Blue: "Ack! Shield Of Ice!"

A solid shield of Permafrost rises from the ground around Blue, only to be blasted to bits by Dracoonx4's power shot. When the dust clears, Blue is unharmed, but visibly shaken. He didn't come here to fight, but if he has to...

"I see. Well, if that is the way you want to play..."

Blue pushes his sunglasses up his nose and stares directly at Dracoonx4 and Schwa, anticipating a battle between the three of them. A buckler made of ice forms itself around Blue's left arm, as a blade of ice, drawn from the water vapor in the air, comes into existance in his right hand.

"This is Permafrost, it is a very dense type of ice that I am able to make by deep freezing the air around my body. It is extremely strong, but seeing as how you were able to blow through an entire wall of it, I am guessing it is not going to be the ultimate defense in this situation. That said, do not take me as a simpleton! I will end this if you wish. Just do not do anything rash!"

Red: "Right, this is getting boring, time to tag myself in!"

Red incinerates his lawn chair and melts a hole in Blue's ice shield, engulfing himself in flames and stretching a bit to join in the fight. He looks a tad excited now that Jarukoth has join in as well. It's certain to get interesting now.

"Blue, keep an eye on Green for me? You guys can join in later, I think I'll get warmed up a bit first!"

Blue: "As you wish, sir. Just do not come back here too badly beaten, considering what you just did to my ice wall, I doubt I am going to be very obliging towards a plea for help."

Red nonchalantly waves his hand at Blue.

Red: "Yeah, yeah, whatever. I'll be careful. Now let's heat things up a bit!"

Red flares up, dashing madly through the crowd of fighters, flames spreading out from his sides and burning along the ground! (in other words, the next person who posts is who he rushes at first)

Blue: "Grrr... Just because I'm not as fast as him, doesn't mean I'm not a match for you!"

Annoyed and slightly stunned by Schwa's quickness, Blue decides to fight speed with raw power, throwing his buckler at Schwa and expanding it into a gigantic disc of ice headed straight for him!

OOC: One question about the rules here, guys... It's one attack per round, but is that per person or total?

I'd love to be a kitty... Imagine it, it'd kick ass. All you do is eat and sleep all day, and whenever a human sees you, you get scratched behind the ears. Even as a human, do you have any clue how awesome it is to get scratched behind the ears? It's the bestest best thing ever in the world.

.....It's kinda funny how easy I am to please...

Grey: Actually, it IS good seeing as how we are extremely disadvantaged in Canada when it comes to anime. We had an advantage over the United States exactly ONCE and that was during the Sailor Moon period. It became extremely popular over here and moved quite a bit of merchandise. Then we just really fell behind. If I want to go buy an anime DVD, I'm likely going to have to pay between $40-50 Canadian just for one. And don't get me started on box sets.

While those four might not be the cream of the crop (we still haven't gotten Cowboy Bebop, no word if we'll get FMA, etc.), it's still a start. The fact YTV's willing to pick up four series shows that they want to try make anime a little more mainstream for the Canadian public. (The real major acquisition last year was Inuyasha which became much more popular than YTV thought it would be - with a 10 PM time slot!)

Actually, Fruits Basket is being shopped around to Canadian stations. That would be one advantage over you guys if we got it but it doesn't seem likely.

Alrighty, if you guys get Fruits Basket before us, I'm definitely gonna be pissed. That series rocks. And when you say YTV, is that a dubbing company or a television network?

Red's aura flares up as he burns a hole in the Earth Dragon, the impact of Korra's throw hurting him, but not so badly that he cannot continue onward. Deciding not to attack so randomly, he instead focuses his attention on MBK, all fifty of them!

Red: "So, we've got a million small attacks... Let's see how that stands against one BIG ONE!"

Red waves his hands, and discharges his fires at the crowd of Kirbys, causing a jet of flames to erupt from his fingertips and head straight through the crowd!

"FLAMETHROWER!!!"

Come to think of it, I'd be Maddox too. His life sucks, but he kicks ass.

Nah, I'd rather be a kitty. After all, there's nothing wrong with SOME parts of the whole catgirl thing. I stand by my statement that having cat ears would kick ass.

Blue: "Origin, we were planning on simply interrogating him a second time, he's another being that's far too strong to deal with forcefully. As for Janus, however, surely you know that fighting Janus is simply what we do? Nearly every major disaster we've encountered thus far has had something to do with him in a direct or indirect way. We've been told he is a real threat to the world's safety, and must be dealt with as such. Mind, he's never actually caused any disasters that we've investigated, but catastrophe seems to follow him wherever he goes. In order to stop that, he must be eliminated. If you help us by telling us where you last saw him, or perhaps where he mentioned he was going, then we can do this all the faster."

Janus walks back into the Tournament registration room. As he closed his cell phone and placed it back in his bag, a look of dismay crossed his face.

