| Although you prove more than a few strong points Laxidman, seriously though, the "dev team" what is it? Jesper? ... And I'm pretty sure I've contacted Jesper before about exploits I've found myself, and Dekker has too, since I talk to hiim regurarly on AIM. And sure, the dev team might be working on patching the board up, but as you can see this board recieved an upgrade recently, while there was no released version. So, as dan said, how do we really know when to expect another release? And you are contridicting yourself Laxidman, since you stated "you" were the person who told whomever who messed with my board "how" to do so, yet you're argueing against that factor that people shouldn't discuss these things with anyone else other than those of the dev team. Neither have I ...  I've only heard great things about it, and I've heard it's just as good as Rock Lee's fight with Gaara. (Episodes 48-50). But, this fight has to be better ... I mean, how can it not? Rock Lee gets drunk. I've even heard he does something that symbolizes Bruce Lee ... |

| I thank you Jesper, for posting this, and passing up some folks ignorance. I do have a question though, originally in a PM (or maybe when I talked with you over AIM) you told me to even put Useranks through intval. Well that just turned out to mess things up. Whenever users would edit their profile, ranks would be set to 'off' for that user. But ... keep in mind I use Acmlm+Erk ... (We don't support any of the versions beyond doing it as a courtesy, but Acmlm+Erk is a dist built upon a lot of hacks, which makes it all the more painful to upgrade from or to and which we conversly support even less, if you can believe that.) I won't even get started ...  Honestly, this is why I wanted to use Acmlm+Erk in the first place. Not because it has a few "hacks" that have been released in the past "included" in the package, but because at the time it was released (several months before 1.92) it was much better and safer to have than the 1.8a version, so I just simply wanted to go with the better deal. Now it seems I should have been patient, but hopefully in time I can fix things up, and clean up some of Erk's random / unfinished work in nearly every file ... Most of these fixes, that have recently been discussed and talked about in this thread, applied to my board just fine. But honestly, for my own personal use ... Acmlm+Erk is not pretty ...  |

| Don't forgot to also edit faq.php to add in the new powerlevels and there colors, where it displays "Banned, Regular, Local, Full, Admin" etc, that is if you want too. | |||

| Can't say I remember that one. Honestly though, I don't like EGM that much. I just don't like their opinions, and trust me, you can easily define opinions with the reviewers for some magazines. I like Gamepro and Game Informer much more. |

| It looks very awesome. They say it's quite difficult, but I'm sure I'll love it, and I love difficult games. Some games that I've beaten that come to mind are Battletoads, Ninja Gaiden on Hard, Blaster Master, etc ... My friend showed me the IGN video review today, and it just made me want the game even more. I haven't played the others, but I recently saw the first DMC up for sale for 8$ at my Local Gamestop, so I'll probably defininitely buy it, if it's still there hopefully ... There's not a lot of action games that I find enjoyable these days, but there's just something about uppercutting an enemy into the air, shooting them 50 times while still in the air, and then slashing at them another 20 times, slamming them into the ground with a huge sword of some kind, then pulverising them with bullets while they're hopelessly jammed into the ground and can do absolutely nothing about it. Then move on to the next enemy. |

I was only argueing, again and again, and I probably shouldn't have even made this thread. | Honestly, the UserCP seems to be pointless other than it being a "placeholder" for more links. That's all it really is, a nice place to put links so the index isn't cluddered, and not a bad place for users to have their buddy list stored. Other than that, I'd say definintely make it more "attractive" and maybe do more things. ... Something I've been meaning to do myself. |
