Actually...
Spoiler:
In the japanese ending to Megaman 7, Megaman doesn't say "I am more than just a robot!" He just stands silently, knowing there's nothing he can do to stop that rule. It's a simple mistake that the american translators put in that's caused so many disputes in message boards relating to the megaman/megaman X connection story across the internet. God damn you, Capcom of America. God damn you.

Sure thing:

When you're in towns, you want a gig of RAM for WoW. It runs fine on 512 MB, but if you go to places like the Orc Capital, then you're gonna be lagging like hell.

You'll need a card that supports DirectX 9.0, I'd suggest getting 128 MB of video memory or higher (not too hard to find nowadays, but for a laptop this WILL be pricey), usually these come onboard with a decent package. It's very hard to upgrade a laptop, so that's something you have to worry about too.

As far as a processor goes, you'll want at least a 533 FSB with a 1.5 GHz or higher processor. That, too, isn't too hard to find on a laptop. Most of them actually sell for higher. Get yourself a high-end Athlon mobile and you're golden.

Is there going to be a town system, or an overworld or hub world that we can access at any time, or do the transitions from area to area occur directly?

It sounds pretty linear. I'm not really a fan of linearity, I like backtracking a lot to find new and interesting things, but so far it looks pretty good. You seem to have a lot of wide, open spaces to deal with, though. I realize this is probably because the enemy style is like that of Paper Mario, but it feels like there's a lot of negative space in the worlds.

The story, though! The story! Will there be dialogue? Many of the characters you're enlisting have the hero's curse of not having any dialogue ever, and thus not having much personality, meaning you'll have to invent personalities for each of them. It might be a good idea to include some supporting characters from each individual game in order to give more background to the heroes, should you be unable to give them their own diverse personalities. (and I better not see Link have his personality from the "Legend of Zelda" animated series...)

Janus maneuvers over to Grey through the crowds of onlookers, and whispers into his ear...

Janus: "If you'll kindly stop stuffing your face for a moment, you might note that everyone seems to be having a rather interesting looking dance contest. You gonna enter?"

Grey lifts his head from his feast, and takes note of the dancers, growing increasingly scared.

Grey: "I... do you think?"

Janus: "You want to?"

Grey: ".....no, not yet. Seems like it'd be a pretty shabby idea at this point."

Janus nods his head and turns away.

Janus: "As you wish. I'm gonna have some fun, myself."

Janus then takes a top hat out of the main pocket of Satchel, and places it on top of his head. He saunters over to the dance floor, and begins a rather interesting irish step-dance, using Satchel as a makeshift cane. Incorporating some caberet and vaudeville moves, as well as a few Michael Jackson-esque twists and turns (gotta hand it to the man, he was quite the dancer), Janus is soon cutting a rug with the best of them. Left and right he shifts in time with the techno, foot to foot, heel to toe, a twist, spin, split and up, and one, and two. It was difficult for him to keep up with Darude's famous mix, but he realized eventually that by separating it into 2/2 time and concentrating on the upbeats, he could actually get a few good steps in.

Grey: "Nah-uh. Mine."

Grey pointed to the custodial closet of the kitchen, the door of which flew open and belched out another mop bucket. Its wheels squealed a tiny bit, and Grey raised his foot to catch it between sole and tile as it rolled along the floor. He windmilled with the mop for a few seconds, and brought it into the mop bucket, which was already filled with water from his cleaning bout last night. Icky, dirty water!

The mophead rose from deep within the ugly, greasy depths of the bucket, and Grey kicked the bucket over, spreading rancid water all along the floor! He then stepped back a few feet and leapt forward, landing in the water and sliding along the floor toward Spiky, swinging the mop and spraying the incredibly gross substance all over the lizard!

Grey: "Unsanitary Attack!!!"

And, of course, having wasted all of his ninja moxie on that last rockout maneuver, a very tired Grey steps, leaping on gossamer toes, over to Square Five.

Detective: "First move? First move? I have to... I, and the fight, with the killing and the gun and shoot?"

He looks nervously from APH to the gun holster in his coat, to APH's Power Sword, to the gun holster again, to APH again, to the exit to the arena, and then again to APH. There was only one tactical decision he could make at this point.

Stall for time. Oh, yeah. For the win.

I've realized something.... Every time you depict Mario among these enemies, you're always putting him in some kind of fearful or hilariously precarious situation. It's great!

Also, Bowser in the Fire Sea and TYD are especially good, but they just don't beat SMB3 yet in my opinion. Keep up the good work, Pear!

Grey: "......Right........... I'm gonna keep on cleaning, now."

Content with the immobilization of his foe, Grey simply points at the clean mop bucket, swishes his hand upward, and telekinetically brings the bucket close to him. He dips the mop into the clean bucket, and continues cleaning the floor.

Ha, Anya's not the only one getting rocked in the trunk today. I gotta work in about 45 minutes. What's worse, working at Toys R Us means I'm gonna be having asdf people, drunk and not drunk, ringing out fucking kiddie pools all day. Who buys video games on the fourth? Who buys action figures (aside from me, I mean: I've got one on hold)?

Not only that, but I can't really eat 99% of the stuff that's being grilled today. This'll really be the first year I've never had a big hamburger or hot dog on the fourth, it's gonna be strange.

That said, afterwards I think I'll go spend some quality time with my good old father. (insert idolic figure here) Bless America!

OOC: "Anyway... according to what that child said to me before I ripped his head off and set it on fire, using it as a torch, the next city must be just beyond here."

Quote of the week.

I really got nothing to do here, so I'm gonna wait til everyone catches up.

Grey noticed the plateful of turkey, and grinned at Daiel. He held his hand up to the guest in a stopping motion, and addressed him politely.

Grey: "Ha, no thanks, man. I don't do the whole "meat" thing. Bad for my health, you see. Eating lots of vegetables and getting my iron and protein elsewhere helps me stay trim. But thanks for the offer, since this IS a special occasion, I might take you up on it later on."

That said, he then dug into a massive plate of grape tomatoes and continued eating.

With Kalar and Garro socializing at the open bar, and Grey completely immersed in gorging himself on formerly living plants, Janus was left alone on the dance floor, surrounded by the competitors. In fact, everyone seemed to be representing in some way, save for one person...

Janus: "Excuse me, Mr. Psychic, but I think before you start messing with other people's heads..."

Janus had appeared in the blink of an eye behind Schwa, knowing full well what his buddy was trying to do. He was making it pretty obvious, with the whole "powerful amounts of Psi" thing.

".... You should try what you're advertising!"

Hooking Satchel around Schwa's waist, Janus swings him onto the dance floor, and releases him, plunging him into the exact center of the crowd of dancers.

"Come on, Prince, let's see what you can do!"
