At "this", he looks at his newly-acquired Proto-Shield, and opens his bag, places it inside, and withdraws it instantly, a copy of it sealed within his bag for him to call upon later. "I'd hate to deprive Blues of his pride and joy. Now then, onward..." Placing the real Proto-Shield out in front of him, Janus creeps down the hallway, hammer in one hand, shield in the other. |

| OOC: Pandora's! Janus: "Oh, that's gotta stop. Agent Green?" The teenage boy in the black pinstriped suit pushed his sunglasses up his nose, ran his hand through a bright green shock of hair, and took a pocketknife from his suit jacket. He arose from his chair and casually strode through the ranks of the cafeteria, to the sound mixer for Kirbynite's P.A. system. Eyeing the #1 mic slot, he withdrew the pocketknife's metal blade, and touched it to the jack of the microphone cord connected to Schwa's mic. He sent a tiny shock through the knife, effectively shorting out the mic, cutting the number short by about a verse and a half. As the amplification of Schwa's voice faded, Green snapped his fingers, and gave Janus the thumbs up. "Thank you, Green. Now then, Schwa...." He casts a quick glance at the singing Psi Warrior, hoping he'll impart a bit of his wisdom upon the crowd. "....If you're not going to compete in our tournament, perhaps you'd be willing to judge?" |

| So I've been watching Fruits Basket again, and I saw the episode where Torhu gets sick, and Kyo decides to make some green onion soup for her to help her get better, because apparently green onion is a good cure for a cold. Let's say I wanted to make said green onion soup. Does it really exist or was it just a fictional food made for the purposes of the show? If it's real, can someone help me find a recipe? | I assumed the chain was in a line, which would need two: o|oo|oooo like that. Seven rings, two cuts. And what's more, if NSNick's answer is right, then that means my initial answer, three cuts leaving us with a link of one, a link of two, and a link of four, is right, but it's not because Teddylot said it was wrong.... | Janus' face immediately breaks into an almost eerie smile.... Janus: "Jeez, man. Since when is THIS an attack? Woo, it's totally false happiness, but man, I just... can't.... help myself!" (thinking): 'But.... damn... I know he's up to something, he's got to be, why else would he fire a Joy rocket at me? Now THAT's unorthodox... I just gotta keep my mind focused, and make sure I can still keep Iron Will going.' "I can tell you, I'm feeling pretty good about myself. I think I'll show you just what Heart of Steel does now." Janus' eyes glow blue, and his hammer's head floats in front of him, extending the handle to form a gliding second hand around the clock of his body. It ticked to twelve different locations, signifying the twelve numbers on a clock. It stops straight in front of Janus' face, at the "twelve" position. "This, Schwa, is my Heart of Steel technique, otherwise known as Metabolic Regulation. With it, I can keep my blood flowing at a constant rate, never slowing down, never speeding up, allowing me to keep a constant amount of energy in my body, and effectively freeze it in the time that Heart of Steel activates. I've managed to divide it into twelve levels. I'll start off at level one..." The hammer's handle ticks from "twelve" to "one." Janus grabs his hammer out of the air, and moves with unremarkable speed towards Schwa. There doesn't seem to be much of a change in him... Yet. He swings his hammer in an overhead strike, but intentionally misses, hits the ground, and throws a chunk of earth at Schwa! "And don't think I've forgotten about Psi Vortex, either. You've just forced me to attack you indirectly, Schwa. This isn't over yet!" |

As he lies on his back, Janus holds the hammer in the clock position again, moving "one" to "two." He leaps to his feet, and a tiny trickle of blood streams from his lips, the product of Schwa's latest maneuver. "You know, old man, I still don't like the fact that you're calling me "lad."
