| axelay kicked ass with mode 7, bahamut lagoon looked good with crazy gradients, and yoshi's island just kicked ass overall. as for dkc... i don't know enough about the snes shit to know if this is that special, but i was replaying it a while ago and there are a lot of things like the blue lights on some levels and other thigns that seem to have multilevels of transparency.. i havent seen that on any other games, so.. well, maybe it just looks special next to the prerendered graphics. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

actually it does kind of look like he might be about to die in the last panel there. no such luck though. actually the first year or so of strips, where garfield was humongously fat, were actually really good.. though i havent read em in a few years, but i seem to remember that.. then they were sporadically good for a few years after that.. now theyre repetitive, but sometimes he hits on something funny. one problem is that even when the concept is funny or could be funny he fucks up the delivery. for example, it almost always seems dumber (to me anyway) when the punchline is just by itself in the last panel with the other characters looking shocked or sarcastic or whatever.. its nearly always better to try to have at least one bit of dialogue just before the punchline in the last panel. um... this would be more readable in paragraphs.. screw it |

the only hard part about sml2 was the last level/boss fight with no midway point.. its lucky you build up a lot of lives up to that point because you have to expend so many of them to learn how to get through the level consistently.. or at least i did. i only got killed by the last boss once, but that was enough after i spent hours just getting to him.. it was several days before i was willing to play again, and luckily when i reached the last boss again i beat him.. (i know, hes not that hard, but theres some pressure when you know you have to fight your way through that whole thing again if you fuck up) |
anyway... i actually enjoyed mario is missing and mario`s time machine a lot when i was a kid. of course i more recently played mario is missing on an emulator and it wasnt very good, but it definitely wasnt bad. and i remember enjoying marios time machine more back in the day, because it was so strange... well whatever.. ive heard from many sources that e.t. is indeed the worst game ever, but i'm going to play all the games on this list before i cast my vote.

And no, it's not hard to code. Just an extra check for $_POST['pass1'] === $_POST['pass2'] or whatever. Oh yeah, and... on kiwibonga's board, you can just stay logged in with the cookie, but to edit your profile, you need to re-enter your password... which is good.
