Janus: "Grr... I can't wait! Innocent people are going to be killed and raised as nothing more than cannon fodder for NeoBowser's dark army! And if we have Schwa's Royal Ball with us, chances are we'll be able to at least gather some information on this whole situation!"

Garro and Kalar were practically foaming at the mouth at this point. They wanted blood, they had no clue why, and Kalar was actually getting slightly scared...

Garro: "Rawr, rawr, rawr, kill, kill, kill, cliche murderous rage innuendo here, CAN WE PLEASE GET ON WITH THIS? I'm getting quite pissed off!"

Kalar: "Garro, you're... Not.... well.... Are you?"

Garro: "I just want to shoot something!"

Janus: "I... I have to help! Come on!"

He started off for the city and the army of Zombies, not caring about what Fenrir knew or didn't know... Garro and Kalar naturally followed, their weapons drawn and ready to slice.

I remember the TMNT comics! Those were good too, I got a 3 pack of them for christmas a few years ago... I always wondered how the stories unfolded like that, and how the characters turned out the way they did.

Dammit, I need to find these old comics and READ THEM.

You scored as Satanism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Satanism! Before you scream, do a bit of research on it. To be a Satanist, you don't actually have to believe in Satan. Satanism generally focuses upon the spiritual advancement of the self, rather than upon submission to a deity or a set of moral codes. Do some research if you immediately think of the satanic cult stereotype. Your beliefs may also resemble those of earth-based religions such as paganism.

Cheese, the animation quality on it was so poor that they really didn't need much filespace to make it a half hour long...

I think it was at best only a few megs. I know I was able to watch it fluidly back when I had 56K.

YES.

GOD, GOD, GOD YES.

But wait, is it 3rd edition? The only RPG systems I know are World of Darkness, D&D 2.0, Riddle of Steel, and a little of Star Wars, so I'd have to brush up a bit on my rules.

Also, I know it's kind of a caper, but do you think the Eevee evolutions should be restricted, too? Jolteon in particular becomes one of the fastest pokemon out there, and Espeon and Umbreon are really strong, as well.

Kalar: "An Omnislash, eh wot? Brilliant!"

Kalar's eyes flashed red, integrating another new move into his mind, and rolled out of the way of one slash, pistoning himself into the air and out of the way of another, and deftly changing his weapon back into a scythe in midair only to catch one of Sion's blades in the crook of the scythe for yet another parry. The second blade, however, overtook him and sent him sprawling to the ground, which he landed hard on, exploding into a mass of inky black shadows. He reformed on his hands and knees, sweating and gasping for air... It seemed the reaction was not so much random as it was to brace for impact. He'd have to keep that one in mind.

He squinted for a split second, before launching himself into the air yet again, this time swinging his scythe far too prematurely to be any threat to Sion... Until Sion saw the scythe blade flying toward him, attached by near-immaterial chain to the Multiweapon's haft. He tornadoed around on the return blow, causing the chain to start whirling around him. The end result was Kalar spinning around in the air, a rush of chains enveloping him, with the scythe blade on the end, creating an ever-extending spiral of chains around him as the blade flew toward Sion.

Kalar: "You fell for it....!"

As Kalar was sent spinning, he snapped his fingers, sending the chain spreading outward as the very links themselves expanded in the spin. The chain to the blade Sion was holding snapped, and the blade itself disappeared, having been detached from its original hold. The spiral of chains spread outwards, turning into a linked, barbed spike whip that Kalar swung at Sion the moment he hit the ground. The length of the chain was long enough so that he was able to reach Sion, and attempted to wrap him in spikes, trying what was essentially the same move that Sion attempted on him before.

Yugi: "Sorry Pegasus! Your trap card that countered my trap card was just countered by MY trap card!"

Grey sat, watching one of his crazy-invisible closed-circuit televisions, as his stunt double was blown to pieces and his robotic giblets smeared the arena in something resembling beef stroganoff. Grey calmly sipped on a can of Mountain Dew and chewed an apple as the ridiculously crappy anime episode came to a close. Of course, the stunt double wasn't actually blown to pieces by the time explosion, it just exploded because Grey felt like making him explode. More specifically, the PK shield was still up, meaning the explosion (which would presumably go off after the attack set time was finished, rather than when Grey wanted to (seeing as how the original attack had a set time of frozenness and wasn't controlled by Seph's whim (if it were he'd have probably made it permanent))) would also bounce off. Being borne from the deflected time attack (which was a beam, rather than an area effect and thus probably wouldn't have detonated next to Grey anyway), it was only naturally to assign it the same properties as the time attack, which got deflected by the very same shield. In any case, Logic Bomb still happened, Time Bomb didn't affect him, and Grey swallowed in a rather dramatic but unfearful way. The apple's skin scratched his throat a little on the way down.

