Ah, I hate to drop the hammer on this one, but neither of you are making any sense whatsoever. It's not just RYjet, SpiderMew, it's you too.

Both of you are making everything you're saying very hard to understand. The distinction between action, reaction, and banter is extremely hard to catch, and the fact that neither of you are adhering to the basic english rules of grammar when you post also says something about your conflicts with each other.

I believe this is a problem of clarity. If the two of you can make your actions and writing in general clearer and possibly more concise, if you can make it so that they can be easily read and comprehended by the other participant, then these problems should clear up by themselves.

Also, RYjet, I was under the impression that your leg was removed.... How were you able to jump so easily?

Janus gives Dracoon a little bit of encouragement...

Janus: "Come on, you'll see... Just give him a hug, be nice to him. And hurry up about it, too. I have a bad feeling about this if you don't."

Janus: "Thanks for your suspicion, but they're not here. Just me alone. And I'm sure as hell not Grey, unfortunately for you, True Melvin from this timeline."

This was going to be a slaughter... Janus knew that Red was waiting on the sidelines still, ready to jump in, but there was no way that was gonna happen, as the firey warrior was surprised when the arena doors slammed shut on his side, leaving Janus alone to face all nine of them. Janus grinned. How many bullets was that?

It was like staring futility in the face and watching it wink at you.

Grey: "What I'm wondering is what took them so long to notice us in this drab, empty, desolate, black and white, uncolored, unfeatured, sterile, ominously tiny place. We're only a group of gigantic, loudly-attired travelers made famous by a near-holy mission involving the most powerful artifacts in the world, after all."

He grins merrily, and pulls out his pistol.

"I say we humor them."

Grey: "Second period....... Math! Rightho, off I go!"

Striding merrily down the halls and passing a dashing young man assisting an excessively beautiful young woman with her locker, Grey suddenly realizes how much of a complete and utter loser he is.

"I do? Aww...."

He was actually friendless, when it came down to brass tacks. Sure, there was Star, but that was only because of the detention club. Plus, he almost never came to school anymore, so it was kinda hard for them to associate. There was that Kirby Nite fellow, but they had just met about 20 minutes ago. Not much of an impression made. In high school, it was lways good to have friends, especially when...

Nameless NPC # 388, Bully Model: "Hey, Tatters! What's eatin' you? Yo' mama couldn't afford a new suit?"

......The assholes came around. Kalar sighed. Another year of discontent. Pay no attention to them, Kalar thought as he placed a reddening flesh hand over a steel arm... Nothing you're doing is wrong. No reason to hate, no reason to get mad. No reason to listen. But every step he took brought on a new insult.

He always tried to think of where he'd be in a few years. Out of here, to a place where people were more mature. Easiest thing to do was just live, day to day. Don't talk to anyone, don't bother anyone, don't hurt anyone. Stay out of other people's business. That's what Star told him.

But JE-EEZ! He needed someone to confide in, or he was gonna go insane! Eventually, anyway.

Grey: "Hm? Oh... I'm here."

He had spotted a textbook in the arms of his earlier inspirator. Grey wondered what class he was taking as he walked into his own. Mr. Merdinyan awaited with a goofy grin on his face, ready to wreak havoc on the minds of his new students.

M. Merdinyan: "Well, there! Good to see you again, Grey! I trust you'll be ready to actually PASS my class, this time?"

Grey: "What, you mean like I did last year?"

Mr. M: "Sure, sure, you keep that in mind."

Grey took a seat in the front row, rightmost column. Same as last year. Unoccupied, same again.

Kalar's eyes were treated to the sight of a pair of meadows, tracts of plains rolling in the distance. Beauty. Rapture. Contentment. And all of it lost to a gigantic grinning face in the sky. Every last blade of grass, every cow, chicken, horse, human and dog would be completely annihilated.

Sights like this one, where nature reigned supreme and there was nothing at all keeping anyone from sadness were depressing reminders of the fate the world faced in three (well, almost two by now...) days.

His lame-ass attempt at being dramatic over, Kalar turned to the group. They were faced with a very important choice.

Kalar: "So, do we call this a Cow farm or Chicken farm?"

Janus got to his feet and shook himself off. What kind of ninja lady did something like that?