"Sorry, MBK. Looks like he said no. I'm gonna back out of this one, myself. I'll go find food somewhere else, but good luck finding a team anyway, from the looks of the ranks, it appears as though several teams could use new members, why not join one of them? It'd certainly be more productive than having another two man team needing a third..."

Trodding over the fallen zombie's body and giving it a kick in the side as he did, Janus continues his conversation with Kirbynite.

Janus: "Those human farms sound a bit gruesome. You guys just let this go on outside your town? Seems a bit daft, in my opinion..."

There is a pause, and he continues trying to wring a conversation out of the dark and dreary path.

"So we've moved from being a bunch of random people to an official Ragtag Group now? Brilliant, that means things are really starting to pick up. Now then, we've deduced that we're heading in the right direction, the only question that needs answering is what we're heading for. Any clues? Anyone? Anyone at all..."

Blue: "So, you know of my compatriots. You want to read their minds? Why, so you can discover all of our secrets? Stop trying to provoke me, if you have seen the two of them fight then you should know that while I may not be as strong as them, I am certainly smart enough not to fall into a senseless rage brought on by your lashing tongue. If I have to take you out to take him out, then so be it! But enough talk, have at him!"

With overall bad feelings flowing, Blue's Permafrost blade glints beneath the warehouse's glowing fluorescent lights and makes its way toward Schwa. Blue, a mediocre swordsman in his own right, is moving clumsily, but still dangerously nonetheless. It's obvious that he's a thinker, not a fighter.

Blue doesn't much like Schwa's attitude, but there's very little he can really do to dodge the homing rocket of Schwa's attack, and is tossed around violently by the rocket's explosive power. When he gets to his feet, unsure of the effect of Schwa's obviously psychic attack, he notices Schwa's hands covered in fire. Real fire, not the ethereal kind Blue's heard about.

Blue: "So, he has gotten some allies now... And strong ones they are indeed. But this is new, I've never heard of this kind of fighting. However, fire against me is quite fortuitous..."

Blue snaps to attention, and gets a brilliant idea. As Schwa and Dracoon battle it out, Blue slowly begins to coat the area in a fine, wet mist, a concentrated version of the water vapor in the air around the fighters. He gathers it, and eventually the three fighters begin to notice a strange wetness about them, as Dracoon and Blue's visibility is reduced. Of course, Schwa suffers no effect from this attack, other than the fires on his hands being slightly dampened, the mist is hardly enough to suffocate them.

"This attack isn't quite meant for you, Schwa, but I'll see what I can do with it!"

The mist keeps gathering, eventually it will be so thick that it will seem like there are actual floods of water floating in the air...

OOC: By that logic the Kirbster himself would be able to copy anything by just sucking the air in. He's gotta suck it all down. Just think of a clever and interesting way to catch someone off guard, we've all played SSB:M, and we've all sucked someone in using Kirby, it's entirely possible.

Red: "Rain. I. Hate. Rain. I hate it. Why did they have to make it rain again? Why?"

Team Gemini's just discovered Red's biggest fear, and the main reason why Blue can keep him in line: Red is deathly afraid of water (and being a fire-user, why wouldn't he be?). Red is frozen to the spot, flaring his aura as hot as he can to try to vaporize the drops of water before they can hit him. So far its's working. He's shaken, but not stirred. He regains his composure and hopes nobody saw that quick moment of weakness. If the rain keeps up, Red doesn't know how long he can with it, but he's damn well gonna try. And as for Jarukoth, seven vs. one doesn't seem like good odds for Korra, so Red runs over to him to try to help! However, as he runs, the water on the ground causes him to slip and slide his way over to the seven Jarukoth clones. As he rolls, Red sets himself even further afire, becoming like a meteor along the ground. Moving toward them like a big, flaming bowling ball, Red's sure to hit some of them if they don't do something fast! Korra'd better watch himself as well, just in case Red goes off course...

I was scared of a couple things in gaming; The Giygas battle in Earthbound, 90% of Eternal Darkness (didn't stop me from playing it, of course), particularly the random limbs being chopped off and that enemy that could give you an instant death if you weren't careful. Then there was my first encounter with the SA-X in Metroid Fusion... The Gohma battle in Zelda: OoT (when she dropped down from the ceiling and the camera was positioned so that she was RIGHT BEHIND ME)... Yeah, I'm a gaming wuss.

While I must agree with DS here, he's bumping threads that people can still post in, these are actually interesting general topics.

For content's sake, The very first game I ever played was Duck Hunt. Yes, duck hunt at my cousin's house. That was probably the absolute worst day of my life, as it started me down the path to the life I live right now, but at the same time, it was just so damn fun! Cause the dog! He'd laugh at me, but I couldn't shoot him, so I just shot the ducks instead to make sure he didn't laugh! And I got pretty good at it too, considering I was like, 4 or something. Hey, for those of you who played Duck Hunt, did you ever just hold the gun up to the screen and cheat like that? Man, that's cheap but it's fun.

Ah, I miss the old days....
