I'd just tell them not to do it. I think tattoos look nice sometimes. On the right people, int he right place, the right thing. Some of them aren't very attractive at all, but if it's tasteful and not overtly sexual or wierd and grungy, then it can make an excellent accentuation to a person in the prime of their life, and when you grow older you can use it to remember your younger days...

Janus: "It's alright, ossan, everyone ages... You OK?"

Janus puts his staff away, and assumes a martial arts stance. He waits for Wellington to recover.

"I'll switch fighting styles now. Come on, let's see if you still have some of your old power. Remember, I may be fast, but I don't even come close to you in strength..."

Janus stands straight. His right arm is extended in front of him, with his hand making a "come on" gesture.

"Sword and fist, after all. Come on!"

I usually post at night anyways, so most of my activity won't go down. It'll all hinge on what the board's doing, actually. If less people post because of school, I post less because of less posters. Of course, I go to school too, but I like staying up late...

Moving along with the Colonel, Janus attempts to escape the slash by frontflipping over the Colonel's head. The fabric of his pants is shorn clean as he is caught in the leg by the ferocious upward strike. As Janus lands, a cut in his leg can be seen, bleeding freely.

Janus: "Yikes! Nice move. Damn, that really hurt..."

Janus gets to his feet and tests his leg. A few kicks in the air later, he deems it alright to continue fighting.

"Come on, Colonel. You're still going easy on me. I don't care how old you think you've gotten, you're still an excellent warrior."

In a maneuver reminiscient of Champloo style martial arts, Janus leaps toward the Colonel, landing just short of his feet and lashing out with a quick sweeping kick, hoping to follow it up with a spinning roundhouse kick, should the Colonel fall to the ground...

Janus: "What the he---"

BAM! Janus is hit full force by the blast, and knocked back a good thirty feet in the process. The rain pounds the earth around him as he coughs up a mixture of mud, saliva and just a bit of blood, desperately searching for the words to describe what appeared to be a rather ferocious attack on him.

Janus: "An... energy attack... I knew there was more to that sword than first glace would deem..."

Janus slowly gets to his feet and stands, wobbling slightly and still a bit dazed by the Colonel's attack.

"That's some messed up magic, right there. Definitely a good reason to keep that thing undiscovered..."

Smiling, Janus calls his bag to him, and flips a switch inside it, transforming it into the hammerlike weapon he knows so well. His eyes flicker a quick blue color.

"Finally, things are starting to really heat up!"

Janus: "I prefer the term 'Ultra-Modern', especially around here."

Janus and the priest were seen walking the path of the young travelers, finally managing to catch up to the main group. As they approached the group, Janus looks at Kirbynite inquiringly.

Janus: "Now then, I've heard about the prophecy already, but would you mind telling me exactly why a journey to save the world happened to pop up right at this predicted time? It seems a bit random, an attack on a chapel without any provocation, followed by a grand quest to ensure the safety of the planet..."

With a wave of his hand, Janus' hammer suddenly dips on its arc, still spinning, below the path of the top. It races towards Schwa, dipping lower and lower as Schwa falls...

And catches him neatly on top of the hammer.

Janus: "Not bad, not bad at all."

The hammer lets Schwa off at the ground, and immediately begins moving back to Janus, who dashes towards Schwa, catching the hammer and delivering his next strike, a diagonally downward slash to Schwa's right shoulder.

"Next!"

Revitalized by the electric beat of the techno music, Green jumps to his feet, ready to rumble once again.

Green: "Ha, this stuff's my kind of music! Really charges me up, if you know what I mean!"

Electricity crackles around his body as Green launches himself toward Spin, charging through the raging sandstorm, the tiny flecks of sand dissipated by Green's electrical aura. Meanwhile, Red cringes at the sound of the techno music, the evil electric beats pounding the inside of his skull.

Red: "Argh, this music sucks! Blue, you got any spare sets of those headphones? Blue? Blue....?"

Blue, entirely oblivious to all outside sound, continues working on the three teleporter watches, occasionally looking up uninterestedly to watch the fight.

Green, meanwhile, approaches Spin, discharging his electrical aura into a huge bolt of lightning energy aimed at the unsheathed sword!

Janus tries bringing his hammer up for a parry, hoping to bat the psi sphere away from him, but cannot make it in time. The sphere hits him directly in the head, and he falls hard to the ground.

Janus: "Damn, I should've dodged that instead of trying to block it..."

