From up above a nearby ridge, a single, lone figure watched solemnly... He had been summoned to this timeline by a mistake, and knew that this point was another turning point in history... Dracoon was going to become too powerful at this point. |
In his own time, there was constant struggle. Dracoon was at the center of it, along with Star, along with himself. The timeline had become twisted with Janus' death. The future had chosen him as one of its champions instead. But he had been thrown from history with one fell swoop of that one Star's mighty hand... He had seen what Dracoon would become. He had fought it before, and knew that today he would have to fight it again. That algorithm, that one sect of the reploid's programming that created the looping mechanism had to be stopped... In his own time, the man knew, Dracoon was a Maverick. An Irregular. A horror, using his excess of strength to give all power to himself. Power was all the being cared about. Was this Dracoon, the one here today, was he the same being? The man didn't know... His leather clothing pressed against his skin as he inched closer to the edge of the ridge. Dark sunglasses, a hood. Cape. Gloves. Every part of his body was covered entirely, as though simply gazing upon him would somehow set some horrible chain of events into motion. Evan: "Dracoon... The reploid who never learned the meaning of love. Are you the same one? The same one who defeated John, all those years ago...? I hope, for your own sake, that you never become maverick, should you gain still more power today..."

The leather-clad man flew along the ground, searing-hot flames burning bright. Moving faster than the eye could see, he got in Yiusi's path and exploded forward, absorbing the heated ether into himself and using it to fuel a blazing uppercut that continued to move forward after passing Dracoon by. Explosions rained around him as the warrior flipped several times in the air and landed behind Dracoon, hoping it was enough to keep Yiusi safe. From his crouch, he looked over at Kaz... "The robot is right. I won't be here to save you from him all the time..." And with that, he leapt into the air, and disappeared in a blur. That was all. No dramatic exit, no one-liners, no crazy, psychotic attacks. Just a block for Yiusi, and he was off. He couldn't deal with Dracoon today, it wouldn't be fair... Aside from being a DDR freak, I also used to run a LOT. Jogging, cross-country (though I was never on the team), track (same case)... |
But yeah, nowadays it's DDR. 8 and 9 footers add up after a while, surprisingly. The amount of coffee I drink jacks up my metabolism, too, though I know that's really unhealthy. I've always been very into diet and nutrition, I believe in eating right alongside exercising because I've never been blessed with a naturally high metabolism. Nick's been dragging me to the gym lately, too... I've gotten back into my running habits. I also fence, which is a VERY good leg/arm workout. It's also good cardio work. The problem, though, is diet. At college, you're either snacking all the time or eating line cook food. The freshman 15 is NOT a myth, and I'm going to try my hardest to maintain the weight I have already. I'm gonna be so embarassed if I balloon back up to 170 or 180 by the end of the semester.

Some of it's good though... They were serving pirogi earlier this week, and tonight was stuffed peppers. They tasted horrible, suffice it to say. Breakfast? We don't do slimy eggs, the eggs are at least a little substantial, if slightly overcooked. And scrambled, I prefer a nice fried to anything else. Eggs are good for you!

Except Yoshi. And Mewtwo. But yeah, my favorites have always been the standard toppies: Marth, Falco, Fox, etc.... I haven't really seriously used them in a while, though. Lately I've been experimenting with guys like Mario (who has a surprising degree of speed) and the Kirbster (who just plain rocks when he copies the right people). My roommates use Jigglypuff and Captain Falcon, of course. So that means I have to watch out for some serious power moves, so dodging and blocking have always been high points for me.

Very, very, very interesting. Clean up your grammar and edit this heavily, it kicks the crap out of a lot of independent stuff I've read. In particular, I'm a fan of the switch-perspective style. It's a simple, to the point portrayal of events from multiple perspectives, but the characters don't feel the same each time through. Kudos on plot and character.