Janus: "I... Whoa."

Ha, cool, he thought. Two Stars.

"Alright, then. She just ran away, right? It's not like she was defeated, or destroyed, or annihilated, or even stopped?

No sign of her, just the destruction. He wished he could have helped Dracoon and his friends, though.

"Dammit, it feels like Origin is just playing with us, now. First, we face an insane monster, then each other, then our greatest fears... Now this! This is stupid, this is pointless!"

Janus paced around the room. There was no indication of relief, he was trapped in a room with a pair of madmen that would slice each other to ribbons if they had half a chance, and all the while, he wasn't even close to helping out... Nijote had made such short work of him AND a group of the strongest people he had ever met, it was embarassing!

*sigh* "Man, futility sucks. Anyone got an idea of where to go next? It looks like the dude in the robe and that crazy embodiment of darkness are going downstairs to the next suicide run. Opinions?"

Ladies and gents, Pichu.

Why? Because I can. He's so weak, that just saying you're capable of beating people with him shows enough.

Other than that, I can be seen using Marth, Kid Link, Kirby, and on occasion I'll be adventurous and use Luigi. He was Kung Fu fighting.

I do not, however, wavedash. I don't know how to, and I don't care because I'm still able to beat Phil (though he got me last time because I actually haven't picked up the game in four months).

Janus: "Figures. You guys."

Kalar: "Were you expecting anything else?"

Garro: "We thought you might have forgotten about us!"

Janus: "Sadly, I've got to say no to both of you on that one..."

Janus' mind was a screwed up place. There was good, evil, light, dark, anger, happiness, and a whole bunch of mental contradictions. Sometimes they took physical form in front of him, apparently.

More accurately, Janus remembered these two from a journey to an alternative timeline he had made some time prior to his current adventure. In it, evil had ruled the world and the role of good, everpresent as evil was in this strange, twisted world, had taken on simple relativity as an opposing force that was continually stomped down upon. In short, Janus was on the wrong side of the law the moment he set foot in that universe. Purely for the sake of curiosity, Janus decided that if this was an inverted version of his own universe, there must have been inverted versions of himself and his good buddy Grey, conveniently located outside of that universe for this particular adventure.

And exist, they did! The two of them proved to be dangerous, cruel, devastatingly powerful foes, both of which were hellbent on killing Janus the moment they saw him, not out of anger or blind fury or anything like that, but simply because they were just that mean! Fortunately, Janus managed to defeat them by a hairsbreadth, giving Kalar the metal right arm and right leg he sported today in the process. After escaping from that universe with all of his body parts intact, Janus vowed never again to mention, visit, or come into conflict with either of them ever again.

Origin, however, obviously decided otherwise, having taken the two of them directly from Janus' memory and allowing them to reconstruct themselves from there. But since this was Origin's tower, Janus couldn't help to believe they were just illusions.

Still, Kalar looked very real, with his ragged, tattered black suit and his robotic arm and leg. As Janus' opposite, he took no truck whatsoever in any of that "tactical modification" stuff, or in mulling about in videogame logic. Instead, he learned everything from the outside, with incredible cognitive abilities. He stood there in the inky black crystal, a massive scythe with a near-transparent blade leaned against his shoulder, and long black hair concealing one of two eyes that glowed an eerie red when he knew he had something new to learn. Creepy? Yes. Deadly? Yes. Surprisingly pleasant-mannered? Of course. That was Kalar.

His companion, however, was what struck the most fear in Janus' heart. Garro was Grey's opposite, and thus an incredibly, unfathomably powerful individual. His attire was similar in style to Grey's, with a long, yet not nearly as bulky, outer coat, and a wide-brimmed hat replacing the ever-popular fedora everyone's favorite detective sported. His inner attire was what separated him: Black khaki shirt and pants, made to fit perfectly. A white collar was around his neck, laced in the cuff that surrounded his neck, short, black, and neat. Also around his neck, attached to a chain, was a strange object. Two pieces of wood, attached to each other to form a small lowercase "t" shape. White gloves covered his hands. A pair of silver pistols were holstered within his coat, each one situated below one of his shoulders. His round, shining eyeglasses concealed a pair of soft yet intense eyes. He radiated an unseen aura of serenity and purity, which, had Janus not been terrified to pieces at seeing him, would have given one the impression of a very nice, very understanding and intelligent individual. The Dark Priest himself, Garro. The man who used the power of Good for the forces of Evil.

