| A few FPS's. Pariah - The bad thing is my friend's played the beta (Gamespy account), and says it isn't all that great. F.E.A.R - Just go watch the trailers, this game looks incredible. Stalker - If it ever comes out ... DS: Metroid Prime: Hunters Castlevania DS (I still need to beat AoS though) Mario Kart DS Super Mario Bros. DS Final Fantasy III - This game would complete my collection, from 1 to 10. GC: The new Zelda, of course. Metroid Prime 3. What? ... Megaman X Collection Xbox: Jade Empire - It's out, and I need it. Advent Rising PS2: God of War - It's out, and I need it. FFXII - Whenever the heck it comes out. And discussion. Kefka: I saw the SoM thingy.... but I REALLY wish that at some point or another there would be an official English version of Seiken Densetsu 3 released in the U.S. I've been waiting for something like that since Anthology came out. There were ever rumors long ago at RPGamer that Square was going to make some kind of "Mana Package". The rumor quickly faded. And I hope they don't just port SoM, I'd like to see a new "good" Mana game, or like Kefka said a port of SD3. *checks wallet* Oh hey that's cool, $5.  |

| Well I've recently been checking out a good bit of bands, including Rhapsody. Well, wow ... they're like, almost my favorite band now. I have Symphony of the Enchanted Lands (1), and it's pretty impressive. (So you were right Ziff, and others ) But yeah, I'm basically looking for good Power Metal bands. Whether they're just Power, or Power Symphonic like Rhapsody, doesn't matter. Avantasia is pretty good from what I have, but nothing "amazing". A lot of their stuff I like, while there's also a good bit of songs I didn't care for. Kamelot, isn't bad, but sounds way too much like Edguy at times. Therion, well they're different. Don't really know what to say about them, but they're not bad. So, any suggestions? I know I've said again and again, that I don't care for Blind Guardian, but I guess I honestly haven't really given them a chance. I have heard a few songs by them, and didn't care for them, but maybe it was just a bad album or something, so I'm willing to hear more from them. (Since so many people like them, I guess they can't be that bad?) Symphony X, I like them a lot. But sometimes I'm just not in the mood for them, and I wouldn't say they're as good as Rhapsody in my opinion. Anyways, Power Metal is easily my favorite genre in music, but I'm pretty new to it, so I'm not to sure where to start. This site has proven to be a good source so far. And just a heads up, take in mind I don't really enjoy female vocals. (So I'm unsure if I'll like Nightwish, but I've heard they're pretty overated anyways). I'm not sexist at all, I just don't like female vocals. So yeah, any help? Suggestions? |
