| Janus: "And so do they...." As Janus says this, his hammer circles quickly around him, blocking Star's attack! He grabs his hammer, leaps above Star and dives toward him like a falcon! "Picture someone ten times stronger than me at this level. Now picture five of them! They're the ones who gave me this armor, the ones who made certain that I'd never live a normal life!" Intentionally missing Star in his dive, Janus rolls along the ground and comes out of his roll flinging his hammer! |

| Janus: "That was ages ago!" He said this right as the hammer clanged off Star's shield, and recalled it. "Literal ages! Hundreds of thousands of years! Don't think I've wasted this cursed life I lead. I spend every day thinking of ways to beat them, every day making myself stronger. And now this.... Now this! I'm well on my way there, that's for sure. When I get strong enough, I'm gonna take them all on, and show them why they never should have cursed me in the first place!" Janus turns his back to Star... "But I'll need help. That's why I called you here today, actually...." Janus walks over to the amazingly still-intact grave of Agent Red. "He was there when I first tried. He didn't help me, though. We were enemies back then. But gradually, we grew to be best friends, once I showed him that what he was doing was wrong. I'm going to go back in time again, Star. To get him from where he is now and to take him, as well as Green and Blue, to help me defeat the people who did this to me. There are others I'm going to ask for help, as well. I want to form a team. A group of people to help me destroy the evils in my life, and whom I can help in return. We would all work together to achieve peace in one another's lives." The white light surrounding Janus fades, as he returns to normal, and his shoulders slump slightly from sheer exhaustion. "But first, I need to learn to control the power I've discovered within myself. Don't answer me today if you don't want to, Star. I still need time to figure out what to do. Time travel is risky, and taking heroes from all around history would prove extremely dangerous. But if you do want to help me, you can start by gathering allies. We're going to need them. Understand, though, that all of them must be returned to their normal times. Nobody can die here. I think that's enough from me. What do you say?" |

| Sooooo....... http://www.animesuki.com/series.php/492.html I think that pretty much says what I'm trying to say. Am I the only one excited about this? I know the subbing is pretty crappy, but I'm looking forward to it, VJ was one of my favorite games, and I think it's cool that they're trying to bring it to anime. |

| Well, this certainly explains a lot about our Cyber-Ninja friend... I actually wasn't really a fan of the Mortal Kombat series, it just didn't appeal to me. That was back when I was a little kid, though, and fighting games just didn't catch my eye. Nowadays, I suppose I'd pick one up if I thought it was interesting, like Marvel vs. Capcom or Guilty Gear, but to me, MK is something I remember from my days of spending time at the roller rink, watching the adults play and not really knowing what they were doing. |

| Janus turns back toward Star, and calls out to him before he manages to leave... Janus: "Hold it, Star! You're not thinking in the right terms here. There's many more people than just us out there. We can travel across space and time with ease, you and I. That's why I called you of all people. Think about it; Many of our friends are just young fighters, warriors who have not realized their full potential yet. Even I have yet to fulfill this goal, and I doubt I ever will. You, too, can get stronger, Star. We all can. That's the point I was trying to make, we need to find people when they're at their best!" "This isn't the only universe that exists, you know. Of course you'd know, you can travel through time. Every time we alter some event in the past, the future branches off! Millions of alternate universes exist, with millions of possibilities for allies. I've seen it; you have, too, if I recall correctly. There's a universe out there other than ours, one where we don't exist, where strange things happen that we'd never imagine! Have you ever heard of Kirbynite, the Dreamlander? What about Melvin, President of Japan? Of course not, because they don't exist in this universe! But if we find some way to travel across universes, to find these people and make them our allies, then I know we can form a team strong enough to defeat the evil that plagues me, and soon the rest of our world, so! And in return, I'll help whoever I can. It's worth that much to me." Janus extends his hand, shakes Star's before he can resist, and smiles, finishing his speech. "Thank you for your partnership, I feel as though I have a reason to live now." He grips his hammer, and it glows slightly. Swinging it, he opens a hole in time and space, but says one last sentence before he steps though... "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go speak with Schwa...." |

