Grey: "Kari! Watch out!"

Grey placed his fingers to his forehead and whipped them downward as he passed Kari and Shino, jets of fire bursting out of them in a wide, shotgun-like blaze, incinerating any Tauren that had the gall to get in his way.

"PK Fire Omega!!!"

Janus, of course, was cracking skull after skull of Tauren with his hammer, searching desperately for Jarukoth in the rampaging crowd, caring not about the wounds they inflicted upon him. All that mattered was one thing, which he acted upon as he noticed Jarukoth retreating. He moved like a bolt of electricity through a crowd of Tauren, slicing them bushido-style with his hammer as he reached Jarukoth's position.

Janus: "Jarukoth, any idea where they're coming from?"

He hurls his hammer at an oncoming Tauren and the weapon is hit backward at him...

"And why are they.... !"

The Tauren gets closer and Janus panics for a second, rushing forward and meeting its massive piece of wood with his hammer, currently occupied at the moment.

Kalar: "Ready...."

Garro: "Set...."

Kalar and Garro: "Spirit Hurricane!!!"

Left off in their own little world, Kalar and Garro form a bastardized version of Janus' combined technique, as Kalar whirls around under the influence of a direct blessing from Garro, generating a wave of holy energy that spreads outward from them both and knocks back line after line of Tauren...

Up with the sun, Janus supposed... But this really was a stretch.

Billy and Popodey were still asleep as Janus lay in his bed, completely unable to get back to sleep after having woken up, his required sleeping hours finished in their entirety. The four poster, clearly designed for a ten-year-old boy, was about a foot too small for him, and somehow he knew that complaining about this to the head of the House would probably get him in some unknown trouble, be it with the rest of the students or with the Housemaster himself.

That Snape fellow... There was good in him, and there was bad in him, that was for sure. He was someone a balanced person could look up to, at least upon first impressions.

The plainest matter was that he was stuck. Stuck in Slytherin for however long he decided to stay here, and he knew he needed to stay for a good, long time or else he'd never learn a thing about magic.

Oddly enough, as early as he had awoken, it apparently wasn't early enough for the rest of Slytherin House, the common room of which buzzed with activity. It appeared as though the dormitories were somehow, through the use of some arcane technique, completely soundproof, as Janus was driven even further from sleep by a pulsating beat that grew louder as he descended each stair...

Janus trudged from his bed into the room, only to see about half of the house up and about, practicing curses and hexes, engaging in strange, hedonistic acts, and more or less having an all-out rave. And at four in the morning, too. Someone had magically rigged a set of disco balls onto the common room ceiling, and magically-generated light and music blasted here, there, and everywhere.

Janus had a sneaking suspicion that very few, if any, Slytherin students actually slept, which would certainly explain the pale, gothy look many of them sported. If this was the Sorting Hat's idea of getting in touch with his evil side, then Janus had a slight feeling he wouldn't have much of a problem fitting in.

I can't deny that SMB3 was good, but I've gotten so much more fun, value, and memories of good times out of Melee.

So many excellent memories...

EDIT: At this point it is 11/18 in favor of Super Mario Brother 3.

Commandment #3, buddy. I would think that someone who is so avid about having these commandments in courthouses wouldn't break one of them by EDITING IN a phrase that uses the Name of the Lord Thy God in vain... Or did you just forget all of them because you didn't see them in your local couthouse?

As his eyes flashed red for another splitsecond, Kalar could only think of one thing, his weapon locked with Sion's in what could be the deadliest spar in the fight...

Kalar (thinking): 'This is going to hurt. A lot.'

Sion's barrage of kicks hit Kalar square on the solar plexus, knocking the wind out of him and causing him to double over in pain, which conveniently dislodged his scythe from Sion's weapons and gave him some much-needed breathing room to back up. He staggered backward and caught his breath, this time knowing that he had to redouble his efforts to actually hit Sion. It was becoming quite clear to Kalar that Sion could match him easily in speed, and that he would need to cover some more impressive tactics in order to overcome his foe. Those powers that Grey had mentioned... Shadows and stuff? Where the hell did they come from? Just because he was so "evil"?

It was strange... But perhaps it could be controlled. Probably not, since Grey had a cruel tendency to do stuff along those lines. But how? Shadows? It was bright and sunny outside, and there weren't any really large outcroppings that gave copious amounts of shade, which made the fact that he was able to do it before even stranger.

Paying this thought no more mind (Sion was bound to be attacking again soon), Kalar instead turned his attention to the dual-wielding warrior, and decided to give him a taste of his own medicine. He swung his scythe in Sion's direction, releasing three blasts, instead of two; Fire, Ice, and a ball of Lightning, courtesy of Star...

Kalar: "Fira-Blizzara-WhateverthehellStarcallshislightning Combo!!!"

