Blue (clearly in pain): "Fire.... and.... ICE!"

Tossed from the tornado engulfed in flames, Blue rolls on the ground and puts the fire out with the help of some water he managed to conjure amonst the pain of his firey retreat. His suit is burnt, the edges of his hair are slightly singed, and he himself is very badly burned. However, he's still standing. Smoking, but standing.

"Fire is not going to stop me, Dracoon. I will prove that to you!"

Having thrown his iceballs aside when the tornado became flaming, Blue recalls them finally and restores his projectile shield, forming two more iceballs to add to the four he already had. They begin moving very quickly around him again. Little does Dracoon know, Blue's having trouble moving around after that last attack, it'll take him some time to regain his stamina. Despite being a man of ice and water, fire still seems to hurt him quite a bit.

"Schwa, I'm thinking I need a quick breather, how are you holding up?"

All of their limit breaks suck.

But seriously, in FFVIII, those three characters never undergo a change of costume.

Blue: "I am not a cursing man, but.... SHIT!"

Extending his iceballs into wide sheets of ice, Blue tries to soften the blow of the attack, and succeeds only slightly, as the attack eventually breaks through the ice, hitting Blue and enveloping him in its light. When the attack passes, Blue, burnt nearly to a crisp and just barely grasping his life by what little of it is left, collapses to the ground in a heap. Facing upward, he spits a bit of blood out of his mouth, weakly pushes his sunglasses up his nose, and raises his head in order to speak.

"..........I....think the fight is over for me..."

His head drops to the floor. He's out, only half-conscious at this point.

"Can... we hear what Schwa... has to say now...?"

OOC: Uh.... it's the entire purpose behind his character, taking techniques and artifacts from games and using them in handy situations. Check his SB profile for more details. It's not my turn...

And another side note: Nobody messes with the Sky Runner.

From the ground, a watch on Blue's wrist begins blinking...

Red: "Blue? Blue, come in! The TV's broken again and I want to watch TV! I don't know where you've been all day, but Witch Hunter Robin's gonna be on soon, and if I don't get my hot pyromaniac anime heads are gonna roll!"

Green: "He's not lying! He already tried it once on me!"

Red: "I'm only mad at rookieboy here cause it was his fault! Damn electrical rodent!"

Green: "Well, you told me to get up and change the channel! What was I supposed to do? It's not like I can control when stuff short circuits!"

Red: "Dammit kid, I'll wring your neck for that!"

Blue (weakly): "Evan... This is Blue... I have been out on an investigation involving Janus and a man named Origin. I got into a bit of a scuffle along the way, and am currently in need of some aid. Also, from my investigation a new issue has evolved. I believe I will require your assistance for this mission, I suggest you and Green get over here soon, and bring a nano... I desperately need one."

Red: "Blue, that you? Man, you sound like you've been to hell and back! Better not take any chances with this one... We'll be right there, send us the coordinates!"

After pushing several buttons on his wristwatch, Agent Red and Green teleport into the warehouse, with Green holding a small purple capsule. Green pours the capsule into Blue's mouth, and a few minutes later Blue manages to get off the ground. He's clearly the victim of accelerated healing, and several minutes later he is back on his feet and looks in the very least well enough to walk.

Blue: "Ah, my thanks are extended. It will take me some time to get back to top condition, but for now, I belive I will be alright. Now then...."

Over the course of the next few minutes, Blue explains the situation to Red and Green. Both seem rather interested, and at the mention of the destruction of all life, alarmed.

Red: "Well, there's not much we can do but help. I don't know how much we'll be, but considering how hard you fell to that guy" (he motions to Dracoonx4) "over there, it looks like some extra power would be just the thing for this mission."

Green: "Red's right, we'll give you all the help you need! ...If you need it, that is..."

Blue: "I believe I may, Green. I believe I may..."

This is gonna suck, but...

If the cabin isn't still standing, then did the people have a hand in destroying it?

I think the main reason so many people were against it is because squaresoft has a penchant for making strong, intelligent, compelling characters with deep personalities and interesting pasts. However, with the release of FFXI, this need for impressive characters was thrown to the wood chipper as soon as the first user with the name Sephiroth7231121 (sorry bout that DS ) started playing. The plot itself may be brilliant, but when your cast of characters includes the noble red mage Cloud1337 and the devious thief SSJOMEGATIDUS, it tends to get a bit redundant.

The problem with MMORPGs is that no matter where you go, there will be some degree of stupid people. And squaresoft doesn't go well with stupid, as we've seen in the past. So it's not really square's fault because they didn't make a bad game, they just made a game so good that the stupid people want to play it too.

Your characters were entirely capable of dying permanently in FFTA. I lost a few myself. Remember the Jagds? if you were good enough to get them all, then you would see that several of the fights there were with people entirely capable and glad to beat you into the dirt and leave you six feet under.

And forgive me if I'm wrong, but did I not say that if you played it, and didn't like it, then I had no problem with that? You played it. You didn't like it. Alright, fine. I played it, and I did like it. We're obviously at a point/counterpoint situation here. I could go on all day about how much I like the game and you could go on for just as long about how much it sucks. Seems the only thing we're in agreement with here is that FFT was better. So why can't we leave it at that?

I agree, there's no way I'd choke down a McDonald's burger nowadays. Back before I started losing weight, I remember I'd eat at fast food chains constantly. When I stayed at my father's house, he'd get McDonald's breakfasts. When my mother was too late to cook a healthy dinner, she'd get us food from Burger King. And I'd always eat it, all of it, all of that fat and grease and oil and salt, and I didn't think twice about it. Nowadays I can't even stand to look at a fast food burger without getting sick.

I always enjoy these animations that you make, they're very well done. Why not start posting them in the Art section? Then you could see the criticism that people who don't look at the Super Mario section would be willing to give.

Blue: "Well, I believe.....---"

Red (Extending his hand): "Hey there! Nice to meet you! You're one of the guys that kicked Blue's ass, right?"

Red assertively shakes Schwa's hand before Schwa can react to his sudden introduction, showing a genial air about him that somehow suggests he thinks he's slightly better than everyone else. However, he is quickly humbled as Blue puts a very cold hand on his shoulder, causing him to yelp with surprise.

Blue: "Red..... As I was saying. Allow me to introduce you to Evan WIlliams, also known as Agent Red. The young man to his left is Jason Miller, more commonly known as Agent Green. It would be in the best interest of the group to refer to them by their codenames, and if you would do us that service we would gladly appreciate it."

Green: "Yeah, I like being called Green a lot more than my other name..."

Green extends his hand to Schwa as well, taking it and shaking it firmly, though a bit shakily. After all, if this man had managed to defeat Janus, then chances are he could beat Green into the dirt. Green, however, is largely unperturbed by Schwa's presence.

Blue: "I am sure, of course, that Dracoon has already heard of the three of us, if he has spoken to Origin about Janus. In any case, we still require a course of action based on our current situation. A suggestion of one from you would be very helpful."
