I've gone by a few names... My AIM, Rale9891, stemmed from Rale being the name of my bard in my D&D campaign. I used to call myself flash as well, just because I thought the Flash was a cool superhero. The numbers 9891 have a secret hidden meaning that few, if any, people figure out.

Here and nearly everywhere else nowadays, I am Grey. I like Grey because it sounds more sophisticated than Gray, and it also represents balance and neutrality, which I think is pretty friggin' sweet.

Other names I went by were Janus, which stemmed from my obsession with Chrono Trigger (and now is represented by my most known roleplaying character), and Elias, an alias that I used in one of my first RO servers.

Switzerland was from IRC, when I started preaching about being neutral.

Oxnard Montalvo is from The Angry Beavers, and owns hard.

Ehehe..... Yeah, those are all really nice games, and my favorite game is most definitely on most people's previous lists (Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, and Megaman X3), but...

Harvest Moon : Yeah, it's genius. Simple, pure, unadulterated genius. Raise a farm, raise a family, find an assload of secrets out about the land you're living in, and make a few bucks on the side. And the cows. Oh, the cows. So cute. Props go to the N64 version, too.

The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang : This game kicks the shit out of most all Ann Rice novels.

Oh god, the GC version's a piece of crap compared to the SNES and N64 version. It's really horrible. The other two, you have to play a little bit to get into, but they're worth it in the long run. You get kind of a sense of pride after a while of realizing just what you've accomplished.

Hikari was, of course, stopped by the scarved gunslinger... He tapped her on the shoulder as the priest looked on in awe at his audacity.

Companion: "S'cuse me, miss... Couldn't help but overhear ya..."

He lowered his voice to a whisper at this point, one that the rest of the bar was most certainly unable to hear...

".... Talkin' 'bout protectin' some milk... Was figurin' y'all could use another hand to keep the precious bounty safe, 'specially since there's gonna be a mighty storm a'comin'.... Me n'my compadre o'er yonder..."

He motions to the priest, whose eyes widen ever so slightly more...

".... We've been a-fixin' to find ourselves some work, now... Whatsay? Better make yerselves a decision, quick now, a'fore someone overhears us..."

He swiveled around her...

"Oh, no no no, miss... You misunderstand. I won't be requirin' payment... I just want mah foot in the door on the milkin' business..."

He shifts his scarf, which looks a bit more like a cape than a scarf, given how badly tied it is, and continues his plea...

"C'mon, ain't there anythin' I could do ta show ya I know what ah'm doin'?"

OOC: COLD. AS. ICE.

The man was taken aback by the insult to his apparent disabilities... A burst of steam blew out of his sleeve AND his ears. His face went red, and he hung his head.

"Aw, I know... I can't do it, I can't really speak like the rest of you do. I'm sorry, I won't bother you anymore..."

He trudged back over to his priestly fellow, and sighed into his drink. 1% now and forever...

Priest: "It's ok, man... Still wanna find those bandits?"

Man: "Nah, nah... I don't have the heart to now. Just... let me have my milk..."

Grey can be seen setting tables left and right in the Sim Battle Auditorium and Cafeteria... Fresh off of the wedding of a pair of his roleplaying characters, it seems as though Jarukoth will be celebrating his birthday, as well. There was so much work to be done, and so little time to do it... Who knew when Jarukoth would see the board next? Grey had to be quick.

Grey: "Let's see now... katana party favors, whackaninja machine, birthday cake..."

He looks to the rather large birthday cake... Suddenly, the top of it is lifted up and opened, and Mortal Kombat's Mileena pops out, beginning to sing in a very sultry voice.

Mileena: "Happy Birthday, Mr. Jarukoth..."

Grey: "No, no, not yet! Get back in there, I'll give you the signal!"

Her face falls a bit and she nods, ducking back inside of the cake, which repairs itself the moment Grey snaps his fingers at it. He turns his attention to the large ice sculpture of Kakashi that he had ordered from the Modern Art Department, and ensures that the AC focused on it will keep it cool enough to at least stay a little bit before the party begins and it doubtlessly starts to melt. He had admired their handiwork: Kakashi was in perfect Chidori pose, right down to the very bolts of icy electricity that circulated around an equally icy hand. Brilliance, sheer brilliance.

"Eh? Oh, some of the guests are beginning to arrive..."

Grey walked over to the door of the SBA&C, and eagerly awaited the arrival of those who wanted to wish Jarukoth a happy 19th...

Experience: Currently playing a game of The Riddle of Steel, recently converted D&D 2.0 campaign that has been running for the last five years. I am familiar with D&D CRE 2.0, World of Darkness, Riddle of Steel, Star Wars d20, and Cymoro has described his 3.5 campaign to me in such detail (and I've played enough bioware games) that I believe I can get a handle on the feat d20 system in no time flat.

As for characters, I'd like to give some kind of caster a try. I'd prefer to go psionics again, but psionics was so annoyingly cumbersome in 2.0 that I'm not even sure if it's worth playing in 3.5. I've never played a mage or a cleric (I'm usually more in favor of rogues and warriors), so if nobody goes for that, then I'll be the caster. Otherwise, I'd like to go for a rogue, especially with the feat system in effect (preferably a bard).

I want to join the campaign because I've been RPing here in the SF for a while now, and I wouldn't mind doing something a bit more. I'm also starting to get bored with playing just with my friends outside the board (it's not a bad campaign, but we just restarted everything because the whole world was so fucked up and my DM decided to switch us to playing Riddle of Steel three week sbefore he leaves for upstate New York).

I can make it to nearly any session if it's late at night, I can't guarantee daytime ones though, since I do have college and a job to worry about.

Grey: "Ok, Mileena, hit it!"

The cake bursts open, and the scantily-clad Mortal Kombat character pops out, brandishing her fans in all their fan-y glory.

Mileena: "Happy Birthday, Mr. Jarukoth...
Happy Birthday, Mr. Jarukoth...
Happy Birthday, Mr. Jarukoth...
Happy Birthday, to you..."

The rest of the party cheers as Grey snaps his fingers. A thunderclap can be heard, and seconds later Mileena is nothing but a smoking crater. In her place is a massive, much, much bigger than before birthday cake with 19 candles on it, each one in the shape of a separate character from Naruto. At the top is, of course, a wax representation of Ninja-Jarukoth himself, posed in the execution phase of his Rasengan attack.

Grey: "Right, let's eat!"
