Yup. Two perfect innings of relief, too. Your question.

Well, DC's offering to fully fund a stadium, so we'll see. MLB's GOT to do something with them this year. Idn't that right, Colleen?

... good god that's a lotta windows, frantik. Although UltraEdit must come in handy with its tabbed windows.

164, at a fundraiser for lupus research a coupla weeks ago. See what happens when you're man enough to bowl with a pink ball and not care about it? Perfect ball, I was nice and relaxed... finally started hitting strikes instead of blowing makeable spares.

otaku: I think he was looking for something more. I say they were all former Expos. If I'm right, we go with your question, because I'm LAAAZY.

(Clarification: They didn't all START their careers with the Expos... Pedro came up as a Dodger. If you're counting Randy Johnson as an Expo since he played there for a year and a half, you can't count Pedro, because he put in that much time as well.)

There were two semi-similar shows here... House Rules and House Wars. They didn't have to build it, but they had to decorate the houses they were given (I forget which was which, but the one hosted by Mark Walberg featured dissimilar houses, while the other one had identical ones). One of 'em was on USA, the other on TBS.

There's another show on now where they have to build a house, but I think it may be single people. Might be couples, I dunno. And I think George Wendt hosts.

Eight Simple Rules... pulled off a rare feat: jumped on day one, de-jumped at the beginning of season two, then re-jumped immediately after John Ritter died. He was the only reason it was watchable for those few episodes.

Well, you can't say he isn't outspoken. And I don't think he was playing the race card, although I didn't see all of that segment. He's fine by me, so long as he isn't actually using it.

I remember finding one online (forget the name), but I think it was VB4 or something similarly ancient. So yeah, your best bet is to acquire the real thing.

Well, I know he's on record as being ready to jump to satellite (XM or Sirius) if the FCC crawls too far up his ass... Really, we need to get the FCC to, uhm, stop doing their jobs so zealously. The mores of Northwest Bumfuck, Wyoming do not reflect the entire country. And let's not forget what started everything.

A breast. Most women and some guys have 'em. And yet, we've deemed it offensive and gone batshit because one was on TV for half a millisecond.

I think they might... I'll have to check.

Since my digital cable guide is slow as shite, I will snicker at the ad Cartoon Network would run involving the Wonder Twins... "Form of... CRAAAAAAAAAP!"

Hrm... doesn't show up.

Finished? Mick Foley's Foley Is Good (And the Real World Is Faker Than Wrestling). Second half of his autobiography, covering from when he won the WWF title (and Tony Schiavone gave away Raw's results on Nitro) up until about 2001. Really hilarious... the chapter entitled the Legend of the Penis Suplex is required reading.

Currently plowing through Bill Reynolds's Lost Summer. That's about the 1967 Red Sox and their beyond-improbable run to the World Series. Kinda parallels the 2003 Marlins. Except their uber-playboy shortstop didn't have his career cut short by getting beaned.

Toxic: VERY good. It's on my Really, Really Short List of Good Books. Along with Ball Four, but there's room for more that I own but haven't read (there's tons).

I wasn't really freaked out much, per se. Although when I was about 5, I was scared for my brother when he was playing SMB... I thought when Mario died, he would too. However, some of the enemy placement in Wolfenstein makes me jump when I'm playing it. (Mind you, I play with headphones, in the dark, so that can't help.)

Although there was this one ColecoVision game that scared the CRAP out of my brother... it was a giant alien face in a cutscene at the beginning of the game. Didn't bother me much. I forget the name, but I'll look it up.

Should be a fairly self-explanatory question. Eventually, I plan on building a home theater PC, and one of the main functions will be to emulate consoles up to and including the Sega Genesis/SNES generation. (Yes, that also means starting at the beginning, too.) However, I'm not sure what OS I'd use... WinXP Media Center or a flavor of Linux. Which OS do you think would work better for this purpose? I'd also be using it as a PVR, MP3 jukebox, DVD player, and all the other things home theater PC's do, but this is my big concern.