Janus honestly believed they were just illusions, but nevertheless, a sense of foreboding overtook him...

Janus: "Besides that, you can't possibly be real. Axel was just an illusion. You're just an illusion, too."

Garro: "Believe what you want, but I can tell you you'll be sorely disappointed..."

At this Garro reached into his coat with both hands and drew his guns, pointing them at Janus and clicking off the safety on each one.

"....When you find yourself filled with bullets."

He took considerably less than careful aim, and compensated by firing so many bullets that you'd think he was wielding a pair of dual machine guns. The fact was, his trigger finger was just that fast. The beauty of a semi-automatic weapon.

Instinctively Janus jumped to the side, the stragglers of the bullet-fire ripping holes in the jacket of his suit. Those things were real!

Janus: "You..."

Kalar: "Yes, that's correct. We're here in the flesh. Perfect copies created by Dark Phoenix's magic. Permanent residents of your world."

Garro: "And, of course, just as evil as before."

Janus: "Bastards! There's only one Janus and one Grey in this world, and I'm one of them!"

He grabbed Satchel and charged them speedily, disappearing and reappearing behind and slightly above Garro's head! He swung his hammer downward , only to be instantly blocked mid-swing by a quick parry from the handle of Kalar's weapon. Kalar grinned and winked.

Kalar: "Relax, other me. Evil doesn't rule in this world, right? I think you'll find we're not nearly as big of a problem for you as you'd expect us to be."

Garro: "But that doesn't mean we're not going to be a problem."

The cruel tone he took in saying such words was reflected by his actions, as he raised his guns, and placed his arms around Kalar's body to fire another hail of bullets at Janus. The guns took him by surprise and filled him with searing hot steel, throwing him backward and leaving him a bloody mess, stumbling backward on his feet. Kalar then jumped upward and landed before Janus, his scythe cutting a neat slice downward on Janus' right side, taking his right arm and leg off in one clean swipe!

Kalar: "And that's for my arm and leg, asshole."

Janus: "I............ I........"

Janus was left lying in the middle of the crystal in a pool of his own blood, his arm and leg on the floor beside his body. Bullet wounds littered his corpse as he lay dying, once, again, and constantly. Time almost seemed to stretch itself out as the seconds passed, bringing him ever closer to yet another death.

(thinking): "They killed me.... again..."

Garro: "Haha, nice one, Kalar. Come on, let's get out of here."

Kalar: "Right. But, uh, well, how? There doesn't seem to be any doors, and this crystal wasn't affected by your bullets, or they wouldn't have ricocheted earlier..."

Garro: "Hm, an interesting conundrum."

He looked at Janus' body, which had already slowly begun to regenerate. Damn fool, Garro thought. He just won't die. But he might be able to be used for something...

"He's about to regenerate himself. Perhaps we can use him as a means of escape. We only just caught him by surprise now anyway. Next time won't be so easy."

Kalar: "What if he attacks us again?"

Garro made a cross of his guns, and blessed them quickly, making them glow white with holy energy. He kissed each of them on the barrel, and they glowed even whiter. Garro then put them back in their holsters.

Garro: "He won't. I can guarantee that."

I challenge you to enter the words "anti veganism" into your local search engine. The population of vegans in America grows by the day, and I was wondering about everyone's opinions on the subject. I've found some interesting pro-vegan material, like this particular article on the biological problems associated with drinking milk:

linky doesn't work It does now

I dunno, that Harvard study was cited incorrectly: There was no conclusive evidence in either direction, when the article claims that people who drank milk were more susceptible to bone fractures.

So, I'm neutral to the whole issue. On the one hand, I sympathize with PETA on the subjects of animal abuse in factories...

But on the other hand, I can't say the vegan lifestyle doesn't go to extremes. I'm really concerned, for example, about my girlfriend hurting herself because she doesn't eat right (she's trying to make the shift from vegetarian to full vegan).

What do you all think?
