| Janus looks down at Satchel, wondering if his talking inanimate object counted as a pet... Janus: "Well, I kinda have this bag---" Satchel: "Don't listen to this idiot! I'm no pet! I'm a fully sentient magical storage unit!" The bag didn't seem to have a mouth to speak out of, and its folds didn't open or close at the seams, or anything. When you were around it, words just sorta came out, and you got this gut feeling that they came from the bag, no matter how crazy the idea seemed. Janus: "It's pretty much filling the position of "eternal companion" for me..." Satchel: "HE! Not IT! For the last damn time! I'm a guy!" |

| OOC: Sweet, another artifact. But, uh, what's it do? Janus: "Whoa! He's gotten better at that trick... A LOT better, I didn't even notice him teleport. Heh, another ally... that's awesome. Really awesome." He looks at the gold ring, wondering what it does. He tosses it up into the air and holds his right hand with fingers facing upward, as the ring lands neatly on his ring finger. "Yeah! This just might work. Now then... Where's my next destination?" A crackle is heard from Janus' wrist, and then a familiar voice rings out over it. Grey: "Janus, I've tracked the location of three people having a battle on another planet... Some guy called "Reydam" is there, along with the ninja Jarukoth, and someone I've never seen before." Janus: "Jarukoth and Reydam? Perfect, I can't wait to see them. What time?" Grey: "About.... 50 years before where you are. My time." Janus: "Good. I'm on my way." Janus holds his hammer out, and swings it in a wide circle, opening a portal to another time. Before he steps through it... (thinking) 'Schwa... Thank you for all you've done, my friend....' And then there were none... |

The bag, who had clearly become rather rotten tempered over the past few minutes, zippered itself up and in a strange motion that could be rather easily mistaken for Janus dropping it, rolled off his lap and underneath his seat. Janus: "So..... what does he eat?"

Blue: "You two would do well to let go of each other: I think it is plainly obvious that we will not be harmed here." Red: "You think so? You really think so? I sure as hell don't!" Blue: "Argh... imbecile." Blue turned toward Kyr'Shei. Blue: "Do not mind him, he is, at times, a bit of a hothead."

Stepping through a hastily-made time portal, Janus appears beside Schwa's party, having heard his call. He draws out his hammer, adjusts his suit tie, pushes his sunglassess up his nose, and addresses the Shadows. "Now, you listen to ME. This isn't my story. I'm not supposed to be here right now. This is a favor for Schwa. You guys are gonna stop messing around with the timeline, right now!" Slamming his hammer into the ground, Janus kicks up a massive, explosive rift that throws the shadows of the party flying in multiple directions. "Schwa, I know that was sorta breaking the rules there, but I couldn't really help it. You wanna repay me? In about 51 years, tell me what this ring does." Before he steps back through his time portal, Janus shows Schwa a gold ring with two gems on it, a ruby and an amethyst. "And if THIS doesn't cause a time paradox, I don't know what will." He steps through the portal and closes it, hoping that was enough to save the group. ---------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, back with Kirbynite's group, Grey suddenly held his head in his hands, having felt the pains of a rather large migraine. At the exact same moment that Janus left the area, the migraine stopped. | ||||||||
