No wonder the only reason G4's still around is that they bought out TechTV. I saw a couple of G4's shows on the previews, and good LORD do their production values suck. They also treated TechTV's staffers like crap, too. The only good thing I could say about them is that at least the host of Sweat sounds like he kinda knows about sports. Then again, my opinion might be tainted because they killed the only rerun of the Screen Savers that I can watch. ;P

Just to follow up, that block which Gavin mentioned in the first part (the Respond Rate noise) can be found starting at $3ADAD. Trying to figure it out... anyone know if this follows the same format as the music? |

Yeah, I wasn't all that impressed with G4TV.com's hosts, either... why are they trying to look like radio hosts? Unless they also do the show on their site... They might grow on me, who knows. |

G4 was gaming, TechTV was general technology. We got TechTV via digital cable... I think some places may have it on basic, but I'm betting most have to go digital/DirecTV. |

JJ64: Packing the ballot boxes with your team's players is nothing new. I think it was back in the 60's, but Cincinnati managed to get, like, six starters voted in by the team aggressively campaigning at games. It wasn't a machine, either. They just pimped their players. |
I think the commish should have some power to do something about questionable voting (Nomar/Jeter), but then again, it IS how Ripken kept getting in despite not really being an All-Star caliber player... Anyway, the managers will pick their own... it's their prerogative, no? Not that it's right, but it's what happens.
