I'm not planning on spamming 'em... I do get a good deal thanks to connections, and I'm not paying for it either...  Anyway, it's a time out. There's an error message: iTunes could not connect to the Music Store. Make sure your network connection is active and try again. Oh, and the test page didn't work either. Same message. | Well, the flowers kinda help. I think they cancel out weeds too (one flower = one weed go baibai), but I plant three per acre. And it gives you the axe after AT LEAST two weeks. I think it took me three... not sure. But if you don't get it after fourteen perfect days, just keep waiting. Maybe it's that you've got too many weeds? Try a-pullin'. |

| Its just something about the cadillacs and bling-bling. It gets old after awhile. BLASPHEMER!  We usedta have MuchMusic. And it was good. Then they made it MuchMusic USA. And it sucked, as they canned all the interesting (read: Canadian) videos. Then it became Fuse. Although the snarking on MTV was nice, it just didn't work. And now it's been off our digital cable for a year. However, we DO get MTV2 now, which is appreciated. They actually play good videos more often than not. Even if the mothership was the only place I saw the new Killers video... and they DIDN'T PUT UP THE CREDITS (you know, artist, song title, album title, label, director). Weenies.  |

| On the trade that wadn't: This is the time on Sprockets when we ass-dance. Oh, and the Red Sox have officially inked Matt Clement (3/$25.5) and Wade Miller (1/$1.5 base, I think up to $4 million in incentives too). Miller was inexplicably non-tendered by the Astros, although he DID miss a chunk of last season due to a torn rotator cuff. He's probably no Lowe, but he is effective. |

| Not exactly, oniblade. Post-hardcore's more along the lines of Fugazi, where they work in other influences like dub but sound like punk evolved. Post-rock is more like bands like the Sea and Cake as well as Tortoise. They throw in jazz elements as well as other stuff (like doing a song in 25/8 time if they please). I dunno if I'd call Trail of Dead (as the kids call 'em) post-rock, but I wouldn't say they aren't either. They're decidedly indie rock, but they do fool around with it quite a bit. Source Tags and Codes is taking a while to grow on me, but it is quite good (recommended: "Another Morning Stoner" and... uhm... track four). That and they're HIGH-LARIOUS in interviews (good luck getting them to tell you what the name means). Favorite comment: "Another Morning Stoner" is them trying to be like early U2... the title gives it away, as the song is about faith and erections (well, "stoner" is allegedly Gaelic slang for a hard-on). |

| np: Underworld: "Shudder/King of Snake" (Live) This one's off the Everything, Everything album. Dunno if Darren Emerson was still with 'em at this point (think he was, then left before the album came out). You'd think acts of their ilk wouldn't translate well to live performance, but they do. This one's dragged out a bit, though, clocking in at 12:17. (It's four minutes before anything other than the bassline kicks in.) Of course, the original was NINE MINUTES, so it kinda doesn't matter. One of the better songs off of Beaucoup Fish (and I think that fitting with the title, it might make a good song for Snake Man's stage in MM3... yay for that bassline). However, the next song's even better: "Born Slippy NUXX". Sadly, there's nothing about snake-hunting on this one, unlike the album version. |

| I call bullshit on how they found it, though. It's in the trunk, right? Cops can't check the trunk without at least probable cause. And guess what. They didn't have it, near as I can tell. I've been stopped at my share of checkpoints, and they never ask that. The most they've done was looked to make sure everyone's wearing their seatbelts. Beyond that, a simple "had anything to drink?" is all I've had to deal with. Since they most likely couldn't legally check the trunk, there's no reason to bust him. Methinks there were some shenanigans going on there (some cop felt a need to flex nuts and didn't care about what they could legally do), or your friend has no idea about police decorum. |
