Personally I thought the Dark Sonic anime kicked ass. I always loved the whole using a power ring thing, and "roboticizing" people. It needs to be brought back, for sure. Sonic X is ok though, I like the japanese voices, just not the official dubbed ones, at least, not Sonic's or Tails' anyway.

But yeah, Dark Sonic gets my vote.

I get it now, that was a good one. Guess I'll have to watch out in the future.

64 X 2 = 128. The square root of 128 is 11.313. 11.313^(1/3) is 2.244. This cubed is 11.313 again, and the square root of that is 3.3635. 2.244/3.3635 is .667. I think I'm off though, cause another way to do it would be to multiply your exponents and I got a different answer for that one...

I'll take my first answer though.

Gaara doesn't really have a reason to fight anymore, though. He's starting to realize that killing people isn't exactly the best thing in the world. I can't wait for the sand trio to come back though.

In a given quadratic equation that can be placed in the format AX^2 + BX + C = 0, where A, B, and C are real numbers (and can be zero in some cases) and are also given, and X is not given and represents a possible value of an intercept, Negative B plus or minus the square root of (B squared minus four times A times C), and then the entire mess placed over 2 times A. The separate plus and minus answers will give the X coordinates of points at which the graph of the quadratic function crosses the X axis, the X intercepts. No Y coordinate is really needed to be solved for, since the entire equation equals zero, so zero's set as your Y coordinate for both points.

This was quite possibly the only real piece of information that I retained from my Algebra classes.

If I get punched for asking this, I suppose it's worth it to know, but what's FF: Unlimited? I don't recall hearing much about that one.

And Shinrin does bring up a good point, is there an FF game that Cid isn't in?

Grey, for me as well the quadratic formula will stick with me forever. Never needed it though! The forumula for an exponential, used in calculating financial interest and radioactivity, on the other hand, has come in handy many times: Pe^rt, or Ce^kt, where t is time, P or C is original material or money, and r or k is the interest rate or rate of decay.

Man, I suck at triangle math... But you're right, it's a useful formula, exponential growth and decay's kinda annoying after awhile though. You're basically doing the same thing over and over again and seeing if you can take the natural log of a constant in the end just to find out how long it takes to double your money or something like that. Graphing's more fun, at least then you get to draw stuff.

That's the one. Problem is it was called Sonic The Hedgehog like all the others, so I needed a discriminating factor. Best thing I could come up with was that it was more sinister than the rest, hence the Dark Sonic name.

K and R are interchangeable, it's the same formula, the number's just a proportionality constant (a rate of change based on the exponential) for the formula. Icky stuff, but I thought it was pretty interesting on the few occasions I understood what I was doing.

On the one hand, I love my RDRAM. It's speedy even though it's just single channel, and it took quite some time for DDR to catch up to it.

On the other hand, upgrading my computer is fucking expensive because of it. I'm wondering if it'd just be cheaper to get a new motherboard, one that supports DDR. I've only got 256 megs right now, which is almost below standard, and it's getting to be not nearly enough to run new games effectively. So, if anyone has any suggestions, I'm open to them.

Converse: If it is not partly cloudy, then the sun is not out.

Contrapositive: If the sun is not out, then it is not partly cloudy.

I'm not sure if those are in the right order but what he's referring to are various forms of the "if...then..." statements. I remember them from Geometry, they're supposed to help give a standard form for theorums.

Anyone else die randomly in their dreams? I've heard that if you die in your dreams then you die in real life, but I'm pretty sure I've seen myself die in my dreams.

Thus far I've been firing squadded, thrown off a cliff, run over, hung, devoured by several large monsters, and I think I died somewhere in WWII. I've also been nuked, had the earth be hit by a giant meteor, and (a la apollo 13) I've asphyxiated.

Not only that, but in reply to Jakuroth's statement, I still play D&D and like it.
I don't look at people when I talk to them. Come to think of it, I really don't look at anything, my eyes find it hard to actually focus on stuff.
The company I keep can best be described as "not normal".
I myself am a very anxious and jealous person.
I have a liking for RPGMaker 2000 games.
I go to all-night LAN parties and have reason to believe that I once got high on caffeine, though it may have just been a lack of sleep.
I also seriously think it'd be awesome to have cat ears and a tail, despite being a guy.

No I have a P4, finding a motherboard that supports it isn't the problem, I was wondering if it'd just be easier to get a new motherboard. When it comes to hunting down RAM and video and sound cards i know my stuff, but motherboards confuse me.

Darn, alright let me try again since it's been over an hour. I think I mixed up converse and inverse.

Inverse is what converse should have been and vice versa. So it's:
Converse: If the sun is out, then it is partly cloudy.
Inverse: If it is not partly cloudy, then the sun is not out.
Contrapositive: If the sun is not out, then it is not partly cloudy.

Crystal Chronicles is fun for me, cause we have someone who believe it or not likes carrying the bucket (can't imagine why, but he's wierd like that).

I played Four Swords with four people last Saturday. It was fucking amazing! The level of cooperation required between the four people was excellent, and it was just damn fun. We were always throwing each other out of the way to get force gems, and stealing items, and beating down enemies. It's crazy when you can play with four people, I heavily recommend it. The only problem I had was it took some getting used to when you had to switch between the GBASP and the TV screen, but when you get used to it it just becomes second nature. I also had trouble keeping track of which Link was Red Link and which was Purple (cause I was red), but other than a little confusion because the game moves really fast, I had a lot of fun. Just watch out for whoever has the Fire Rod, Hammer, or Bombs, it gives them the awe-inspiring ability to piss you off.
