| Janus: "Hmmm hmmm hm, Hmmm hmmm hm...." The Backyard's pretty empty... So Janus decides to do something sweet, for once. "Let's see... I think this place could use some gardening." The grass is overgrown, the picnic tables are rotting from the recent rains that the building's undergone (what with the strange weather and the mysterious random staff changes), and as usual, Craziness has completely trashed the place. Janus stands on a discarded keg of root beer, and calls his bag to him. "Okay, first, a cleaning job." He pulls out a shining silver emerald... "Chaos Control!!!" ....And suddenly, he can be seen zooming around the backyard, slicing grass to and fro with incredible precision and speed. In the space of a few minutes, the entire backyard is completely sheared of grass. The whooshing warrior then turns his attention to the picnic tables, which he quickly refinishes with an almost equal degree of speed. When he's done applying the first coat of finish to them, he snaps his fingers and points at them, casting a Haste spell around them all and speeding up the finish to several seconds. Two coats later, and the picnic tables are looking beautiful, and are arranged in a circle around the perimeter of the backyard. Janus steps up atop his keg again, and reaches into his bag... "And now, for some decoration!" He pulls from his bag a handful or ten of seeds, and hurls them out into the middle of the circle, following it up immediately with a burst of time magic. The seeds plant, sprout, and bloom into a beautiful multicolored display of roses in the space of a few minutes. Red, blue, yellow, white, orange, even a special golden breed that somehow managed to form from the combination of four of the previously mentioned colors. When he feels they're sufficiently grown, Janus implements the next part of his little project. "And now..." He dives into the middle of the garden of roses, and whips his bag into Hammer mode... "Grand Cyclone!!!" Fwoosh! A gigantic tornado instantly appears, chopping the roses into pieces and rendering a brilliant display of color that rises into the sky, reaching the top of Janus' hurricane and far above the top floor of the Acmlm's Board building... And then it suddenly stops. "3... 2... 1..." The rose petals fall to the ground... "...and bravo." ....And form a perfect mosaic picture of Yiusi. Janus leaps into the air, stares down at his artwork, and grins, flying off into the sky and hoping to remain anonymous... |

Question: Is it considered canon to use the bar when playing Max 300 or The Legend of Max (or any max song, for that matter)? I tried it using the bar last night and suddenly it was so much easier than using just my feet. But I use my feet alone for just about every other song. Do you guys consider it a real pass if someone passes a song while holding the bar? |

Grey: "I said, You were dimension hopping. You should be glad to be alive, nevermind seeing things." He looked around the lab. It was a pretty cramped place, more or less just the utility room of the Sim Battle Arena Annex, with little room enough for him, nevermind the physics-defying engines he built in his spare time. "When you manage to see again, you'll find that there's not really all that much to see. This is probably the smallest place you're gonna end up in, save for maybe William's office. But that's all fine and dandy." He notices the foot-catch, and grins. "You're pretty quick. You'll fit right in around here, which reminds me... What exactly are you doing here?"

He picks it up and tosses it into the air. Rather than come back down, it keeps rising until it hits the low ceiling, then builds up a rash of energy and cracks through the ceiling, shooting skyward. When Grey peers into the hole it makes, he can see the light from the very top floor of the building streaking downward into the room. "Huh. That was odd. So, what do you wanna do first?"

He snaps his fingers, and the door to his lab slides open with a loud, rusty creaking noise. A dank, dark cavern awaits. "Lessee... There's the Cafeteria. Plenty of weird people in there to meet. Come on!" He steps into the cavern, conjuring a torch to light the way.

He led his visitor through the catacombs, which were much less dangerous and threatening than they seemed. The sounds of yelling and screaming above them, however, were quite real. That's what went on in the Sim Battle Arena Annex... "There's a meal plan associated with registering at the SB Arena. You gotta eat to be strong. Generally it follows a 15 meal/week plan, but you can stay in the cafeteria for a few hours in your spare time and easily pick up two or three meals. It's based on entry, not consumption. I think, though, the kitchens are kinda decimated. I used to be the janitor around here before I quit due the Lizard Brothers and the Gemini Twins trashed the kitchen stores one day in an impromptu fight. Nowadays I kinda just sit in my lab all day and try to think of weird inventions that sound like a good idea on paper but aren't really too keen in execution. I guess I'll give you the tour once we're done..." The path continued to stretch outward... What was even stranger was that Grey didn't seem to have any problem leading a completely blind guy that he just met about five minutes ago along a dank passage beneath a bloody, violence-rousing wonderplex.
