Kitten Yiffer: You're right about LttP: he was banished to the Realm, turned into Stumpy the Slack-Jawed Archnemesis. Actually, I think they had very consistent internal logic, as far as I know (haven't played MM, FS+/A, MC). Getting too hung up on minutiae really confuses things. windwaker: I haven't finished the titular game (WW, people) yet but isn't it established that your character isn't related to Link? Terra = royals, we know that much, but you're not him, you just dress the part and wield the Master Sword, no? |

Zarathud: Might I suggest Busdriver? Even though he's basically a lower-rent Twista as far as speed-rapping goes, he's more interesting. |
I've also come to appreciate Nas more lately. New album, first single, the beat's basically a typical blues riff. And his father (avant-garde jazz trumpeter Olu Dara) has the hook, too. Melvin: Who knew Dolores O'Riordan could rap?

By any chance, did you make the inventory longer? Because, you know, that would be FUCKING BADASS if you did. |
Not like the hack isn't already, of course.

It's really hardcore (not the genre, an adjective) new wave. Only song I've heard is "Drug Like", and it's okay. I was pretty apathetic about their other bands (Reunion Show and Count the Stars), but it's still eh. |

I can't see him working with McCain. As much as it'd help him get his way, major sports leagues treasure autonomy. Why do you think NBA commish David Stern didn't want an arbitrator fiddling with the suspensions he handed out for the brawl? |
Either way, it's refreshing to see a steroid policy with some teeth. Maybe not a full set, but you've gotta go through baby teeth, right? It's kind of foolish to expect them to have something like the NFL's policy. In terms of power and influence: MLBPA > all potted plant > NFLPA There's just no way they'd get anything like THAT through (test positive once, get the hook for a quarter of the season). Just too much power. (Then again, people DID say we wouldn't see a meaningful policy in baseball due to the union, but the clean players got sick of a few bad apples and pushed for it.)

Toxic: That's the joy of living RIGHT on the borderline. I can pull for the Red Sox, then turn around and support the Giants (football) and Rangers (hockey, assuming the NHL comes back from the dead, but does not get up and kill everyone). |
So you've heard about Randy Moss, right? After scoring his second TD in a Vikings whomping of Green Bay, he turned his back to the crowd, motioned as if he were mooning them (mimed dropping his pants... did everything but actually grab his pants) then rubbed his (clothed, mind you) ass on the goalposts. Fox and ESPN initially cranked up the outrage machine, but some time around 5:30 EST Monday (read: Pardon the Interruption), they said not showing it was stupid and just aired the incident (then called it what it was... a nothing issue). Is it ever the No Fun League... Moss got fined $10,000. Let me repeat: He ACTED like he was mooning them. Did anyone see naked Moss ass? Nope. Is it news? Nope. How'd he make news, then? Scoring two touchdowns. Not because of a TD dance, not because of his hair (a 'fro of Boondocks-ian proportions), which Skip Bayless bitched about on Cold Pizza the next morning. However, a voice of reason: Randy Moss: Reporter: "Write the check yet, Randy?" Moss: "When you're rich you don't write checks." Reporter: "If you don't write checks, how do you pay these guys?" Moss: "Straight cash, homey." Reporter: "Randy, are you upset about the fine?" Moss: "No, cause it ain't shit. Ain't nothing but 10 grand. What's 10 grand to me? Ain't shit (restricted) |

No, no, a thousand times no. |

oniblade: I did. They still suck. (Although "A Decade Under the Influence" puts them into that rareified One Good Song territory, occupied by limelights like Creed and Default.) |
8. Sparta: Porcelain 7. Mos Def: The New Danger 6. Future Soundtrack for America 5. Killers: Hot Fuss 4. Radio 4: Stealing Of A Nation 3. Dogs Die in Hot Cars: Please Describe Yourself 2. Hot Water Music: The New What Next 1. McLusky: The Difference Between Me And You Is I'm Not On Fire The top two are interchangable, though. (edited by drjayphd on 01-19-05 07:45 PM)

CheesePie: Uhm, what. |
Mine's got a camera attachment. However, one button just doesn't WORK. The button you need to do to do anything besides place or answer calls.

...oh. Well, I remember seeing an editor, but it was kinda crap (okay, it looked like shite... probably from the Windows 3.1 user interface master class) so if they're updating it, I can't complain. |

In the name of flogging a dead horse, sometimes, VB is all we know. And no, we don't have time/patience/motivation to learn another language just because VB's kinda crappy. Honestly, I'd be happy to just finish ReSpin (thought I forgot? ) and then, probably release the source code. How about more game show game hacks? Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, etc. Make that more hacks of non-action/adventure/RPG games. Sure, those are probably the easiest to do, but how many SMW/SMB1/FF1 hacks can you DO?
