!"

Screaming in time with his jerking motions, Grey's erratic movements caused random objects to come piling out of his trenchcoat--grappling hooks, a teddy bear, several Bob Marley CDs, a lucky cat, some shillings, the instruction manual to the SNES game "Lagoon", and a magnet. Amazingly enough, no blood. Turning around, Grey decided to toss off a one-liner...

"Well, that was a ---" Zing!!!

As a bullet pierced through his coat, he collapsed to the ground, and several more bullets revealed a kevlar vest beneath his clothes. When Melvin finished firing, Grey rolled onto his back, and shifted his head to the side as one last bullet struck the ground beside it. The look on his face is one of exceeding pain and shock.

"If that were any closer, I don't think I'd be here right now.... Nice shot..... give or take a few!"

He somersaults backward, regaining his footing. In a twirl and a flashy wave of his coat over himself, the vest is cast off his body, and his business suit is clearly visible beneath the trenchcoat. He whips out his own gun, and pops the A.P. cartridge from it, replacing it with a titanium-coated case of bullets...

"So, I'm not protected anymore, and I can't move like lightning. Guess this is a game of quick-draw, from now on..."

He whips his gun upward, and fires out a few bullets, sighting Melvin. The bullets, after traveling a distance towards the flying prodigy, explode in a burst of napalm!

Grey: "So many guns!"

In a single acrobatic move, Grey dodge-rolls to the side, lands on his feet, and begins running! Shooting a bullet at a nearby manhole, he blows the ground around it open and leaps inward, switching ammunition again!

"Let's see...."

Cartridge in, cartridge out. Grey waits for Melvin to cease fire, and readies a grappling hook, clinging to what's left of the shattered pieces of the manhole ladder.

Way too cold around here...

-11 degrees celsius. I know it's nowhere near what Colleen's experiencing, but that doesn't make it fun. My car almost didn't start this morning.

Although, when you're driving a car that doesn't have any heat in -11 degree weather, there's not much point to starting it in the first place...

OOC: Alright, this one's a gauntlet. You're up against five characters at once, all of them characters I as a person play in Ragnarok Online. You can choose to fight them all simultaneously (in which case I'd suggest you use more than one character), or one after the other. It's your choice. In any case...

There walked upon a winding road,
Five travelers, who as the wind blew strode
Shone alight in the setting sun,
Ready for a night of fun.

Leading the pack, the Sniper, Grey.
His falcon, Birdon, would save the day
By swooping down and taking flight,
He wasn't afraid to fight.

The second man, Janus the Knight,
Assisted Grey in every plight.
His speed unmatched, with blade at his side,
A pecopeco he did ride.

The third a Priest, Garro the name.
Healing was his occupational claim.
Purge the demons with the power of the Gods,
A humble man to bring down the clods.

Fourth, a Blacksmith, Charles Schwabb,
A muscular man, whose dealing could rob
A magpie of its shining nest,
When it came to forging, he was the best.

Finale, the Wizard, named Kalar,
The new guy, hardly a shining star.
Inexperienced he was, but talented still.
He had the heart, and the will.

The choice is yours, combatant.

Charles Schwabb said, "My arm-ed friend,
Your cockiness will lead to an end,
You're hardly a match for this fearsome five,
Be lucky to escape alive."

Janus said, "I'll face him first,
Draw my sword and show my worst.
Come, Patsy, you'll ride with me,
And this fighter's skill we'll see!"

Janus drew his shining sword,
Muramasa, a sharpened metal board,
And Patsy, his pecopeco, rode quite swift,
As he flashed a touch of his combat gift.

Garro said, "Your Agility's Up!"
As a light swirled 'round and wafted up
The priest's brown robes and over to
The riding warrior, brave and true.

A burst of speed, and off he went!
Muramasa, a blade that's hardly spent,
Light and quick, he slashed out,
A blow with plenty of clout...

OOC: OK, OK I'll stop.....

With the power of Garro's Increase Agility, Janus's steed dashed madly around, as Janus bellowed, "Endure!!!" and a green light burst from him!

The attack slammed into him, but he did not budge, instead urging Patsy to rush forward again, this time in a cavalier strike at Dracoon's midsection!

A little game damaging trick with the cartridge....

Blue, Red, Green soldiers, crows, bush monsters, theives, bees, crabs, octorocks, octoballoon, little octoballoon, zoras, stalfos, red stalfos, yellow stalfos, armos knights, squiggly thingies, beamos, leevers, other leevers, sandtrap monsters, blue sandtrap monsters, those fire breathing thingies, red spear throwing soldiers, hyrule castle weakass soldiers, blue stabyou soldiers, ball and chain trooper, gold same, rats, snakes, keese, tekitites, red ones, those things that turn to stone on you, kill you in town soldiers, lanmolas, moldorms, come to life soldiers in the eastern palace area, flying tiles, rocklops, red rocklops, those round things that bounce when you hit them, the red ones that are damn near impossible to kill with a sword, moles (if those count as enemies), those weird mirror moving monsters that are supposed to be in the dark world but appear in the light world for the last heart piece, red of same, agahnim, and that is ALL that I can remember, and considering the last time I played this game was five years ago, that's not too bad.

All in all, that's 47. So I'm wrong if moles aren't counted. But you can hit them with a weapon, so I count them. If not, 46.

48. Forty eight. Forgot one type. The flying eyeball things that are in hyrule castle tower.

Janus knew full well the problems with fighting theives, and winced as he took a blow to the side with the cutting dagger.

Janus: "Not... fast... enough..."

Garro: "Janus! I'll use my powers to heal---"

Janus: "No! I don't need your help! I can do this myself! Whoa, Patsy!"

Janus leaps off of his pecopeco and steadies his katana, then immediately rushes Dracoon, flames coming from the tip of his blade! As he swings his sword downward, a burst of fire explodes from the end of it in a localized firebomb!

"Magnum Break!!!"

The flames envelop Janus, as well, and when the smoke clears, he appears to have been quite crispily burnt. But what happened to Dracoon?

I don't see Bush is stupid for that reason, I'm the same way. The majority of the people I meet are the same way. So yeah.

Apple, there are literal HUNDREDS of quotes on that page. Hundreds. That's hundreds of tripups from a man who is in a position that demands in the very least the ability to state clearly and concisely his views, rather than jumble them up in a frenzied pool of euphanisms. It's not why I HATE him, I hate him for No Child Left Behind, the Department of Homeland Security, and his economic policies.

However, when I turn on the news and listen to statements that he makes, I like to know what the hell he's talking about without doing a double-take and saying "What the fuck?"

I liked Yami no Matsuei, which is surprising, since it's blatant shounen-ai, but I can't really say the story is as addicting as you think. I thought it was passable. But you're dead-on about the art style, it's beautiful.
