Honestly, a pawn shop nearby recently was selling a PAL adapter with the Japanese version of Final Fantasy VI. I didn't have any money at the time for it ... but if it's still there (yeah right) I'll probably pick it up soon.

The adapter was an ntsc like cart that could go into a US SNES, but with a PAL insert at the top (hence the Japanese FFVI).

Everyone else: Yeah, trust me on having backups. I look at my SNES collection as something 'special' somewhat, and wouldn't risk ruining a game if I only had one copy.

But, would a LttP cart work for making the SD3 english cart? Or would I need Illusion of Gaia? I'm not sure what games out there are hirom.

Anyways, sorry for taking this topic off topic a bit.

Yeah, I've already done that. So newly registered users have that set to Auto-Updating, but a good chunk of older users before the conversion don't.

I could go in and edit everyone, but yeah that would take awhile. But I thought there were global commands that you could use in PMA.

Well, I guess that's why I should actually learn some MySQL.

Well, in reading MathOnNapkins post correctly, what I meant was that Luke may not be a "Master".

Yes, he's clearly a Jedi Knight, but just maybe not the rank of a Master.

Then again it doesn't matter, since he restores the Jedi Order, may as well call him Jedi Deus.

Are you sure that's fact?

Anakin didn't get the rank himself, I guessed because of his age, but it seemed like they did "consider" giving the title to him; when he himself had no apprentice under him.

I wouldn't say the beginning was a "snore fest", but it did seem a little slow. Yes, the last half-hour totally rocked though.

Interesting fact though, since I watched the last bit of RoTJ last night (back to the possible plot-flaw in the birth, and childhoods of Leia and Luke)

Luke specifically asks Leia: "Do you remember your mother, your real mother?"

Just thought I'd point that out.

Can't say I've heard of them ... and I can't really check them out exactly now.

I'm a huge fan of Metroid Metal, OC Remixs, and stuff like that, on top of that I love Edguy (swedish power metal), so this does seem promising.

I'll give my thoughts on it later.

I was hoping he wouldn't be.

Don't get me wrong, the guy has a great voice, but I think I'm a little sick of hearing "Spike" in almost every single english dubbing these days.

On top of that, in Episode IV when Obi-Wan is showing off Anakin's lightsaber to Luke, he says:

Meh, I think it was a little plot goof, others agree.

It doesn't really bother me though, afterall I've come to like this movie as much as the originals. It's not "better" than IV-VI, but I personally now think it ranks up to them.

I'm seeing it again tonight, and tommorow.

Bad gameplay?

Did you not hear already ... it's being handled by the FFT / Mana team? Not sure how they can whip up bad gameplay ... but if you insist.

Besides, they're completely redoing the battle system.