Grey cleared his throat, and winked.

Grey: "Oh, right, I forgot to shout Logic Bomb!!! again."

And since he was so heavily broadcasting his thoughts...

"And another thing: Read the forum description, AGAIN. I can't disqualify you anymore. And I wouldn't anyway, this is silly and fun."

He paused thoughtfully, and resumed his nonviolent fighting...

"What was it Orwell said? You're a lunatic if you're a minority of one..."

As the whip chains disappeared into nothingness, having been brought out of contact with the Multiweapon, Kalar grinned and pumped his fist into the air, doing a short hop.

Kalar: "Woohoo! I did it! I won! Time to do the Victory Jig!"

Kalar reverted his multiweapon into a scythe, placed it on his back, and began to dance to nothing (he didn't have a theme song yet, so he assumed that there was no victory music for that reason). First, he stuck his arms in the air and waved them from side to side while shaking his rear end and clenching his hands into fists, bringing them slightly together. He went into a few pelvic thrusts, then decided to bring it around town a bit with not one, but two hands. A quick disco thrust in the air later, and he was back to the 1980s, moonwalking for a few steps and going into a quick split that popped back up to a standing position, which he spun around gracefully in, ending in a pose that saw his right arm raised straight in the air above his head, steel piston-arm firing upward to increase effect, and his left arm pressed down by his side. Both index fingers were indeed outstretched.

But, of course, as is the case with many battles, there was actually a reason why there was no victory music playing...

Janus threw up, again. This was the fourth time now. Grey held his head above the toilet of their apartment. Did they really drink too much last night...?

Grey: "Come on, Janus... Let it out, man..."

Janus: "It.... It's not... the alcohol..."

He retched again, and more bile streamed from his throat as his stomach continued to churn. Something was wrong, seriously, seriously, SERIOUSLY wrong.

Grey: "I've called Kalar and Garro, they should be here in a few minutes. Garro'll help you, he'll make you feel better."

Janus: "It's... the time stream..."

Grey: "The time stream? Wha--- Oh, head above the toilet man!"

Janus dry heaved, then wet heaved, then dry heaved some more before letting out another round of hot stomach acid. He knew full well what was wrong, and raised his head from the bowl weakly...

The room was best described as dingy. Though amazingly, psychotically rich because of Janus' adventures through time, both men refused to live in anything other than a shithole. The end result was a bathroom in the middle of a slum apartment with peeling linoleum on the floor, and Janus holding his hung-over head in front of a cracked toilet as both time and inability to hold his liquor made his stomach relive hell.

It was about then that Kalar and Garro, no more financially secure than the other two, burst into the apartment door (they lived down the hall). Garro saw Janus hurling, and whipped out his pocket-bible, chanting a short sedative spell... They had to get to the bottom of this.

Several seconds later, Janus was lying on the beat-up couch that he normally slept on, trying desperately to explain the time stream conflict to his friends...

Janus: "....and so you see, the moment I felt the time stream alter so heavily due to that one Star's death, it had a bit of an adverse effect on my body."

Grey: "Hence the inability to keep your normally unexcessive downing of several shots of gin and tonic down."

Janus: "I'll have you know that drinking is good for the soul; I should know that better than any of you."

Kalar: "Which explains why you drink at least ten times as much as me."

Janus: "WITHOUT a dare."

Kalar rolled his eyes as Garro stood up and tried to maintain some semblance of order to the room.

Garro: "Look, look, there are more important things at hand... Star. He's dead, but still alive? And you say that the time streams are coming together? And I suppose this means we're about to embark on some zany madcap adventure in order to repair it?"

Janus: "Yeah, pretty much. We'll need some vodka."

Grey: "Wait... Wait..... If the time streams are all coming together, and a while ago I.... Oh, shit."

Janus: "What?"

---------------------------------------------

Somewhere outside of Las Vegas.......

A portal in time ripped open, caused by a strange eddie in the continuum. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 figures fell out of it, crashing in a pile on top of each other.

