Colleen: Ever hear of a beard?  I'm going to see Summerslam in a coupla hours... first PPV I watched that wasn't on tape since WM11.  In the meantime, while thrifting, I found the Best of Confidential Volume 1 and Summerslam 2002. On DVD, no less, for $5 each. That NEVER happens.  |

| What. The. Crap. Puerto Rico beats the US, 92-73. Yes, in basketball. I only caught the second half but they were listless the whole time. They seemed to play with some urgency in the beginning of the fourth quarter (when they cut it down to eight) but it was just too much. NO TAKING GAMES OFF. Morons. | Slight problem with that bit of trivia, Elmo. Ian Curtis is, uhm, kinda dead right now. Joy Division disbanded after he hung himself (couldn't deal with his epilepsy, and I think his marriage may have been on the rocks). Then they reformed as the BEYOND ass-whippin' New Order. The guy who did the cover of "Mad World" is Gary Jules. Leg, I kinda like the cover better. The original's WAY too synth-poppy for the lyrics. |

The beat sounds sort of vaguely like a Timbaland beat, and the voice kinda sounds like LL now that I think about it... Still, it's quite good, if not a touch repetitive. |

| While we're discussing adaptors, anyone know the specs for the Genesis AC adaptor? I managed to come across two Genesii (first and second versions) and only one has an adaptor. Also, the first edition one has a Sega CD strapped to it and that doesn't have an adaptor either. And I believe the first edition (or maybe the second) has a broken RF switch: the plug on the console's end is missing. What can I get to replace it (and preferably something with A/V plugs)? | ||||||||||
