| OOC: Marina? Janus has a slightly skeptical look on his face. It's obvious the strange lady is not an enemy to him, but before today, he honestly thought he'd seen everything. Janus: "Man, this just keeps getting more and more interesting." He walks up to the woman and tries to get a better look at her. "Who might you be? You certainly don't look like everyone else here. In fact, you look extremely different from everyone else around here." He continues to look her over, moving around her and treating her as though she were a spectacle of some sort. Obviously, he's being very rude, but he doesn't seem to notice it at all. Janus then looks back to the rest of the group. "I'll assume things are only going to get stranger?" |

| Janus: "Hey now, I'll go too, but I have to say you're being a bit hasty there, buddy." Janus grabs Jack just before he dashes off to the scene of battle, and maintains a firm grip on his shoulder, trying to act as a voice of reason. Janus: "Hold on there, it looks like the big metal thingy's got this fight covered. Besides, it's 2 on 3, and a very big two on a relatively small three at that. Do you really think they need us? I say we stay back and help them when they need it. Somehow I get the feeling we'd be more of a hinderance than a help to them." Janus steps in front of Jack, blocking his way and waiting to see how the fight will unfold. |

| To move out of the way of the oncoming tornado, Janus dives into a dodge roll, but it's too late, the elemental managed to catch him off guard and envelope him within its swirling winds. Whipped and shocked by the Air Elemental's rage, Janus is throws heavily to the ground, shocked and bruised. Janus: "It's... a good thing I'm used.... to that sort of attack..." Janus picks himself up, and shakes off the shocks of Schwa's tornado. He appears dazed, but little else harmed. "Fortunately for me, when one learns to create tornadoes, one learns to deal with them as well. I was a bit scared of the lightning aspect of that lightning dash, but then I suddenly remembered that that attack follows almost the exact same style as a person I've fought many times before. So long as I'm properly grounded, it doesn't really pose that much of a problem for me. And as you can see..." Janus shows his hammer, which has been firmly planted in the ground from the time Janus was thrown down up until now, acting as a ground while Janus whirled around in the tornado. "A little wrist work and I managed to stay relatively safe. I say relatively in the loosest sense, of course. Regardless of how used to losing control of a tornado I am, that still hurt a lot! Good attack, of course. But where'd your elemental head off to?" Janus looks around, but cannot see where the elemental is. It is, of course, made of air. "Ah, well, no matter. Since those vines won't hurt me if I attack them, but you will..." Janus leaps high into the air, directly above Schwa. He hurls his hammer straight downward, with even more force than he previously smashed the ground with! "I'll attack you from where you can't hit me in melee!" |

| Janus: "So violent... Nobody ever listens to me. Just shoot first and ask questions later, I guess...." Janus nonchalantly walks into the Chapel, leaving the Priest behind. "Old man, you hold down the fort out here, I don't think you're gonna be needed..." Priest: "Hmph! Disrespectful boy! Back in my day we took note of our elder's skills." Janus: "I am taking note of them. And they just don't seem like they're up to par with these guys'. Relax, you'll be fine out here, personally I wouldn't go in myself but seeing as how I've gotten myself into this, I suppose I have to see it through until I can get myself out." With that, Janus trudges after the group into the Chapel, paying little regard to the sheathing and unsheathing of the mysterious figure's sword. |

| Personally, you really can't go wrong with a white collar state university, like URI or UConn... They offer plenty of variety, and although I don't know if they have decent art programs, even if you want to get out of RI, you could try RIC. It's got a good art program and it contains english as a major (my sister's taking it I believe). | ||||||

The moment Schwa says this, Janus stops the hammer straight in the air, as the Air Elemental passes beneath it. Janus lands on the ground, alarmed at himself. Janus: "You're right... You're really right." Janus calls his hammer back to him, and returns it to its bag state. He slumps down to the ground, a blank stare in his eyes. "I... feel kinda sick... All this time I've been talking about peace and nonviolence and fighting to end all fighting, and I just tried to kill you with my own two hands. Argh, I can't keep doing this, not if I'm gonna get carried away like I am now. It's just not worth it to accidentally kill someone such as yourself. Regain your mana, Schwa. I think it's time for me to leave soon. What say we wrap this up? I'll let you regain your mana, but in return I want you to show me one of your stronger attacks, I know we've only been sparring thus far, but since I slipped I'm gonna allow you to, too. And don't worry about hurting me, aside from an incredible headache most of your attacks I've been able to evade and escape more or less unharmed from. Those psychic attacks sure do pack a punch, though!" |

| Red stares Nijote straight in the face, and laughs. Red: "Ha, I know that look. Trust me when I say that this isn't our fight. Personally I'm only still here cause I like watching the kid get tossed around. Sometimes the little wimp deserves it." Blue: "Yes, I do agree with Red, this is not our fight. Besides, you would be surprised at Green, though still young, he is quite capable of taking care of himself. You will see, he will come through in the end. Not only that, but we could in theory leave here at any time, I fixed our watches long ago." Red: "Yeah, we could leave any time, we're just letting the kid have his fun. Or having fun at the kid's letting, however you want to interpret it. But I said it before and I'll say it again, you're not getting us in on this fight, not right now at least." Red leans back in his lawn chair, relaxes, and continues to watch Green get the crap kicked out of him. --------------- Green, of course, is trying desperately to stop this from happening. Outrunning Nijote's wind blasts, he's found it's much easier to keep moving at this point than to stop and get hit by that motorcycle or the many random attacks APH Striker and Nijote seem to be making. SLAM! Suddenly Green collides with Yodi's barrier, forgetting that it's in place already! He's knocked to the floor, out of commission for another few rounds yet again. |

| Slipping into the Chapel, Janus sees the look on Haruko's face and is slightly hurt. It appears they do not like him. Nevertheless, he spots the robot and hurries over to it excitedly, overhearing the name "Gutsman" in the process. Janus: "Gutsman. It's a fitting name for such a large robot. You look very strong, as well. It's a shame, though. I'm willing to guess you were built for combat. I can tell you though, you'd make one heck of a miner if you're as strong as you look. I hope you'll stay around, it's good to have strong allies." Janus carefully steps toward Fem, in an attempt to ascertain an identity. "And you, I don't quite know who you are, and I'd very much like to so that I can be sure you're not gonna try to murder us like so much else around here. Fortunately, seeing as how Mr. Hero over there," Janus motions to Jack, and grins at him, "knows you, I'm guessing that's not the case. At that," Janus extends his hand in a gesture of acquaintance, "it is a pleasure to meet you." (thinking) 'You're kinda cute, too. Though I better not mess with you, you look like you could beat the crap out of me if I stare at you wrong. It figures, they're always the deadly ones.' |