Three of them sprang to their feet immediately. Dressed in black pinstripe suits, with colored hair and black sunglasses, they were completely aware of their surroundings, though not how they got there.

Red: "What the fuck are we doing here?"

Blue: "It seems as though we have been unbanished by that bastardic fellow, Grey."

Red: "The Detective?"

Blue: "No, the real one. There is no Detective."

Janus, Master of Mediocrity: "Ugh...."

Another figure rose to his feet as Green nodded in agreement. It was a teen in a simple white t-shirt and pants, with a red hat. He carried a large duffel bag, of course.

"I.... I'm not supposed to be here...."

Janus, Explorer of Time: "I guess I am, technically."

Janus, Agent White: "I, as well. Strange, indeed."

The two other figures were similar in appearance to the boy. One was older, wearing a steel hauberk that really served no purpose other than to keep his body alive at all times. The other was clad similarly to the three Agents, his hair a pure white color. Trippy. They knew somewhat why they were here, and figured there was no real reason for it other than to just go with the flow. Both of them had experienced this before, one of them had experienced it twice, actually. And both of them knew what was going to happen next.

User Grey: "THAT BASTARD! WHERE IS HE? WHERE?"

The thunderous rage that was User Grey blew them all back into the time stream, isolating them in their respective Universes and sealing them away from this story. There'd be no one to stop him this time! He'd break the fourth wall, and the fifth, and maybe even the sixth, he just wanted Grey dead. Dead, rotting, and utterly out of commission. He had, after all, been replaced as the avatar.

User Grey blasted off into the sky, a bright blue aura emitting from him DBZ style, as he began his search...

-------------------------------

Janus: "What, what's wrong?"

An idea suddenly hit Grey, and he relaxed.

Grey: "Nah, nothing. Nothing at all. Let's go get that Vodka."

Janus, Kalar and Garro: "Can do!"

The four of them grinned as they exited the building, headed for the liquor store and off into adventure.

OOC: HELL YEAH!

Tourists suck. Grey has realized this at this point, and decided to stop being one. Janus, too, has put his camera and beach hat away in favor of his usual attire, and Garro and Kalar never even bothered in the first place. Still, Indigo Plateau was pretty, even though there were all of these Pokemon Trainers around. The only thing Grey had ever done even relating to those were his Politikemon, and Janus had played Red and Silver.

Yep, Kanto sure was nice this time of year.

Well, except for that large battlecruiser in the sky. It hung there, in exactly the way bricks didn't. Cast a rather lovely shadow over the land, too. Pokemon trainers fled in sheer terror the moment it decloaked, wetting their pants and tripping over their Pokeballs as screams erupted throughout the area on sight of the massive ship.

Grey: "I say, that's quite a lovely attraction, when was it built?"

Kalar: "Grey, I don't think that's...."

Garro: "Sh, let the boy have his fun."

Janus: "In the meantime, shouldn't we figure out why there's so many people running away in fear?"

Grey: "That moment of idiocy done with, I'd say it's probably due to some strange, mysterious villain that's mysterious and strange wanting to conquer our world."

Janus: "Ah, good. I was getting tired of not kicking ass as of late."

Grey: "Indeedy! Now let's see what he's got in store..."

Kalar: "Eh?"

He raised his nonmetal foot out of the ground, grabbed his scythe with his metal right hand, touched it to his metal foot, and raised an eyebrow as the lighting bolt coursed through his metal parts, causing a few circuitry errors that were fixed almost immediately. Why the fast fix? Well...

Originally posted by Oxnard Montalvo in "Ragnarok: Dark or Light"
The second he saw the lightning, Kalar converted his weapon back into the metal scythe form, but the blade did not slide out of the tip as usual. Instead, it remained a steel staff, which Kalar slammed hard enough into the ground that it remained stuck there, touching his metal arm and leg to it with two points of contact each. The lightning surged around him and struck directly at the pole, which was considerably taller than Kalar at this point. It surged through both his arm and his leg and he winced in pain as the nerve receptors on the connection points with his hip and shoulder went wild with electricity. Still, it was better than being shocked to death.

There ya go. He pulled his foot out of the ground, grinned, backed his scythe, and wiggled his metal arm a few times, shaking out the last of the excess energy. He did not, however, continue his attack.

Kalar: "Aw... And I was dancing, too..."

My most commonly used french phrase:
