And yeah, Northwestern's win over OSU was their first home win over them in 50-something years. That's being owned, kids.

This is just wrong. It's all slick and crap... recorded for his 2001 greatest hits compilation, so it's slathered in drum machines and other processed guitar heroics. Really doesn't do anyone any favors. And what's with the harmonica? However, I will say that at least his voice works disturbingly well for this song. Sometimes he sounds kinda like he's trying to be Jim Kerr, but he takes this heapashit and makes it work. (Okay, he doesn't, but he tries his hardest.)

Smoking Popes: Pretty good pop-punk, but the singer sings like a lounge singer. Good luck trying to find their stuff, though... I think most of their post-"Born to Quit" material's out of print. (The lead singer went and got hisself saved, breaking up the band.)

Living End: They usedta be named after a Stray Cats song, nahmean youhear.

Sounds: Obvious Blondie influences, but "Seven Days A Week" is three minutes of creamy goodness. Also "Living in America", "Reggie", "Dance With Me", "Mine for Life" (wait, that's half the album).

Paris Texas - "Bombs Away"... also that damn good.

Let me also second the following recommendations.

Dipped into explorer.exe with ResHacker, with no luck. Sooo... YOU answer this for me.

You know how, in XP, when you go to change your wallpaper (right click on desktop, "Properties", "Desktop")... you get what's in the wallpaper folder (forget the path offhand) and the contents of "My Pictures"? How can I take "My Pictures" out of there? I've got things set up so I don't need this, nor do I want to.

If this is confusing, I'll take a pic for ya.

Memorex 128 MB MP3 player. Oh, and an MP3 CD player in me car.

Obviously.

(Love the car stereo... fit about 12 discs onto one CD-R. AND it works with their 12-disc CD changer, so you don't have to do much of ANYTHING. ^____^)

There's a big-screen TV in the living room. Broken. Shoulda gotten fixed months ago. To the left: A 39" TV, on the floor. In front of the big-screen: A wicker basket (which we should really toss). Atop that? A Gamecube and PS1. I swap the cables in the front of the other TV as need be. Most of my other stuff's packed up.

Expect a better setup when I get my own room in a usable condition.