Getting up and rubbing his head, tries to shake off the shock of the psionic attack, only to find that he now has a throbbing headache.

"Irony, I guess. This'll hurt in the morning."

Speaking of which, Janus is beginning to see the tips of the sun rising on the horizon. It appears as though the fight has gone on for longer than he'd expect.

"Hmm... Hey, Schwa, what say we keep this going until sunrise, eh? It's a draw if we're both still standing by then, but whoever goes down first loses otherwise! Fair enough? After all, this is only a friendly duel... No need to get life threatening, here."

Red watched as the spear flashed straight through his fire attack, becoming enraged as he is slowly beginning to realize that Origin is considerably stronger than him.

Red: "Argh, dammit! I can't just lose right now, we've got Janus right where we want him! I won't go down without a fight! We HAVE to catch him!!!"

Red's temper raging and his aura flaring, he meets Origin's charge, preparing to deliver a flurry of fire-powered punches and kicks the second he closes into melee range!

"WE WILL CATCH HIM!!!!"

I can't see there being a three movie sequel system for Starcraft, but maybe making the same movie, just from three different perspectives (EG. same events happen, but different character standpoints) due to the three different races. You can do so much with the starcraft universe, I'm sure it'd be a popular movie even with non-SCers if Blizzard made it correctly.

Or better yet, it might do what LOTR did and get people more interested in Starcraft, so that Blizzard can make more SC games!

There's no unbiased study, but the meat packing industry's like a stereotype.

NOT ALL industrial butchers force livestock to live in horrible conditions, but SOME DO.

Movies like The Meatrix are overly one-sided, you can't stop people from expressing their views and occasionally a few things like that are gonna pop up. Personally I'm in favor of treating animals correctly and letting them live healthy lives, only to die of old age. That way, the moral qualms of vegetarianism are gone, so moral vegetarians don't need to worry anymore, as no animals are getting slaughtered anymore, and the people who are vegetarians for health reasons can still do it for their health reasons.

Not only that, but for every cow killing story there's a grain harvester story... Both sides have their hypocrisies. That was actually where my inital problem with being a vegetarian was, if I was gonna do it for moral reasons then why would I ignore all of the other humanity-related deaths in animals? I still don't really know the answer...

I only have a little bit of dandruff, it's not really so bad that I'd need to set my hair on fire for it, I usually keep myself well bathed and thus it isn't much of a problem for me. But, at the same time it IS annoying when I can't shake my head without a few tiny flakes falling out. Doesn't happen too often but when it does, man is it irritating...

A friend of mine and I actually formed a fake company awhile ago for the purpose of this comic series he used to draw... It was called Boomco, one of those companies like Acme that made more or less everything you needed, though more often than not what the characters needed happened to be very combustible.

I plan on having a vanity license plate with that word printed on it made for me.

Janus: "Bad idea, buddy."

Janus, having played Skies of Arcadia Legends, figures out the perfect counterattack for Dameon's maneuver. He dashes forward, hammer in one hand, the staff inside his bag in another, and parries every move Dameon uses, in an exact mirror combo (a la Vize's mimicking Vyse's attacks)!

"Cutlass Wrath!"

Janus backflips away from Dameon, still a bit confused as to how he did that without any actual cutlasses... He doesn't let it bother him, and explains his previous defensive technique.

"It's simple, friend. I don't exactly exist within the normal flow of time. As I said, I'm not a normal human, I'm an anthropomorphic personification. I was brought into being by the need of others for a representative for their habits. Whenever someone says to thank the gaming gods, they, up until a relatively recent point, were speaking to me. Being a demigod gives someone a certain degree of power, which I lost most of by quitting my old job. But the residue from such a large amount of power in the past does give some fringe benefits. I can travel through time at will, and even freeze its flow for a short time, provided I concentrate really hard. Naturally while time is frozen I can't affect anything in the real world, but it's pretty handy for giving me some extra time to think about stuff, or in this case to move out of the way of "unavoidable" attacks. But since I really dislike fighting, I tend not to bring this into combat, you just seemed a bit TOO threatening at the time. If it helps, I can guarantee I probably won't be able to do something like that again for a good bit, it takes it out of me. Also, it's not exactly something I can teach, it's more of a side effect, really..."

Janus readies himself for Dameon's next assault. Considering the intricacies of Dameon's previous strike, Janus is beginning to wonder who the real teacher is here...
