Janus' eyes glow brightly as he suddenly gets very, very angry.....

Janus: "The agents.....

He holds his hand out, and gritting his teeth, stops the blast right in place with it!

".....are dead. That's what I'm doing here now. Don't take their names in vain, or I swear I'll kill you!"

That's the power of Iron Will: Janus can stand up to any attack outwardly, so long as he retains his focus on that one particular attacker. He'd be injured, but able to counter effectively. His insides were still healing, but his anger kept him focused. He reared back, raised his hammer, and slammed it on the ground with earth-shattering force, causing a small, localized earthquake!

Janus: "Dead! And I'm gonna get vengeance for it!"

Totally ignoring Korrachi, Janus dashes with astonishing speed towards Origin, his rage further fueling his power! He jumps at Origin, slamming his hammer in a downward arc that turns into a wheel-like spinning strike!

"Don't ever disrespect those men in front of me!!!!"

Slammed backward by the spear blow, the pain of Janus' insides was amplified by Origin's strike. His anger, it was almost uncontrollable... He had only just started to get a bearing on it.

Janus: "I... Don't know what I'm angry at anymore...."

Slowly, he's calmed down. His emotions were out of control, and he knew that anger would only cloud his mind, not focus it. He set his thoughts rationally: What had Origin said? He had mentioned the Agents. The Agents were dead. Dammit, the Agents were dead. But Origin didn't see that, because the Alternate Universe Agents still existed here. Origin didn't know. No reason to be angry at Origin. 'You need to calm down, Janus.' He thought.

"I'm being foolish..."

The hammer was knocked out of his hands by Origin's stopping catch. Focus. The hammer and Janus were one. They became one again as it flew toward him. Keep your focus. No reason to be angry. Janus' insides were getting better, much farther out of the mortal wound range than they were before. The Hauberk was working. There. There was the anger, in the armor. The Armor and Janus were not one, no matter how much the armor wanted it. Janus regained his focus...

"But I'll be ok. Forgive me, Origin."

Satchel: "See? What'd I tell you? Start listening to me more, you loser!"

Janus: "Alright, alright! Not like I eat chocolate, anyway..."

Satchel: "Not like you eat, period!"

Janus stuffed the bag under his seat, where its voice could still be heard, though now muffled.

Janus: "Relax, Kirby. They're gone now. Just do what the guy said and eat some chocolate. Personally, I'd like to know why there's something as dangerous as those Dementors on this train, anyway. Especially if it has THAT kind of effect on a guy like Kirb."

While stuck in the wall, Janus lets his hammer fly at Shadow Man, and slips out from underneath the boomerang's pin! As it flies, the hammer knocks the star out of the way and continues on its course with Shadow Man!

Janus: "You wanna know? You're gonna have to kill me, first."

Fwip! Relieved of his hammer's weight, Janus moves even faster, appearing behind Shadow Man and tapping him on his shoulder, hoping to divert his attention from the flying hammer!

Grey: "Ah, my turn to help!"

From within his coat, Grey fires a small grappling hook up to the ceiling and uses it to maneuver along the spiked ceiling, over the spikes, and to Kirby and Teddylot.

"It's a bit dangerous, but the brave fear not the grave!"

The problem, of course, is that Grey is now where the two are, as opposed to getting them back safely...

Grey: "Well, maybe when the spikes come down, they'll hit the spikes directly opposite to them. I'm willing to bet that the people who designed this dungeon weren't smart enough to crocodile their spike traps."

"You know... Alligator teeth are all crooked, and they sometimes collide.... Crocs have perfectly lined up teeth? Anyway, it's bad. Or it would be, if they were. I dunno. I'm willing to try the maze of spikes idea, though..."

As Kirby rushes through the maze, Grey calmly places his left hand on the wall of spikes closest to him, and begins following it...

Darwin's theories on species point to an obvious difference in Yoshi types... Yoshis that needed to learn to speak, etc, to adapt to their environment did, and thus were able to survive in a world that requires yoshis that could somehow do more than squeak. The yoshis that did not need to speak, the wild yoshis or the ones that had no established civilization to speak of, needed none of the special evolutionary mechanisms that the yoshis Mario most often interacts with have.

For example, the wild yoshis of Yo'ster Isle in SMRPG had no enemies to fight, therefore they did not evolve the ability to make deadly, explosive eggs. The yoshi in Super Smash Brothers Melee, however, did. The Yoshis in Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Story OBVIOUSLY needed to defend themselves, so evolution kicked into overdrive.

It's the only way to explain OMG SUPER HAPPY MODE in Yoshi's Story.

Janus: "I've always thought of them as, well.... Trenchcoats, sorta. A friend of mine used to wear one. A.... a muggle, I guess is the right term."

Forcing Satchel open, Janus pulled from it a long, black robe that shimmered in the sun. Except, for some reason, if you looked directly at it, it didn't. Another odd difference with it was that Janus' buttoned up the front in a strange pattern, almost a confining manner....

"See? Sorta like a coat..."

I agree with Dracoon, it'd be much more prudent for America to strengthen its ties with other nations. It's just logic: If we think of America as one single person, and Russia, Japan, South Korea, etc. as single people, then America can see how good of a person they are through the opinions of the other people. It doesn't matter how good Americans think America is because the view of the average American is skewed in America's favor (or, oftentimes, very far and unfairly against it).

If our actions lead to friendship with other countries, then we know that what we're doing is right, as opposed to what we think is right. Right?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Red Alert a totally different universe that had nothing to do with the Tiberium universe? That's what I always thought, anyway.... Far as I know, GDI wasn't capable of Chronosphere technology in TS or TD, and neither was NOD. Plus, neither GDI nor NOD are mentioned at all in Red Alert.

In any case, I still see Red Alert 2 as one of the greatest RTS games ever made, certainly superior to stuff like Age of Empires and Lords of the Realm. It's right tied equally with Warcraft III and Starcraft as my favorite RTS games.

Woohoo, KH 1 1/2!

I'm still a bit fuzzy on exactly how the card fighting system works.... someone mind clearing that up for me? I don't see how a card battle system would work in real time action, which is what I assumed the game was gonna be.

In any case, I'll pick it up just so I can see what happens between KH and KH2. I've been waiting a long time since Deep Dive.

I cannot multitask for crap. In fact, I should be doing homework right now. Instead, I'm posting here and participating in several AIM conversations at once. Go figure.

So, what's wrong with Anya spamming? She DOES have a syndrome named after her, and she's been "gone" for god knows how long.

If she's back, I have a proposition for her.
