So anyway, about those freeze pops I got. I got a red one and a green one.

But the thing is the red one, I don't think it was a cherry one. I think it was a watermelon one. I hate that, because I'm usually decieved into thinking that a red one is a cherry one when in fact it is that accursed watermelon flavor. It's not really a bad thing, I mean a freeze pop is a fuckin' freeze pop, right? But it's annoying when I'm expecting sweet beautiful cherry and I bite into and start to suck on only so-so watermelon. It's not nearly as tangy or flavorful.

The green one was awesome though: Lime. Green is a color you can usually count on for flavor-coded foods. It's almost always lime, or kiwi, or something easy to understand like that. Not like blue, which can imply blueberry or raspberry depending on how you feel, or the evilness of red.

Grape's another good, solid flavor too. It is almost ALWAYS a dark purple color, no matter where you go, even though a lot of the time I eat grapes that are that light-greenish color for some reason. They're just sweeter. But light green might be confused with lime green, and then you have people looking for a nice tangy lime green taste, and instead getting the contentful, settling feeling of a green grape flavor.

So yeah, I'd have to say that freeze pops are pretty damn awesome.

Yeah I know! Cherry is like the best flavor ever.

But have you ever seen a lemon one? You know, like a lemon flavored "Flavor-Ice" brand pop. I think they used to make them, now I'm not sure.

And I was never able to tell if the blue ones were raspberry or blueberry, either.

EDIT: Well, Otter Pops are fine, but for impromptu purposes you really can't go wrong with just regular generic Flavor-Ice.