But it didn't stop there. Just as the blasts left his scythe, Kalar placed his hand to his forehead again, and began attempt #2 at a Psibeam...

Janus: "Red's Fire!!!"

Enveloping himself in flames, Janus crossed his arms in front of himself, and let Hector's fire feed his own, raising the burning heat to near-unbearable levels... He slowly brought his hammer to Hector's armor, and touched the two pieces of equipment together. The flames around him were sucked into Satchel's head, and he backed up with a smirk.

"Heh... That's number two. Mind giving me a little bit more?"

He slammed his hammer onto the ground, and a wave of earth slammed upward at Hector, designed to overwhelm him and crush him underneath its weight!

Kalar's eyes flashed red. He recognized the lightning for sure. He pointed his scythe at the charge and let it hit him. The bolt surged through his scythe and through his right arm and leg, which were connected by the haft of his weapon... But rather than discharge it into the ground, Kalar did something a bit more inventive and released the charge. Not at Star, mind you. At Hector, actually.

Kalar: "Looks like you could use some help, Jan----UGH!"

That single swing had another attack that he had observed, but failed to react to. The blades of wind cut through him like a knife, and Garro suddenly had another healing job to do. This was NOT going as well as could be expected.

Speaking of Garro, he had only just barely gotten up from healing Grey, when Kalar fell to the ground in a bloody mass before Star. Bolting out of the way of Dark Phoenix's fire, Garro drew both of his pistols, and suddenly got extremely pissed off, aiming them at Star and releasing a duo of large, wide blasts of holy energy as he ran towards Kalar and attempted to lay his hands on his friend and heal him.

And Grey? Well, he doesn't take insults very well. With a twitch in his eye and anger in his heart, he simply raises his hand at the gigantic column of flames, and blinks a few times, turning it into a REALLY gigantic column of flames that stops short in front of him. With a wave of his hand, the column is thrown sideways and straight at a certain large, hairy werewolf-type person. Grey's eyes, however, are locked onto Origin.

Grey: "Fine, I didn't want to break any rules, but if you really want to see what I can do..."

He straightened, and stared emptily at Origin through thin, low-perscription glasses. His eyes narrowed, and suddenly a flash of sparking green psychic energy whirled around him, tearing holes into the ground he stood on as he stepped.

"That was Pyrokinesis. And this is... PK Rockin!!!"

The green energy concentrated in a semicircular wall in front of Grey's body, and grew suddenly into a massive wave of energy that was sent flying at Origin's body, capable of tearing an SUV to shreds with just a thought.

"And that's just Alpha!"

Wow, Clock. They're kinda iffy as far as being drawn goes, but as far as jokes go, they're excellent. Keep it up, I'm definitely laughing. My favorites so far are number 4 and 6.

Yoro, maybe you should report that to the government, see how their precious Pokemon games could POSSIBLY corrupt their kids.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't the animation in GTA: San Andreas so horrifically bad that looking at a sex scene would be akin to watching barbie dolls do it?

I still stand by Red and Silver as the two greatest versions of the game, because they're still so in line with what Pokemon was really all about: Watching cute death machines beat the crap out of lesser beings in one-on-one battles to the death (faint?). Ruby and Sapphire... They're good, yeah, but I feel like two on two battling really takes something away from the series. It's like, when your pokemon faints, you don't think "Shit! I'm one step closer to losing this battle!", you think "Ah, well, one down, but I've still got one to go!". That's not my style.

Plus, Furret and Charmander just own you all. And... Yes.... I like Pikachu. A lot.

As for the anime, the first series? Good, really captured the essence of what teh games were about through a true-to-the-game perspective (could have used more of a romance factor though). Orange Islands? Passable, I guess. Johto? Uh... Getting a little murky here. Master Quest? Suck. Anything beyond that? I have no clue.

Oddly enough, the anime doesn't follow the way the game is "supposed" to go. Most people don't either. A lot of people get their badge in Saffron City before going after Koga simply because it's possible and it's what Ash does in the anime, but you can get Koga's badge first (in fact, you're supposed to get it first!) if you do it correctly.

And G/S/C had a great thing going with the whole "Return to Kanto" thing. Good idea.

Kalar: "Sure thing. Alpha Psibeam!!!"

Kalar pointed his fore and middle finger at Sion after removing it from his forehead, and a brilliant flash of red light arced towards the dual-wielding warrior, much brighter and more intense than the previous attempt could be, as Kalar had been able to slightly refine his concentration. As if that wasn't enough, the attack, as Schwa had so often described to his foes, would deal Psychic damage that would penetrate physical defenses and go straight for the mind!

Not one to be a one-trick pony, Kalar of course had another move up his sleeve to complement his initial strike. This one he had thought of himself: He took his scythe, and held it so that the blade was down by his feet and pointing outward at Sion, with the haft held high in his hands. It looked like he was going to slash upward...
