Whoops ...

They must be different then.

Funny, you went through world 9 easily, but not A-D. So yeah, must be a difference compared to All-Stars.

They stick to what they know. Currently there is a lot of chatter about Blu-Ray and HD being scrapped altogether and Samsung/Sony co-developing a new format that takes the best of both worlds (massive storage (bad: slow ass fuck) and super fast transfer capability (bad: none, really)) and meld them together. But from a purely technical stand point, the HD-DVD system is a lot better. It is cheaper, it is faster and it holds a reedonkulous amount of data compared to modern DVDs.

Well truthfully, HD-DVD's don't sound bad at all. Just compared to Blu-Ray ...

But, a new format? Not a bad idea I'd say. And in the end, I'm sure it's up to the system on how well they put these formats to use.

Kitty Jedi: I'd still like to see another "Ultra, Mega, Omega, Aeon" Nintendo system, like the Super Nintendo.

Sorry I haven't been too active with this. I was without internet for about a week, since we moved (had to relocate our DSL) and I've just been really busy with other things.

But I think I can start back up with this.

Leaving off with Silent Hill 2, yes. Grey leads.

Grey - 7
Apophis - 6
Trapster - 4
kristopher_pearman - 4
Ziffski - 3
Sonicandtails - 3
Emptyeye - 3
Jagori - 3
dragon master - 2
NSNick - 1
Karadur - 1
Dark Vampriel - 1
JefF - 1
Scatterheart - 1

Begin yet again!

You've got a lot of stuff I'd like Xk.

I used to have an NES ...

Games were:
Blaster Master
Super Mario Bros + Duck Hunt
Mario Bros
Robocop 3
Elevator Action
Super Mario Bros 3
Megaman 6
Kung Fu

I sold all those when the N64 was new, to get games and crap.
I had 2 NES's that both died anyways.

But yeah, I don't trade in games anymore these days. HUGE WASTE.

Edit: By the way, I should be getting Secret of Mana soon. Been wanting that game for years.

Actually, he's been here exactly one more day than me.

He's just ... very active.

Then again, I was gone for 3 months about a year ago, then a few week here and there. So, I'd probably be higher myself.

But yeah, I honestly could careless about post count. All I care about is being over 1,000, and having a custom title.

Nah. Jack Black probably just felt like making something crappy, awesome, since he is, The One.

Man, I want to go watch the Tenacious D DVD now.

Adamant: I bet you play Wand of Gamelon, very often.

Kyouji Craw: Surprising to see someones DC list, shorter than mine. (I have 2 games)

So yeah, would you guys say Final Fantasy II(us) is worth it for the SNES? Turns out, Vintage Stock is now Out of Stock with Secret of Mana ... (somebody will die).

Maybe I'll just save my money and wait though, they did have Chrono Trigger there recently, but FFIV is very good ...

Also, anyone want to send me Megaman X3? Swear, I haven't seen that game in person for like 10 years.

Also, I didn't care to post my PC games, here's the list of what I can remember though (I don't really care for PC gaming all that much).

Half-Life
Halo PC
Need for Speed 3
Dark Forces
Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight
Jedi Knight Expansion Pack
The Lost Vikings 2
Sonic CD
Sonic 3 and Knuckles
Starcraft
Total Annihilation
Star Wars Republic Commando
Frogger
Shogo
Sepera Core

One system that I had, and wished I still did?
Well two, Sega CD and an NES.

I thought I'd go ahead and share this regretful past of mine here today, in this post.

I once had a Sega Genesis / CD attached. The games I owned with it were:
Sonic CD
Jurassic Park CD
Ecco the Dolphin CD
Rister
Sonic Spinball
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sonic and Knuckles
Vectorman
Comix Zone
Earthworm Jim
Toejam and Earl 2

Also had 2 regular controllers, and 6 button Superpad thing.

This was around the time the Saturn, N64 and PSX were extremely new, so all of these games and the system still had great value. (I was in maybe, 5th or 6th grade)

My family decided, we were going to have a garage sale. The N64 came out, and well I really wanted one, and was willing to sell everything above for games and such, since "I didn't play it anymore".

It turned out I was going to be gone that day of the Garage sale, so I gave the system, 3 controllers, and all the games to my mom to handle. The Price? My mom said she would handle it.

I had a great time spending the night at my friends house, as usual.

Then I got home, quickly went up to my mom asking how much money I made for the system, and everything with it.

"10$ Dollars".

I think I almost died.

Have a story, that would be worse than that?

And well I've started up with my Genesis collection now. I bought a Genesis, Vectorman 1 and 2, and Ecco the Dolphin all for about $20 ... so I'm off to a good start. But, that's more than double of what my mom had put up for all of the above, about 10 years ago.

Ugh. Never let your parents sell your stuff.

mrmenz: I also bought the $30 Strategy Guide and ordered the large 18x30 poster, and got the Collection when it was new. Pretty much spent $100 on the entire set.

I haven't set the poster up yet, since we moved recently, but I do have all of the character paper stills, strategy guide, game box (the box), game case, game hardback booklet, and the rest of the junk on a shelf on "display" basically. I'll have to take a picture soon.

I envy my friend though, he has both the Lunar and Lunar 2 complete sets.
(Working Design packages rock)

For the record though, Arc the Lad 3 sucks.

Adamant: Well, I was being sarcastic. I doupt many would care to play The Wand of Gamelon often.

... Generations was a movie. If you meant The Next Generation, that was still not a "Season"... It's a series lasting a full seven seasons.

Oh yeah, sorry for being way off there.

Yes, I met The Next Generation. Even though Generations itself was a good movie.

And I guess it was a "Cool Show" then.

So very sorry ...

Blind Guardian? Yuck.

Rhapsody is where it's at though.

Those are about the only bands I know of also. If you like female vocals, you might get a kick out of Nightwish (I didn't).

Symphony X is good, they're more progressive than power, but they have some good symphonic / metal songs. (The Odyssey is amazing)

Stratovarius is good. They're mainly progressive, but they have a few good somewhat symphonic / metal songs here and there.

Kamelot is supposedly Symphonic Power, but from what I've heard of them, they seem more like plain Power.

Meh, this will probably be more helpful than me.

Yeah, and as I said ... I can't say I cared for them at all. Not that I don't really like female vocals, but I didn't even really enjoy them musically. They're a little overated too. (Very very popular)

Also, most of the bands you listed Nebetsu aren't really the same exact style, kind of a broad list. And I've never really seen a genre called "Metal Opera", although basically the same idea and same thing, you'd probably get more results looking for just simply "Symphonic Metal".

Also, they're not Symphonic at all really, but Edguy's "Vain Glory Opera" song is one of their best and worth checking out.

I also hear a lot about Dream Theater, I've never heard of their stuff personally like other bands ... I've just "heard" they're good, so maybe they're worth checking out for you.

Heart of the Alien? Can't say I've played that game.

This is pretty cool though.

If you guys haven't already, you should also check out "Flashback" for the SNES or Genesis (SNES version has better controls). It's the same style of game, but has kind of more of a storyline to it. Awesome setting also.