| As Schwa kneels to the earth, a hole in space and time rips wide open... Janus: "Woo, that never gets old!" It's Janus, come back after 53 (a heck of a lot more than that to him, actually...) years of Schwa's life! Interesting thought, of course, that he would be so late in coming back, but the entire reason for his appearance is because of the years of experience Schwa's gained.... It should also be noted that Janus, while totally full of energy, also appears to be completely torn up... His clothes are ripped, he's got bruises all over his body, and there appears to be a huge wound in the middle of his chest. "Perfect timing! Man, am I glad to see you! Alright, here's what's up: I just came out of a fight with none other than Star, the Time Champion! I've finally figured it out, I've finally figured out why I can't die, and what I need to do to get revenge on the people who've cursed me! It's total genius! I just have to get rid of the people who cursed me, and I'll be able to live a normal, albeit eternal, life! Anyway....." Janus doesn't even bother to check the possibly bewildered expression on Schwa's face... "My point is, I'm raising an army, and you're probably (especially at this point in time) the strongest single person I can think of to help me. So let me ask you this: How much stronger have you gotten in 50 years? It's gotta be a lot; I know you don't really do much more than fight the forces of evil around here... Care to show me? | Blue: "Why, you..... winning and losing mean nothing to those who have no desire to win!" Blue is livid at this point: Tuxydon's really starting to push his buttons. The ice shield remains intact; if anything, physical attacks will be hard-pressed to destroy it... Blue, however, holds his left arm out, as the air around it becomes very cold... "However, at this point, we need to keep Schwa safe for as long as we can, and as long as I breathe the air of life, I will not allow you to harm him!" His entire arm is freezing now, as the cold energy continues to focus around his hand... |

| I've been one to say Nintendo cares more about gamers than other companies, and that they take the time and effort to make sure their first party titles please. With the Nintendo Revolution, I believe they will follow the time-honored tradition of making kickass first party titles, but at the same time doing something so alienating (IE. N64 cartridges, Minidiscs/no online play...) to the third party crowd that they'll have to thrive on Mario, Zelda, and Metroid titles alone. This may not be the case, but regardless of what happens, I'm looking forward to whatever new tricks Nintendo has up their sleeve (as they usually do). |

| Janus: "Ah.... Thanks a bunch, Schwa... You don't know how much I needed that. Have you heard from Star at all? He's gotten very strong. But then again, I have too. And from the sound of it, you've been very busy yourself." Janus takes his bag, already converted into a hammer from his previous fight, and flourishes it around him, showcasing the knowledge and skill that came only from years of experience. Of course, Janus' training was hardly as grueling as Schwa's, for sure. In fact, it almost seems as though the roles have been reversed; Where Schwa was once the man who learned from wisdom, now his power is wrought from hard work and diligent meditation. Likewise, Janus' years of experience have given him strength, as opposed to the strict regimen he followed many years ago... "I can't wait to see what new tricks you've learned... Here's one of mine!" "Icewind!" Icewind! A freakish mutation of Janus' tornado technique and Blue's Blizzard, Janus opens with this cold move! Spinning into a whirlwind, shards of ice surround him and form a protective barrier of frozen water. "You've fought Agent Blue before, right? He taught me how to do this before I left them all behind..." |

"Wow, that's some strong stuff.... Well...." Attempt #2! Janus runs up to the Metool a second time, this time aiming a golf-shot straight under the Metool's helmet! If he times it right, what he wanted to do to the Grenade robots should be done to the Mets... |

| You haven't played Viewtiful Joe? Picture something like Final Fight, but much more stylized, and there's cool special movie effects-based powers and stuff. I can't really describe it too well. Anyway, I'm just looking forward to the action scenes, if the action in the anime is anything like the game action, it'll kick ass. Wonder what they're doing for plot, though...? |

| The barrier's certainly shattered, but Janus isn't... Instead, a hole in the ground can be seen as Schwa's Omega Psibeam starts to curve downward before it collides with the tornado. Janus is underground! Certainly an old pattern of attack to use, but there's a twist to this one... As Janus bursts out of the ground near Schwa, he's on fire! "Red's Fire!!!" Everything's better when it's on fire, right? Well, not necessarily for Schwa here... In fact, considering Janus burst out of the ground right next to Schwa, he's in a perfect position to do a flaming tackle-type attack. Which he does. And it's firey. |

| Alright, my senior year in high school's finally here. And for science, I copped out of Honors Physics 2 Advanced Placement for a class called The Earth and The Environment. I went from doing kinematics equations to going outside and studying leaves and identifying trees by their leaves and bark. It's kinda paradisial, no really hard classes for Science, leaving me to devote more time to more important core classes. But I find it a bit stupid at the same time. I'm in the same classes as the jackasses in my school who do nothing but smoke pot and screw off in class, and with the exception of a friend of mine and a few other people who have also shown extremely reasonable amounts of intelligence, the people in the class are, for the most part, total idiots. So in the usual style of my thread postings, after this long monologue, I'm asking you all, have you ever had a class like this? One where it's so easy you can turn off your brain and get an A, but it's filled with jackasses at the same time? It's a double-edged sword, I guess. |
