Anyone, anyone at all, that thinks it's a good idea to patronize me.

People who talk about my past (with few exceptions).

This one asshole at the mall that thinks it's funny to freestyle on the DDR machine. Except he sucks at it. Royally. And sucks intentionally because he knows it pisses people who actually want to play off.

Chandeliers. I hate chandeliers, but only the really needlessly elaborate ones. Tacky ones, too.

My father's sense of decor.

In hopes that Kario's wrong, did the Russians "reprogram" him and feed him propaganda about what the Germans were doing, and he killed himself when he realized that it was all more or less true?

Why, God, why won't you release it for PC? I don't WANT an Xbox!

I realize only time will tell, but this thing might actually be the straw that breaks the camel's back for me. I told myself I'd never get an Xbox, but this just seems too good to pass up, especially now that I can't reinstall KOTOR on my computer.

Janus: "Of course I can!"

As Star charged at Janus, Janus allows Star to drive his blade straight into Janus' metal hauberk, and just when it seems like Star's about to pierce straight through him, the blade is stopped, right on the outside of the armor. Janus grabs Star's blade and holds it tight. Blood begins to trickle down Star's sword as Janus' grip gets tighter, and as he slowly drives the blade into himself, through the armor and into his flesh.

"This armor is a part of the reason I can't die, Star. Its curse protects me from physical death, any wound I'm given can be healed, even if it takes 100 years. Not only that, but it can't be broken, I've tried everything from hitting it with my hammer to taking a hundred blows from a hundred warriors at once. I can't take it off."

Janus grins, his eyes flickering an eerie blue color, as he backs away from Star's blade, still holding it tight. An open wound can be seen in his midsection, yet there is very little blood. The wound does not close, and stays stationary as it is, still not letting a large amount of Janus' blood out. Some magical force is keeping the wound from being fatal, an example of the cursed hauberk he wears. It's plainly obvious that Janus is in pain.

"Of course, that doesn't stop me from being hurt, just from dying. It's very nerve wracking!"

Janus discharges his lightning into Star's blade!

A good reason not to? Nobody's gonna try to change your opinion, this is a country borne of freedom of speech and expression, and nobody has a reason to change what they want you to say.

Janus' speech is a bit distorted at this point, time is definitely not on his side today... As different functions of his body are performed at different speeds, he can feel the effects everywhere... His heart's beating is out of line with the air he's breathing, his brain begins to pound from lack of oxygen... Yet he speaks anyway.

Janus: "Itwentt.......th...r..oughebecauseILe....t.....it!"

To try to keep his personal time frame stable, Janus clumsily clasps his hands together, and shouts out a spell...

"Haste!"

As the spell takes effect, Janus zooms about, stabilizing the time stream around him, and leaving him moving (and talking) very quickly.

"Therethat'sabitbetter,wouldn'tyousay?Nowthen,where'smyhammer?Ah,thereitis!"

Not noticing how fast he's moving, Janus runs over to his hammer, which he dropped when he grabbed Star's blade. The spell begins to wear off, just as he picks up the hammer. Time is back in perspective. Sort of, anyway...

"Wow, that was pretty good, I still have a headache! The fact is, Star, the protection from my armor is involuntary, I can turn it off if I keep my will concentrated on it, but the moment I pass out from the pain of a fatal wound it goes right back in and I start to heal up. I guess I've got one hell of a survival instinct. However, when I actually wake up from the wound is a different story."

Janus is fast. Very fast. Star sees this firsthand as, in the time it takes him to look at Janus, blink an eye, and refocus his eyes, Janus is at his side, swinging his hammer!

Janus: "Argh, I don't like the look of that lightning, and I didn't want to use a game, either.... But I have to be ready for anything!"

Reaching into his bag hammer, Janus pulls out a disc and looks at it fervently, his eyes glistening that bright blue color. It's almost as if he's scanning the disc with his eyes...

"This'll take me some time, but it's all I've got!"

Joe's a supervisor, Clem's a dirtworker. Since Joe is accustomed to having his face clean, he constantly makes sure it's clean. Clem, however, has the mindset that he will get dirty again no matter how much he wipes his face, and therefore doesn't bother wiping his face while still at work. Instead, he will most likely wait until he gets home.

*Scan stopped*

"Dammit!" Janus says as he is ripped away from his task by the bolt of lightning, "I need more time!"

Suddenly, he gets an idea. Taking his bag, he slams it, in hammer form, into the ground, kicking up a rush of earth that in the blink of an eye packs into a small, 3 foot high wall for him to duck behind. The dirt, of course, does not conduct electricity. He then resumes his scan.

"This should hold you for a little longer...."

I have a list. Math class, english class, physics class, band class (several times, the flutes make me sleepy), this year in study, in band again, physics 2 class, english class (but not as much as a friend of mine)...

I've also fallen asleep while waiting for my turn to come up in a play rehearsal, nearly fell asleep at a school football game, while waiting for a guidance appointment, at lunch...

But I think the most often I've ever fallen asleep in any class was my history class last year. There were maybe three classes in which I didn't feel drowsy at all. Two of them were exam days.

It's a basic, but I think the best animal in the game had to be the sheep. The generic, floaty hop, totally useless sheep. Why?

Your special attack was "Baaaaa..."

I also give props to the missile launching dog on wheels, the kangaroo, the high-powered foot rabbit, and any incarnation of the fox. Because the fox is badass.

RPGs? Final Fantasy Tactics, it's an oldie but a goodie. Also worth looking at is Kingdom Hearts, Megaman Battle Network, and definitely Tales of Symphonia, that game's genius.

As for other stuff, I'd highly recommend Viewtiful Joe for either GC or PS2, but I'm betting there's a good chance you already have it, along with several other games I've mentioned.

The .hack games (PS2) are pretty good for lightweight RPGs, and you said you have a lot of money, so you might wanna give them a try. The action's kinda basic, but the story's excellent.

If you have an Xbox, Morrowind's a good alternative to Fable for a nice, open-ended RPG. Personally I like completing the main quest then going on a mission to eradicate every single NPC in the game. It's.... interesting, to say the least.

I loved Vincent, it's be pretty neat of Square did something unorthodox with him. I can't seriously see his adventure being an RPG, he seems too actiony to do that. A Devil May Cry style, perhaps. It'd fit in with his demonesque transformations. But the problem with an action game is that Square, with the exception of Kingdom Hearts and possibly Einhander, doesn't do action games all that well, so I'd be pretty surprised if they managed to pull off a high-powered action game with Vincent.

Meh, I guess that's the fanboyism in me talking.

I got a new one!

Much like Banedon, I can't stand it when people smile huge fake smiles and act overly nice to intentionally mock someone, that someone usually being me. It pisses me off.

Society goes in circles, pretty soon people will go back to conforming just to be sure that they don't conform with the nonconformists....

It makes me dizzy just thinking about it.
